That was very helpful. Thank you. I've often wondered about exactly how much modification needs to happen with the KDP interiors we download from creative fabric.
It’s a great resource for non-artists to grab elements and be super creative and create unique products .. just many aren’t educated on how it is supposed to be done and the others don’t care and looking at KDP as quick income…
@@PublisherReport sure, that's what I learned from the Kdp business, u need to be patient and creative, and most RUclipsrs use this Kdp just to promote their affiliate link without explaining to the audience that it's not a copy past business

It's really helpful for me looking everywhere trying to figure out why my journal is refused on KDP 🥺🥺🥺🥺I emailed them but really couldn't wait until they reply, so I kept searching until I found your video. 🙂
I just bought a affinity designer, but the file I have from creative fabrica is not an AI file. The artist only provided a PDF and PNG files. How can I still move the elements around in a creative fabric design like you did?
Hey thanks for the video. I have one question. Can i combine two bundles of creative fabrica or use images from every bundle i own to make one 1 book???
Check your license to be sure, but I don't see an issue with that ... thats the point, you buy the license to create what you want and sell it as your own product.
This is true for any of their content. If your making a shirt from one of their images to sell, you have to change something to make it uniquely your own.
Thank you, you video is amazing!! I have a question please. What if i upload three interior coloring pages files from creative fabrica, and i take each page from one file and i put it in my interior without modifying the page that i put in my interior just i will change the order, would that be a unique interior?. Like i have 3 interiors in my own interior that i will upload ( i won’t choose all the pages form the 3files just 10 from 20 per file for example)
Sure adding a file as is to your interior is okay … better to modify but just a page here and there is not a show stopper 👍 but the more you make your own the better…
Hi, wondering if we need to credit creative fabrica when uploading to kdp and also, if you puchase several pages from the one designer, i mixing and matcing all the pages in one book. Is that unique content? Thaks in advance.
Can you? Or should you? I believe your good with the Pod license… but you gotta edit them if you want people to buy and be happy with the purchase and leave a good review 👍 don’t be lazy about it … think about what you’d think of you bought a book and got a pre-made interior … just create real books 📚 for real people that you’re happy to let the world know you created it and sell it 👍
Thank you for this. I've just bought a CF subscription but I'm almost too scared to use it because I'm worried my customised images won't be different enough from the originals! I'm used to creating all my graphics myself so my work was always unique, but as I work pretty slowly it takes me too long to create everything from scratch myself so I'm giving CF a go. Can I ask, do you credit the artists in your book interior at all? I'm unable to find anything on the website that says how/whether we should credit.
I worried about this too at first, but I find most of the graphics I've downloaded from CF are pretty small to begin with so any coloring page I create is drastically different from the original download.
If you're the first one to publish a book with an interior from creative fabrica, would you get in trouble if someone after you uploads a book with the same interior? Or do they only punish the one who uploaded later on
Well the 1st person to upload it is going to be the person that "owns" it .... but no one owns it as it's sold with a commercial license... It's a deeper question of the business that CF is in vs the business that Amazon is in. The thing to do is not use anything that is sold with a commercial license or given away for free "as is" you must modify it and make it your own and something different.
@@ashleyjp0117 you can but I don’t recommend it in the same niche too much potential for someone buying and getting the same interior … better to modify and make unique in my opinion to make sure your giving the buyer the best product you can create 👍
Yeah that’s a cool and informative video but with the advent of AI like mid journey, the issue of duplicate content will die out soon because publishers especially the low and medium content ones can now create unique contents using this software.
Their site is confusing. I found this on their Single Sales License description page about what is not allowed: "Combine multiple products to create a 'new' design and sell that." According to this, what you just did is a violation. But if you can't do what you just did, then Creative Fabrica is useless. Am I reading it wrong, or did they make a mistake?
You are not allowed to combine multiple files and then sell that file as a new design. To sell a coloring book made from multiple designs is not a problem. Just uploading a design (unaltered) as is to a POD service could possibly not be allowed. it depends, check the license. Also if you subscribe and don´t pay for the image individually, you can´t use it freely if you cancel the subscription.
Great content. So easy to understand. I have a question? How do you change downloads in illustrator? Do you use the PNG or EPS files? Do they make downloads that you can edit the verbiage for low content books? I look forward to your response. Thanks again for putting out such quality content 😄

I use illustrator, so I can help, hopefully. Illustrator is a vector program so the easiest files to edit are going to be EPG or SVG (they are the ones that have the dots and anchors so you can move the lines around with your pen tool). Yes u can... But add some change to photos
Avoid the trademark infringement
