they should let you enlist kolgrim in the wardens, i mean he is one tough sob, it was eaiser to beat the guardian even if you kill off kolgrim's henchmen, and he would easily pass the joining because he drinks dragon blood for breakfast of course on the other hand he is totally mad.
This scene really is a curiosity in regards to the Qunari, given how Iron Bull refers to dragons. I can't help but feel like his entire character was thought up out of thin air with no lore recognition.
Kieran and Corepheus mention something about the blood of the Qunari too. I think this whole Dragon-Qunari thing is one of those things which simply get added later on in regards to lore. Like female Qunari not being allowed to fight, according to Sten, yet there are several females in military ranks as we find out in later titles. Or how Alistair claims in this game that lyrium isn’t necessary to develop the abilities of a Templar, even though that’s disproven later too.
Origins was originally going to be a one and done thing. It was only after the game did so well that they made sequels. They tried to cover up as much of the inconsistencies as they could, but naturally some things get forgotten. This is one of them.
High dragons are pretty intelligent creatures. defiling the ashes allowing those humans near her, having a blood vial and allowing them to guard her eggs. What was her thinking in all this i wonder.
They are intelligent but not THAT intelligent. In a codex it's stated they are as intelligent as dolphins. They modelled the intellect on George R. R. Martin's dragons. They are very intelligent, can learn, can ambush, but they don't have such intricate plans as you're implying.
@@JamesCourse66 To be fair, animals can also be manipulative. They lack complex scheming, sure, but they can still manage to take advantage of other creatures

I'm just wondering what they thought of this 'Andraste' when she mated with a bunch of drakes. I mean... seriously. Also: I know who I'm taking to the mountain when I destroy the ashes! Hehehehehe
They do, when Sten says the dragon he even says: Now, that's ataashi! (wiki: Ataashi:[22] Dragon; literally "glorious one(s)." ) But even if they respect them, they still view them only as animals, magnificent animals but still animals. Sten said: "Qunari do not worship".
I feel like they retconned a lot of what the Qunari are in Origins compared to Inquisition. I understand Bull is meant to be more of a "free" Qunari, but still.
@@johannesvonmalos7505 I believe they're referring to Bull saying in Inquisition that Qunari consider Dragon's sacred but then clarifies " well as much as we hold anything sacred" they don't worship Dragon as Gods. So in my opinion Sten's reaction doesn't contradict anything.
Its funny, how hypocritical Leliana is. She said that Andraste couldn't be reborn, she essentially trash talk all their beliefs, but on the other hand she is following you, because she "had a dream where maker showed her way". This is exactly like real life religion. The tool to force oneself to surrender his free will and accepted any fairy-tale no matter how absurd as an ultimate "truth".
Apparently there's some pretty strong coffee down in those caverns.
Ha! I love the way Oghren gives Kolgrim the business. I've never seen that before, because I usually do Haven before Orzammar.
Is it just me or does Kolgrim look like Leonidas?? Anyone?? I'm not crazy.
He did remind me of Leonidas when I was playing the game.
No, not crazy! Spot on, but not crazy!
"THIS IS HAVEN!!"

Madness? THIS IS ANDRASTE!!
They think a dragon is Andraste... Why do I feel that this is the writers secretly hinting that Flemeth is or was Andraste...
That's an...interesting idea.
Yunglex313 But that's just a theory.
A GAME THEORY
It's the truth...

Actually, she's Mythal.

@@Hawaiian_Pizza_Enjoyer I blame idiot writers putting hare-brained agendas before the lore they have the responsibility to represent right.

“And what? Encourage the worship of a large lizard?”
Worse ways to spend my time, Sten 😂
It's a Shame you can't get the reavers to join you in the final battle those bloodthirsty warriors would make valuable allies

let me guess, you're annoyed that Bioware didnt make Fereldan's Leonidas romancable?

You can see the crazy in Kolgrim's eyes.
Refused to take my armour off like a boss and then poisoned the Urn with no regrets ;) xD
he's also a crazed cultist...
After all these years I still love Kolgrim's hammy performance.

Oh, goodness. I love your Warden's dagger and Wynne's robes.
Hardest decision in the game D:
The High Dragon is the Living Andraste that Kolgrim's talking about!!!??
@DanaDuchy could you please give a list of the mods your using in these videos
I always was so envious on your warden. He's damn handsome.
Does anyone find it strange that Sten, a Qunari, isn't at all fascinated in Dragons as the Iron Bull was?
The writers and developers are different the qunari in originis are not the same ones than in inquisition
