@Terifix Nice joke! BEFORE the Islamic Golden Age, there was a Dhaarmic Golden Age. People were building stuff (until the caliphate decided to bomb stuff). Everyone here was avoiding full fledged wars because the history of Kurukshetra was well known. This caused internal disturbances which Ghori and Ghaznavi took advantage of. The British gradually took control of India through a combination of military conquest and strategic alliances, ultimately displacing both the Mughal and Maratha powers. By the early 18th century, the Mughal Empire, was weakening due to internal conflicts, succession struggles, and invasions. While the Mughal emperor remained a nominal figurehead, the empire's control was fragmenting, creating power vacuums. During the Mughal decline, several regional powers, most notably the Marathas, rose to prominence. The Maratha Empire expanded rapidly across large parts of India, challenging Mughal remnants and other powers. At the same time, European colonial powers, including the British, the French, and the Dutch, were vying for control of trade and territories along the coast. The British East India Company began to expand its influence, initially in alliance with local rulers but later through direct military confrontation. The Anglo-Maratha Wars (1775-1818) were a crucial part of this. After defeating the Marathas in a series of wars, the British effectively dismantled the Maratha Empire by 1818, which had been one of the most powerful regional players in India. The British, after weakening the Mughals and defeating the Marathas, gained control over vast regions of India. While the Mughal emperor technically remained in Delhi until 1857, the British East India Company exercised real power. Following the Indian Rebellion of 1857, the British government took over direct control, marking the start of the British Raj.

FYI , BRITISH took India from MARATHAS , which heCOMPLETELY OVERLOOKED. what a selective freaking history is this.

First of all I would like to Thank you , I really liked that you showed both the perspective of British and India. I got to learn some new things that I didn't know. But I would like to request you for part 2 showings how it impacted India and how Indian freedom fighter struggled for freedom and how much they were in misry (especially kal Pani ki Saja) because as an Indian I realized that even some of Indian don't know about that (today's generation)

Appreciate the video, however I would like suggest that during Mughal period, India had already weakened by the Mughals, Sultanates, and other rulers/invaders. However just to fact, try finding history just before Ghori, India was astronomically richer and way powerful.
And during Gupta period and before India was called the Golden bird, it was way more richer.
The story of British invading India it’s a story that every Indian grows up with, and I am really sad because I’m an Indian but I am proud of India been able to be strong and fighting even if it’s no money
Bro is going to get a billion views lol
