Gotta laugh at the dudes knocking this truck for not having a fold-away console shifter and dash that looks like a video game. These new Trail Boss Silverados look fantastic, perform great, are bulletproof, and hold thier value in a big way. Great truck.
i have a curious question considering, you own one... There is a lot of talk about the gm front end problems.... because this in a way is specially built for trails and such have you had problems... is the front end better built compared to the regular Silverado thank you for your time and consideration and Merry Christmas
Not a truck guy but exterior is first class & makes great first impression - interior more utilitarian but gets the job done. Excellent review - coupons looked like Jonah in the whale! Always look forward to seeing your reviews - Cheers!
Im in love with this truck im trading in my tundra in a few months for one..so much more features and I love my tundra but this truck is just bad ass and a bigger better motor with more power
It annoys me that any 2021 vehicle does not have the latest safety equipment at least available for purchase, let alone come standard. Safety should never be an option. And incandescent bulbs are just ridiculous going into the future.
Nice truck. I always feel GM is always a step behind the competition, I haven’t been in the 2021 f150 yet, but I’ve been in the ram and trail boss, trail boss feels super cheap inside compared to the ram, I wound up getting a gen2 f150 raptor which interior wise definitely also looks cheap compared to the ram as well, but the raptors looks makes up for it.
Howdy, great review as always y’all! I have to say that while I can’t speak about the new one, my uncle has a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 LTZ Duramax and it is awesome! Also, remember on your review of the Silverado last year where when you opened the back seat storage and Mason compared it to a fridge and the caption said that you could only think about food lol!😸😻😸
Really great video and review of the 2021 6.2 Trail Boss!! Ordered mine 5 weeks ago tomorrow, so I’m itching for a phone call any day soon!! So excited to get into that new bad looking ride! Your video further excels my excitement to get that phone call! 😎🤘🏻
@@sgonzales3478 Awesome, I'm assuming there isn't much room for negotiating when it comes down to building your cars correct? I'm planning on building one soon but I think buying one from the lot might be cheaper
@@supervegeta5329 unfortunately, yeah, I don’t think there’s much wiggle room with the price. However, a family friend is going to help with a GM employee discount, plus the dealer said I’ll be able to take advantage of any discounts that are available once the truck arrives and we get down to financing.
Nice truck. But GM refuses to address the rear window leak issue on these trucks for the past two years. Even 2021 models are leaking. Do not buy. Mine is a week old, already leaking, only 327 miles on it. Now at the dealership where some careless tech is gonna rip apart my new truck to fix a rear window leak, while possibly destroying so much else in the process. Well documented issue on the GM forums. Just trying to help any new buyers out. Will be posting this message anywhere I can to get the message out. I would highly recommend if you have a 19-21 GM truck with the sliding rear window, to go out turn your water hose on over the break light and window, then look inside to find your leak. They all have it. Smh GM...
It's a Ford Silverado, and what's with these actors' hand gestures? didn't even hear ye-ha music playing in the background so this generation of chevy skipped a generation in my books. These folk almost like paisa-hipsters and Holy smokes the tire width on this chevy is def'ly not domestic, bless your hearts boys. It sure is a nice Ford or City Truck to Haul Party Jumpers or port-o-johns and those quazadilia stands.

I love my 2018 FORD F150 but there's no denying that this 2021 TRAILBOSS is insanely handsome.
I own this truck with the 6.2. it's epic, best truck I've ever owned

Does the 6.2 engine require 91 octane fuel?
It has a porwer fold mirror?
I can't wrap my head around the 6.2 having less payload and towing capacity.
Any engine problems?
Probably the best review of features on the Trail Boss that I've seen on RUclips - very informative. Thank you!

I really love the 2021 Chevy Silverado Trail boss! It’s very nice! I really love pickup trucks! It has lots of room!
Agreed, except the Frontier lol!

I bought a 2020 Trail Boss with 6.2 definitely worth it!
Do you always run premium fuel in it?
I run mid grade gasoline (89) octane and premium sometimes
@sssparky76 thank you. Do you notice a difference in anything when you don’t run premium?
It annoys me that any 2021 vehicle does not have the latest safety equipment at least available for purchase, let alone come standard. Safety should never be an option. And incandescent bulbs are just ridiculous going into the future.
Me too!
If you don't like incandescent you can replace them with LEDs.
@@andybub45 I’m saying that in 2021 they should not be used at all. Completely unnecessary today.
@@MrFlyboy1313 LEDs cost more, which means the vehicle and repairs to the system are more expensive. A mix of LEDs and Incandescent is ok.
It's a shame why Chevrolet didn't put a front camera also under the outside side mirrors like GMC sierra at4
Now that is a true Drew vehicle! He swings that truck around like a boss!
I was going to get a 2021 trail boss but ended up getting a 2021 GMC AT4 honestly glad I got the GMC instead.
Almost have to wait for the 2022 next Fall....new interior and many other upgrades coming.
Six Deuce let it loose 🇺🇸🤯
😹
Buen video hermano
How does it lower the tow rating if you go with the 6.2 usually you go with a larger more powerful engine the tow rating goes up
Not sure why, but the tow rating always goes down when selecting the 6.2L engine on all GM products
You are adding more weight to the truck, without upgrading brakes and suspension etc.
Nice looking truck on the outside . The inside is just kind of cheap looking . Thanks guys
Chevy is changing the interior to a quality interior for the 2022 models
Yep, interior is ugly and cheap looking!
Exactly the video I was looking for...... 10 speed
Why couldn’t GM offer the top safety package in the trail boss? All models should include that!
Probably the only thing I don't like is the analog speedometer & multifunction display. Everything else about it looks nice.
Sorry but chevy needs to update the interior
Its already in the works. Are you gonna buy one after they do?
Wait, I though this interior just came out in 2019?
Exactly! Take a look at the Dodge TRX and Ford Raptor and then look at the Trail Boss. Trail Boss is lagging behind big time.
Who gives a RIP about the INTERIOR.
Silverado 1500 LTZ is my dream truck right now.
@ Andrew M Dream on Friend be happy with your 85 S-10 !
Great truck don't understand why this truck doesn't have all the safety features
Replaced my 09 ranger with a trail boss 2021 .. major change for me lol i really like my new truck. Time will tell if i made a good choice!
Thank you for keeping the intro short!
Bench seats are no longer available on the LT . Only on the custom trail boss .
they should offer this as a package like if i wanted a ltz i can get it with a trail boss package
To the best of my knowledge the trail boss suspension is available as a dealer installed option on any 1500

It’s a V6 tho..
A v6 that blows the doors off the ram, trail boss and any f150 v8 and I like the way it sounds, different from a v8 but I like it.

I thought the 6.2L 10speed have a max tow of 13,300 lbs? correct me if Im wrong.
To bad they don't come in a disel for 2021
Interior is way behind the competition.
Great truck, just wish it could be paired with the diesel
The 2021 Trail Boss comes with power fold mirrors?
Can anyone explain the difference between the 2020 and 2021 Trailboss?
I see no difference in the two
Nice video. Does that Bose system come with a subwoofer? Thanks
Yes. And in fact it’s a killer system. I
Can you please do the 2021 g wagon please
Forget the LT , GO LTZ ALL THE WAY if anything...
Fisher price teamed up with Chevy to put that interior together.
How original from a ram fanboy.
@@SDRacing88 you know it’s true otherwise the truck looks good on the outside. Ha
I know the truck isn't that big, how tall are you?
5'8"
You know it's off-road because it has red tow hooks
Jeep Trail Hawk has entered the chat.
6.2 towing less?
Good 👍
Agreed

Get the custom trailboss. I paid 42k for my custom
A lot of people can since you can now spread the payments over eight freaking years now. A bad move, but people do it

Omg it looks like the saburbin
Kinda,

$42 here in Texas
Lifters are bad in 2021 5.3 and 6.2. GM would only replace 8 or the 16

2021...$60k, made in mexico and still putting stickers on the body. Way to be GM🤷♂️.
