I just bought the same stove as yours and in the instructions manual it says that you should turn it clockwise 1/6 of a turn until it clicks. Actually, if you look at the valve you will notice 3 little pins that secure the valve. Probably you can use it as you did, without click it, but I don't think it's safe. I'll stick to the manual :)

Hi man. Obviously stick to the manual if that's what in the product specs is specified. All the best

A really neat burner, it's been my companion for almost ten years now and it still rocks. Coffee in less than five minutes! Thanks for sharing.

it's good to hear it can last a long time. Not many products nowadays having a long life expectancy.

@@SEPAChannel another thing with those. i used to refill mine,, anyway had 1 i musta refilled 20 times catch fire.. gas escaped from gap between canister and stove.. I switched to screw stove after that..was most likely due to repeat refills tho.

You’re supposed to push it in and twist it to secure it.

Gas cannisters are expensive compared to the screw on models.

I've been looking for an adapter for years, apparently there isn't enough demand for them which is why nobody makes them. After Coleman purchased campingaz in 1996 they stopped selling all easyclic canisters in North America, so those of us that own campingaz equipment are basically screwed.... I resorted to ordering an adapter from Germany that I use to refill my old canisters, but they are getting old and will eventually leak..

@@Cream_of_sum_yung_gai i've done some searching and found that jeebel camp makes or made 2 adapters, jbl-g017 that connects to asian-style butane cans, and jbl-018 that connects to threaded lindahl canisters. but, they are not sold in the us, and dealers in europe are out-of-stock.
