Im shocked how simple this entire kit is to install and how difficult I was making it in my head out to be. Im more shocked the batteries from 1995 still work!

The black wire is a antenna. just run it thrue the car for longer reach.
I think thath te cabel is to connect it to a alarmsystem.
I wish i had keyless in my Corrado…using the key is so annoying lol

if you had electric windows you could control them with youre keyfob. i had back in the day my vento with electric windows and after installing the keyfod i could operate it whit it

Cool i have the exact same system on my mk3 but my keyfob has a green and red button, would this also be vortex? Or difrent Brand? Keyfob is exactly the same besides the collors

Just saying, I've never had issues with electric windows on my mk3 and I know a lot of people who have had issues with manual reg
european mk3s dont suffer from the sams issues as the usdm ones 👍
I too have never had issues w my electric windows, so much so that I retrofitter electric windows even to the rear doors
They just don’t make things like they used to. Glad to see you got it working and it truly is amazing the batteries work and today batteries can’t last 2 years.
My Bora Mk4 has also its original Keyfob batteries. My father bought the car new back then, so I'm sure the remote is pretty powersaving. The keyless go on our Skoda Octavia MK3 requiers new batteries about every 6-8 monthes.
