I just got my 65” C3 last week, and man does it look great gaming and watching movies. Watching it streaming RUclips is meh, solid review none the less and I’m happy with my purchase.
What t.v would sit next to this one from sony and samsung as far as picture qualtiy and relative price. Just wondering for refrence to compare the bigs names.
I've got a 65-in LG C3 and I got to say I'm pretty impressed. I've had it sitting right next to a Sony A95L and I thought the C3 looked pretty similar in most content. And I do like that the LG C3 has every possible add-on that you can put on a TV. Gaming hub, PC compatibility, Smart hub, All those burn in protections. Great review. you forgot to mention the hands-free voice control works pretty nice too. Long live LG.
Wow that’s awesome you’re able to compare the C3 and A95L. I just got the C3 in 55” after debating back and forth with the s90c and A95L. Samsung scared me after reading so many have had problems with the brand’s reliability and the Sony was a just a bit more than what I wanted to spend. Got the C3 55” for $1300.
Got my 65" C3 a week ago. AMA-A-AZing TV. It has 10 picture modes to choose from instead of 5 or 6 that most TVs have. You can adjust it in so many ways to fit YOUR eye!! Sound is very good too. The clear and super colorful picture is incredible! SUPER HAPPY WITH MY C3!!!
I've been researching and watching a bunch of videos on LG OLEDs and this was the best one I've seen. I don't usually comment either, but all the relevant info is here. Subscribed.
Looks to me that LG put every imaginable feature in this TV , and I agree with you saying that it's a fantastic TV. I'll just add that this was a fantastic review Steve.
I’ve had the C3 83” for about a week now and absolutely blown away. Was a little nervous about brightness but honestly this thing is super bright. Love it. Great review
From the CX, C1, C2 and the C3 LG in my opinion knocked it out of the park. If you own any of the C series OLED's from LG you are set. I own the legendary C1 and have for almost 2 years and I have not regretted my purchase one bit and I will ride with it until it dies. Great review Steve.
just got the 48 for my gaming rig and freaking WOW is all i have to say. I did not want to spent to much on the GPU, so I was the first in my city to take delivery of the 4070Ti supers when they were new off the line knowing that the 5000's will be hitting the shelves soon, as it has dual av1 encoders and has 3 HDMI 2.1 ports. The one i got clocks out at almost 200Mhz over the default speed and its still set to the default clock position. I read years ago the first ones off the line get a bump in performance for the costumers that are in the know. The GPU shows its legs with 4k gaming with the AI Deep Learning Super Scaling and looks crazy amazing to anyone that is addicted to the Eye candy of games today, and the LG C3 @48 inches compliments the PC build without breaking the bank.
After weeks of visiting Best Buy, comparing the $2,499 C3 77" and $1,500+ A2 77", doing research, and watching RUclips reviews, I finally made a decision. I chose to purchase the A2 77" TV for over $1500+ at Best Buy and decided to use the money I saved to buy the Bose Soundbar 900, 700 Bass Module, and 700 Surround Speakers. I'm not into gaming; I mainly stream NBA, NFL, and movies. The combination of the 77" TV with the Bose 900 System has truly transformed my movie watching experience. It takes it to a whole new level. I would highly recommend getting the A2 and invest in a good surround sound system. The picture quality of the A2 is really impressive, and when paired with a great surround sound setup, it's definitely worth it.
I've had a LG CX for about 3 years and I have some burn in from the icons on my desktop and a "dirty screen" burn in. It is not the TV's fault, it is mine because I use the tv like a PC monitor. I'm about to buy a C3 to replace this tv and now I have more knowledge about how I should use it to prevent burn in. Either way, 3 yrs is not too bad for the kind of use.

Lg C3 vs Sony A80K I can buy them for similar price. I don’t know what to choose, please help me decide. Audio quality is important for me because I will not have any external speakers.
A week ago we purchased last years LG C3 OLED EVO TV to replace our 7 year old LG OLED. We used a HDMI splitter to compare the two TVs side by side. The comparison wasn't as significant as I was expecting for 7 years of improvements because there were trade offs. The new TVs out of the box was a big disappointment. The colors were unnatural. The color settings were changed to make them as realistic as possible then it was a great TV.. This ability to manually manipulate the picture is a big improvement. The C3 has a three demential look compared to the flat look of our old LG OLED. The Brilliant whites come with a price. Even after turning the brightness down to 70%, faces still look like they have a spot light on them. The royal blues look light blue. The moss green look light green. The rich reds look orange-red. It is nice that we can work with the colors and brightness. It is a great TV!
LG C3 is a better TV overall with better processing and more 3D pop to the image. Also, less likely to get burn in and last longer and has a ton of add-ons like smart hub and PC compatibility, music hub, etc etc. The Samsung does have a brighter panel with more color if you take advantage of the settings brightest settings. Basically the LG C3 is a great TV with a very good panel. the Samsung S90C is a great panel but just an OK TV
I would say the exact opposite. Do you like a brighter screen and more pop in your colors, go with the S90C all day. Do you prefer a dimmer screen with better black level detail, then go with the C3. It all viewing preference between these two. @newton296
Can we watch Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max ProRess 422 10bit 4K videos on LG C3 4K OLED TV? I've LG C2 4K OLED TV does not support Apple ProRess 422 10bit 4K.
After watching numerous reviews and finding an early Black Friday deal I pulled the trigger on a 77” LG C3 OLED TV. It will be replacing our 2016 LG 55” that has been trouble free for almost 8-years. Looking forward to X-Mas week delivery as this will be our family Christmas gift.
Hi and thanks for your info/review. I did buy one and yet have been having a serious flimmer effect while using the TV, I think it´s not really in sync with the HDR settings of the tv as Im getting a warning to change my settings on the tv side as the HDR is not being used as it should be? I have no Idea what settings, or where on my Win 11 PC? Seems I have no manual that followed with the product. Otherwise it looks great via home screen or PS5. Any ideas? It´s like the HDR is not in use at all and can´t see what to change.
I have the C1 and it doesnt look like its worth the mark up. I think it went up like 500$ CAD for the exact same size TV which gives more or less the exact same picture quality when it comes to 4K or dolby vision content. The C3 has better upscaling for non 4K content but i dont think thats enough to be worth the markup.
I have a question. I just bought the 48 inch c3 and i was wondering when you were gaming did you have dolby vision on vivd also? I have the xbox series x
Steve need a little guidance. I'm torn between an lg c3 65" or a hisense u8k 75". They are the same price at the moment. I'd mainly be using it for gaming on my ps 5. Netflix, prime and Disney plus. Mostly gaming though. It will be in a decently lit living room. Any recommendation on which to purchase?
Does using a streaming device with this tv like an Apple tv 4k will elevate my viewing experience? Will it not hamper my lg web os features experience? Will i be able to change picture modes of tv while using Apple TV 4k and sound quality? Does all the changes done in the default tv os will reflect in Apple TV 4k or it will use its own settings.
Everything Apple makes is top notch and it will look cleaner, i use one one my main TV but I use the built in google tv for app that apple doesn’t have. Just change inputs
Looking at this LG. We currently use a Roku to access the Spectrum app to avoid cable boxes. Is it better to have a Samsung OLED with access to the Spectrum app or continue to use the Roku? Seems like you would use a lot of functionality by using the Roku remote instead of the one that comes with the TV.
Hi helpful video. Good work I have a Sony Dolby Atmos Soundbar HT-Z9F. Will the TV speakers work in conjunction with the soundbar if connected thought HDMI eARC 2.1 cable ? Thanks
I am confused between LGC3 and Sony A80L. Please suggest. For use in my living room, it has natural light, and I will be watching mixed content on Tata Sky like News, Tv shows, Sports and OTT content. Viewing distance 8 feet, plan to get 55 inch size. Also, what about Samsung S90C. I'm very confused between these three. Will OLED be safe on Tata Play (Sky) with that logo constantly on screen.
great video getting mine in a few days 65inc C3. The C3 thinness is a blessing ,I have a 65 inc CX now that screen is very thin, have to be very care full how you pick up that TV . Again thanks for the video looking forward for more videos from you. Be Safe.
Yea, Im getting ready to replace my Sony 800h 55inch. Never had much luck with it...The logic board went out and had lines within a year of owning it. Not real impressed with Sony TV's anymore. Im thinking about the 48 inch since it will be going in an office on the wall.
I feel you man, had the same experience with a Samsung once… I think it’s just bad luck if stuff like that happens because my dad bought the exact same tv from the same store and haven’t had a single problem with it in 10 years.
I originally bought the 77in C3 and returned it and got the S90c. C3 and C2 are basically the same besides c3 being 20 percent brighter and few other lil tweaks internally. The 2nd gen Qd tech is def. Superior to Lgs WOLED non Mla tech. Hope this helps. 77in is what I went with.
Hi Steve. May I ask what can be played via a usb stick plugged into the usb connections? For example, if I have say a 4K Dolby Atmos video file MKV on the stick, will the TV play it OK? Thank you.
I recently got the Samsung Qn90c Neo Qled. Was thinking of returning it and getting the LG C3. I mainly game, watch RUclips and Netflix. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated. Dont have too long to return it.
Question if i bought the LG C3 Oled and samsung sound bar , does turning on/off AI sound affect anything? i'm assuming the sound will just play from the soundbar since they are not of the same brand (not having Q symphony/WOW orchestra)
I've decided my next TV is going to be an OLED and I'm trying to decide between this and the Sony A80L. It seems to me they're so similar in picture quality that I might as well just go to the store and close my eyes and point to one. I guess I'm slightly leaning toward the Sony because of their reputation for upscaling and motion.
Hey TechSteve, thank for your video! If you know how does LG 83" C3 compares to Samsung 83" S90C TV? Both are WOLEDs but I cannot find anywhere the difference in screen quality and performance (blu ray does not matter). Thanks!

If you want a smaller screen than yes
I have a question. I just bought the 48 inch c3 and i was wondering when you were gaming did you have dolby vision on vivd also? I have the xbox series x
Link to led backlight to tv that responds to sound?
I use a C3 as a PC monitor...love it
Steve need a little guidance.
I think the C3 picture is better. I just got the C3 myself.
Bigger is always better
@@o.c.g.m9426 yes sir. Why I got the 77" s90c for $1999 😁
Even when there is a difference quality. I ask because I am debating between this and a TCL 8MQ. @@o.c.g.m9426
How would this compare to the Lg 4k quantum dot NanoCell tv?
You got the optimal settings on this one?
As long as it’s the 4k Roku version it’s faster
Whats it like for using my macbook pro. is it almost as good as a monitor?
Is this better than a Samsung 50 inch 2024 QN90D tv? Thanks. I’m considering one of the two.
Hi helpful video. Good work
I have a Sony Dolby Atmos Soundbar HT-Z9F.
Be Safe.
You’re welcome and congratulations
Yea, Im getting ready to replace my Sony 800h 55inch. Never had much luck with it...The logic board went out and had lines within a year of owning it. Not real impressed with Sony TV's anymore. Im thinking about the 48 inch since it will be going in an office on the wall.
I feel you man, had the same experience with a Samsung once… I think it’s just bad luck if stuff like that happens because my dad bought the exact same tv from the same store and haven’t had a single problem with it in 10 years.
What’s the deal with the pinkish hue? I have it on the left side of my 65” C3.
whats the main diff between this and the previous model? i see best buy has a great deal goin on the A2? $549 regular 1199,
Are you able to stream nivid shield on this tv
Need Help please should i do a 75" mini led u8/qm8 or 65" oled s90c or LG c3 very close in price over all thanks every one and great review
Get the s90c
I'm planning to get a C3 in the next few days...I mostly watch Football (a.k.a. soccer), TV series and Documentaries, will the C3 suit me?
Steve, what are your thoughts between LG C3 vs Samsung S89c?
Hi Steve. May I ask what can be played via a usb stick plugged into the usb connections? For example, if I have say a 4K Dolby Atmos video file MKV on the stick, will the TV play it OK? Thank you.
Yes!
Unless you use a lg soundbar you only have the sound effect that the Samsung has
Is it compatible with LG Magic Remotes from 2020 and before?
I would think so Bob but I don’t know anyone who would have test that
C1 still going strong til this day no burn in or anything
Why are the bezels not the same size on left and right side? Right appears thicker.
Does this tv have the arc hdmi output/input i use a stereo receiver i believe it needs that.
Do you usually keep content match off on apple tv?
Yes with HDR turned off
Wich one is better oled evo or neo qled
I dont know wich one i ill buy
deo you know if the 48 inch version is still crap like the c2 48 inch
Is better this LG or the SONY a90k? For film and gaming
Get the c3 they sell the most panels for a reason.
Hey TechSteve, thank for your video! If you know how does LG 83" C3 compares to Samsung 83" S90C TV? Both are WOLEDs but I cannot find anywhere the difference in screen quality and performance (blu ray does not matter). Thanks!
Is the c3 better than the b4
Is any difference between a 48-in or a 55 inch I got a ping from a reviewer that brightness of 55 inch other models is better?
The brightness is lower on the 42 and 48 inches
My 60 inch LG TV is 11 years old and still has a perfect bright picture. Is it really worth upgrading to this G3 TV? I would love to have the 83 inch.
You just have to go for it and see
