Adam's Wheel and Tire cleaner was the first chemical I used when I first started out that wasn't Chemical Guys. It was then when I realized how much I was getting ripped off. All these years later I still use it as my go to wheel and tire cleaner if I need that extra strength.
Thank you! Your take on dilutions is very important as it allows opting for Gallon size for better value. Looking at the foam I'm sure it'll work great with IK Foam sprayer.
Looking forward to checking this out. This looks like it’s going to be a good once a season reset tire cleaner. I’ll still plan on using Brake Buster as a maintenance cleaner.
Legit. I had browned to absolute hell and back Bridgestones. Never cleaned. THREE rounds of brake buster. Still dirty and browned. Adam’s cleaned it in one pass.
From everything i seen adams tske the cake. This seems to be the best overall. As a diy'er, ive been using nanoskins non acid for several years. 1:5 in a marolex foamer and its alsways been solid for me. 21 bucks for a gallon and lasts at least two years for me. This may be worth a go at some point though.
love adams wheel and tire, i was diluting it for maintenance but decided to keep it straight and just use apc for maintenance, just to keep from buying more than i have to.

my ONLY complaint about the Adam's W/T cleaner is that it takes about a half bottle per car. Having said that, I'm using it straight up undiluted... and it really does work well. Definitely worthwhile getting the 5 gallon refill bottle when they're on sale.
@@ccooke70 yeah possibly at 10:1-20:1 but it’s main chemical in general is very potent to Powdercoat I would just use a safer alternative like brake buster or a soap like Primus or even a normal PHN soap
I have been using mostly P&S products because they work and its economical, but, you have to shop multiple sites to get what you want, unless you go directly through their site and pay a ridiculous shipping fee. Adams for better or worse has all the products neatly organized on their site and shipping is at most $5. Catch a sale and buy gallons (they have bogo deals where a gallon gets you a free 16oz bottle) and its usually around $4-$6 for a 16oz bottle of whatever, that to me is pretty affordable. Maybe I ditch brake buster for this.
I won’t try superior’s stuff as it’s made with some gnarly chemicals like caustic soda where this one from Adam’s uses sodium metasilicate which is still gnarly but still much safer than the sodium hydroxide 👍🧼
Go and try tire and rubber cleaner on the tire only and this wheel & tire on the wheel only and that combo is killer!! It cleans the tire alot better yet
You can at like a 10:1 dilution, but this is just a stronger chemical so if your stripping your tires and wheels every wash eventually something will fail prematurely
Fire video. 1:1 is works phenomenal too! Still cleans way better than brake buster! Been preaching about Adams especially in a gallon they have it on sale at times for 36$. Now you have 2 gallons for the price of one. 1:1 doesn't strip any coatings either. A sealant yes but no sealant last on wheels.
What’s the pros of using a pricey wheel cleaner instead of a Super Clean to clean the wheels and tires? I want to try Adams wheel and tire cleaner but I usually just use super clean in a dedicated foam cannon for wheels it foams the product up nice and leaves the tires very clean after agitation even though the foam cannon dilutes the product a bit and from the super clean dilution chart on the website says to use it straight up without dilution for tires
i got the spray bottle cuz the gallons expensive and honestly unless i dilute it im gonna only get through 3-4 actual dirty cars :( the tires usually need 2 rounds of cleaning and still have a little tiny bit of dirt left
Will this be safe on painted surfaces over time ??? Like factory Matte black wheels ? Or Red Brembo brakes ? I don’t want my brakes to fade like I’ve seen in some cars
nice review... i used it with great results... you mentioned it, the product will knock the b'jesus out of your wheel protection...i learned that the hard way...
Yup, these super concentrated high pH cleaners absolutely eat protection. I don't use them if I want to keep the coating or sealant alive long. This product killed my Diamond Wheels in 3 applications basically. That's partly because Diamond Wheels was not very good though.

It's like Brake Buster if Brake Buster was actually a Brake Buster 😂. It's at least twice as powerful as BB in my estimation. It eats spray sealants alive though, few applications and you will seriously degrade anything beyond a true ceramic coating and maybe even some of those. Same experience as you. For that reason, I just stick to MWC or iron remover types for wheels. It's my standby on tires or really dirty surfaces though.
