I bought the C3 last month as a replacement for my C1 and I couldnt be happier with it. Checks all the boxes as did my C1. The reason for the upgrade? Because a friend of mine wanted my C1 so bad that he paid me a good price for it and it gave me a chance to upgrade lol. I love the design, PQ, brightness you name it. Even the sound is a major upgrade from my C1. But with something as beautiful as the C3 I would still recommend a Soundbar or full surround sound system. I could have went with a C4 but I didnt see a whole lot of difference between the two except that brightness was slightly better and that was about it. But now when it comes to tv's I am officially done for a few years until I go the projection route. I am going to turn my attention now to getting a better sound setup mainly speakers ect. That all being said. Great video as always Paul.

Not to bother you but you better saved a bit up for an G3 or G4 that would be the real upgrade buddy.
I wish I got the c3 and not c2 my soundbar supports dts sound my tv doesn’t, c3 does
Looks great, still happy with my CX though. Maybe I’ll upgrade when the C6 comes out.
The first thing that impressed me, is the snappy system, been using the Nvidia Shield Pro with a TCL QLED. Now I really feel how tired that 2019 processor is. But it still works great as a Plex server.
A comparison of the C3 against the C4 will be interesting, sadly your samples are in the wrong size
for me.
Having returned my faulty C3 i am waiting to find out what issues the C4 suffers from, the smaller
screen sizes are supposed to have upgraded panels and they need them, banding on my 48" was bad
from new.
Lets hope the C4 has escaped the C3's weakspots.
i personally like the remote except for the missing PLAY/PAUSE button but i really dont like that you cant fully disable the magic pointer. i picked a c3 for my parents who are a bit older and not very dextrous with smartphones and other gadgets and my dad tends to scroll the ENTER-wheel slightly when he wants to press it and then the pointer appears and its all a bit unncessary annoying if you could just disable it and not have the pointer appear when shaking the remote or scrolling the wheel

I look forward to the comparison video, LG C4 vs C3. I'm debating in my head whether the approximate £500 difference (currently) is worth it.
im relatively confident it is not worth it. also, the 500 bucks is relatively optimistic at least if we are talking 65 inches :D
im a pc gamer, i like high framerates but 120 vs 144hz really isnt a big difference and if you dont have a RTX 5090 you wont reach beyond 120 anyways, consoles i dont think i even need to mention when talking about framerates
Is there any alternative media player on LG webos like VLC media player. I wish to play contents from my USB
Don't like my C3. There is a blur off it when watching football in UHD on Sky Q. I'm thinking of getting sky stream to see if there is any difference.

I would wait until the prices come down and buy the C4 as the C4 is a lot better than the C3 according to reviews

bud quick q forget the haters i like your videos they are great - quick question i can see dse and vertical banding on grey screen when i have the ps5 on the hdmi, in the native youtube lg it is quite clean.... what could be going on
A soundbar or external speakers should be considered if you want natural tone.

Idk Paul, I’m still rocking my B8 after all these years my man.
A few things about the lg c3 people should know about. The speakers are truly awful, the worst I've ever heard on a tv. Secondly, black crush is very noticeable and makes the picture look bad. Thirdly, oled flicker (different to pwm flicker which it doesn't have) is bad for your eyes, I got headaches and migraines very quickly from watching this tv
Very hard to play 120hz 4k resolution to these consoles. We have to wait for ps5 pro i guess

IN RTINGS it was mentioned LG C4 - 8.9 , LG C3- 9 🤷🏻♂
They keep changes in multiple stages of testing. The only difference u feel in brightness remains are visually same. I used E7 , C8, c9 then by skipping CX moved to C1 and now G3(77)and C1(65) both i owned. Both the TV has same picture quality in real time usage. By physical appearance G3 and G4 looks stunning on the wall with nogap wallmount. The good thing lg do from C3 is they made thik frames which helps in movement of TVs. My c8 was damaged during home shift.
You'd have to ask them why they scored it that way.

Hi Paul always watching your videos m8..i have a question i'm an Lg C9 owner and i'm noticing dead pixels around the corners now.. would this be the best upgrade or waiting on the Lg G4 for price drop ? thanks
My C9 has a lot dead pixel around the edges. I bought an extended warranty, so now after 4 years an 10000 hours I get a C3 for free. 😂. Could not be happier that I spend 150€ extra for the warranty. I will do it again for the replacement. Maybe I get in 4 years again a new Oled😅

I've been considering the c3 for the last couple of weeks I've never had an oled little bit worried with watching a lot of football on virgin box that it might not be bright enough on sunny super Sundays and that the score and time may cause burn in. And also since i usually have Sony's is the motion good.
If you want brighter then consider the outgoing G3, you should get a good deal on that.
Motion I think is great on LG OLEDs.
As for burn in. Yes there is always that risk, but as long as you mix the content up, you should be fine mate 😊

I have flickering in many games. GTA V is very bad. The sky flickers very bad. In SDR everything is fine. What can I do?

Hi, Is C3 is bright enough for a moderately lit room, Is HDR Brightness in Game mode too low? , can we resolve this issue by calibrating properly?
I'd say it is, but if you want some extra brightness punch, then consider the G3

Its pretty dim in all but vivid mode to be honest.
Hi Paul did you or anyone else with a C3 have an update notification yesterday (08/5) for 03.41.?? or something? I'm sure it appeared on my C3 so I checked the LG site, couldn't find it, went back to the TV and the notification had gone and was not shown when I checked for updates from the support menu.

You mean 120hz? Then no the LG A1 nor the A2 supports 120hz.

65” G3 for 1861€ or 77” C3 for 1759€? Room is not bright plus I watch with blackout curtains. Use case: 4K UHD discs + PS5/XSX + RUclips (via ATV 4K). 1759€ for brand new 77” C3 seems a bargain.
The extra size of the 77 inch C3 will have more impact over the G3s extra brightness.

in regards to the brightness, i have a c1 still and that one hasnt even the evo panel and yet i have it set to like 40-50% oled brightness. so i dont know what this urban legend is that probably the clowns of samsung have put out that oleds arent bright. i mean yeah the non-oleds are brighter but do you need that excessive brightness ? maybe on the surface of the sun but on here on earth.
jokes aside, if have the sun shine directly at the screen (not talking about having a lit up background but DIRECTLY at the screen) then i could imagine that older OLEDs like the C1 could get to their limits but i feel like every other scenario the brightness argument is as much of a real world myth as is burn in for the normal person

There isn't much other than a bit of better brightness and image processing enhancement on the C4.
No one will talk about the difference until the C3 has been pulled out of the shelves.
As the company will want to market their next line up of products.
