    Very good design for layout. That is probably one of the best bed designs I have seen. Congratulations to you both.

    You're a pretty useful, brilliant guy! And the work you've done looks exceptional. Love the smoke and CO2 detectors and fire extinguisher. Those are 3 items I look for in every build tour. The interior design is unique and looks to be efficient for use. The bed and its placement are clever as crows! I've never seen a design like this, but it makes such sense. Love the garage, bathroom and wardrobe area - very sensible, especially the accessibility to garage and bathroom from inside and out. Your work is so professional! The curtains look like they were made as original equipment, they are so well done! Truth be told, your van looks new from the factory. Beautiful job, well done!
    Please post another tour when you've finished the whole thing. I would love to see where the microwave and TV go, as well as the other bits and bobs you've yet to install.

      Hi, thank you so much for watching and your lovely comment, it means a lot to us. We are so happy if it gives ideas for van builds and we are finding this layout very practical when we are on the road. We have another video on the channel of the new lights, fridge and microwave - MWB Mercedes Sprinter, Vanbuild Update - Lights, Fridge/Freezer, Microwave - Vanlife UK, the link is ruclips.net/video/GJ4J3LuYJRc/видео.html
      We do have 12v TV installed now above the small cupboard next to the door, we have realised there is not a video showing it so we will make one in the near future and with any other things we can think of. Once again thanks so much for your support and interest and wishing you a very Happy New Year, Mark and Gill

    Hi Guys, Respect for your Self-Build.
    If you would be so nice and let me know where you bought the Curtain Rails/Runners on the side Windows from?
    Are they Original Mercedes or Made to fit your Van or are they from the Shelf?
    Cheers in advance and Happy/Safe Travells. Mike

    Great video. So as I was already used as mini bus did you not have to insulate or anything?

    • @livenlettravel6524
      @livenlettravel6524  2 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for viewing and your comment. The van was already mostly insulated as a minibus and we insulated the floor. It works well like this so we left the walls as they were as they were nicely carpeted and we didn't want to pull this apart. Many thanks.

    Hi mate ive subbed 😊 quick question if thats ok , do you no if its possible to replace every window in a sprinter for double glazed laminated ? Were im sensitive to noise im just thinking the single pane wondows will be the weakest points 🤔 had a quick search on google but no luck. i did read something on a forum about the side windows need to be single pane incase of a fire you need to eacape and with soundproof double glaze laminate there unsmashable 🤔

    • @livenlettravel6524
      @livenlettravel6524  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi thanks for subbing and your question, to my knowledge they do not make double glazed laminate glass windows for the Mercedes sprinter as they would be far too heavy to be bonded to the bodywork and as you say would be unbreakable as they are laminated which would be a safety hazard. If you have no holes cut for windows already, I would suggest getting acrylic double glazed opening windows which would be much lighter than glass. This should give good soundproofing and could be pushed out in an emergency. We have single tinted glass all around out Sprinter and with the thermal blackout blinds we have inside this gives pretty good soundproofing. Many thanks for your question and I hope this helps, cheers Mark

    How did you get the chair lift off, it looks a daunting task to me, I'm not keen on doing it myself, I would appreciate some tips to get mine off, and to put the spare wheel rack in. What year is this van

    • @livenlettravel6524
      @livenlettravel6524  Год назад +1

      Hi Mike, thanks for your question, our van is a 2009 311 CDI Sprinter, W906. What type of wheelchair lift do you have on your van please, is it a slide under the back or a fold up the back type? Ours was a slide under type so we can let you have details on how we removed it.

      Hi Mike, I will write you a detailed description of how we took ours off in the next couple of days. The only thing I will say is you will definitely need 2 people to do this job for safety reasons due to the weight of it.
