I wrote this with my brother Randy. Randy sang the verses, and El took the hook 😊 Love the reaction!
You and your family are amazing! Still love you all!
DeBarge is one of the best R&B groups of all time! You were my first crush Bunny! Still love your whole family!
Your music will always be a part of my personal soundtrack. The sound of Angels...✨🙏🏼🤗🥰
Thank You All So Much.
Love you group and Switch too. Love all of you.
Saw you and your family in Cleveland in 1984 with Luther Vandross and I think Angela Bofill, The show was Amazing! I wore my Bunny Debarge pin on my jacket or my hat for over a year ✌🏽👍🏽🤎
Even before Debarge their older brothers had a group called “Switch” and they had hits like “I Call Your Name”, you should also look into their careers and struggles one of the most RIDICULOUSLY talented families of all time that was plagued with problems their entire career
This is what I was going to say. You should listen to "I Call Your Name." I love that song.
Bobby and Tommy Debarge started the legacy in the group SWITCH. Bobby's voice went up even higher than El's. "There'll Never Be", and "I Call Your Name" were their hits. My favorite song from the younger DeBarge's was "A Dream" . Bunny sang lead on that one and she crushed it! Many of their songs have been sampled by hip hop and R&B artists
Yes!!! Switch was the bomb!!! Now their jams were amazing!!! I listened to Switch. Not Debarge so much because Switches slows jams were in a class of their own! “I Call Your Name”!! and “There’ll Never Be” yes.
“I Wanna Be Closer,” “Calling All Girls” are favorites of mine. And, there’s also a song, “Don’t Let Me Go,” a pre Switch song by Bobby Debarge.
Yes
Just love when youngins finally hear our music
DeBarge was very underrated. They had a lot of good songs, even El DeBarge had some good solo hits.
Agreed but not underrated. They were always held in very high regard. They just might not have received the fame that was due but to those in the know they were fantastic.
Their song "Rhythm of the Night" was a huge hit and my favorite! So fun and catchy.
Thanks for leaving this comment. I knew I've heard of this band before, I just couldn't put my finger on what hit song was associated with them. As soon as I read that, it instantly popped back into my head.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was an El DeBarge solo song. Just to clarify in case they go looking for it
@@missliss2581able It was the name of and on DeBarge's 4th studio album, so I think they can find it either way.
Agreed! I heard it in the store the other day... Stunned I still knew the lyrics as if I were 10 years old again... Love that song!
Another great musical family! The original group consisted of siblings Eldra (known as "El"), Mark, Randy, and Bunny. Their brother James joined after their first album. A sixth sibling, Chico, joined later on after Bunny and El left the group. This was their first big hit, but by no means their last. "All This Love", "Time Will Reveal", "Who's Holding Donna Now", and "You Wear It Well" were all great 80s hits. Perhaps their best-known songs is "Rhythm of the Night". You should also check out a great solo hit by El DeBarge, "Who's Johnny?" which was featured in the awesome 80s movie Short Circuit. And if you want ANOTHER "family" group from the 80s, check out Levert (which included brothers Sean and Gerald Levert, son of Eddie Levert of The O'Jays). They had a MONSTER R&B song called "Casanova".
Didn't they have an Older Brother Who was in a Group that had a Hit Song.
@@lusciousmayweather8385 There were 2 older brothers in the group Switch.
@@Mtc0nqr3r Yes, Switch with Tommy and Bobby came out first. It was the success of Switch, that made the rest of the DeBarges create their own group.
Debarge was huge! They had two older brothers who was part of the popular successful group Switch that were founded by Jermaine Jackson. The lead singer with high falsetto is El Debarge. They wrote and arranged all their music and yes many Hip Hop artists have sampled on several of songs.
Bobby DeBarge was the lead singer of the group Switch along with brother Tommy. He was the eldest brother and he and El sounded so much alike. RIP Bobby & Tommy.🙏🏿🙏🏿
El is not the lead singer on this song It's Randy first then El
El used to say that it was his opinion Bobby was the better singer.
Hi Rob & Amber! Absolutely loving you two and your RUclips reactions. Amber - love the variety of your hair styles!! My submission is for SWITCH. And, I provided three songs for you! See what I did there?!? Lol

The Chorus and hook from this song have been used tons of songs, it’s everywhere. In fact, a lot of DeBarge’s music has been sampled in hip hop and r&b. 😄
It was sampled in Rump Shaker
They too young to know the whole story.
Nelly song too
@@2handle.Thats literally what catch my ear. "In the I like it come on and enjoy it..." I was like wait a goddamn minute ,it sound more than familiar😅
One of the members of the group, James DeBarge, was briefly married to Janet Jackson. And yes, there were a lot of comparisons to the Jackson family. It didn't help that both families rocked the jheri curl. They had a bunch of hits in the 80's. "Rhythm of the Night" was their biggest hit. Their other big hits were "Time Will Reveal" "Whose Holding Donna Now" and "All This Love"
James has the ponytail
The DeBarges didn't have jheri curls, they had a white father
The DeBarges didn't have jheri curls. What they had was not considered jheri curls. In order to create the look of a jheri curl required certain hair products. The DeBarges naturally had a certain hair type due to their mixed heritage.
Jermaine Jackson was partially responsible for bringing the family to Motown records.
"All This Love" really Shows off El Debarge's Vocals. It was a Huge Hit! "Rhythm Of The Night" was One of the Greatest Hits in the 80's and has a Fun Sound. Another Song that got alot of Radio Airplay was "Who's Holding Donna Now? ". Y'all will Enjoy All 3 of these for the Sound and Experience that each provides. After hearing all of these, You'll be Debarge Fans Forever! Enjoy!!!
All This Love is beautiful and haunting.
You forgot special way... also they have to hear El now still hitting those notes.
Did you also know that the first half of the song wasn’t El DeBarge? It was his brother
@@miguelsantoyo2194Exactly it was Randy
Sandly 'Who's Holding Donna Now?" which is one of my favorites DeBarge song's was a NOT a group but El doing it solo and diana Warren singing backup
I miss that smooth falsetto singing voice. No one does it like that anymore.
The Debarge’s grew up with the Jackson’s…They said they used to play softball with the Jackson’s all the time and the Jackson’s liked and wanted to fight all the time.😂😂😂 El Debarge is the lead and fantastic singer/songwriter. El works that falsetto like his older brother, Bobby, who was lead singer for a group called Switch…Check out the video of “They’ll Never Be” by Switch and “All This Love” by Debarge.
Another "family band" to check out is "The Jets". Their lead singer was one of the sisters, Elizabeth. They had some pretty solid hits like "You've Got It All", "Crush on You", and "Make It Real".
Tongan-American family from Minnesota. Loved them in the 80’s
@@tarcisioreynes5054 You are so right. They were great.
That's right you need to listen to the Jets you can't go wrong you'll love this band trust me
Elizabeth was 12 when they recorded their big hits - her mature voice was pure and silky.
“Curiosity” by The Jets is straight up Prince/Paisley Park/Jerome/Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis/Minneapolis funk
Glad ya’ll went with “I Like It” first. If you ask me-that sets the tone for Debarge! You GOTTA dive into their catalog! Their album “In a Special Way” was fire. Check out “A Dream” and “Stay With Me”-both sampled a buncha times.
Couldn't agree more. FINALLY! So glad they discovered this group. Not only should they listen to your suggestions of songs, they should listen to the group Switch, who had two more DeBarge siblings Bobby and Tommy DeBarge. Talk about falsetto. Suggest songs "I call your name" and " Love me over again".
Thank you 😊
@@bunnydebargeofficial No. Thank you and your family for being part of the soundtrack of our lives. Blessings to you in Christ!
YES, Debarge was BIG in the 80's.
Debarge should be on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame💞💞💞💞💞💞🎵🎶🎤
Absolutely!
There are a lot of family groups out the same time and a little after the Jackson family.
The Slyvers- From a family of 10 kids , but only 9 of the were in the band. The oldest sister left the band before most of the younger family members joined. They had hit like "Hotline" Boogie Fever.
The Osmonds - From a family of 9 kids. The older to boy in the family were both born with hearing problems. So the four boys after them became a singing group. The older that got their little brother Donny join the group and it was like the had their one Michael in him. Later Donny and their only sister Marie would become a duo . The also had a younger brother Jimmy the did some acting and singing just like Janet.
The DeBarges also have two older brothers in a band called SWITCH.
Please, please, please react to all the groups mentioned here...You won't be disappointed!
The Sylvers albums before Boogie Fever were good as well. Also, Leon Sylvers work on Solar Records was great too.
The Sylvers were very talented as well. Yes! Leon is still out there producing and writing. He is so talented. And he is fine! So attractive...he ages like fine wine.
Another great 80's group.. you "have" to listen to All This Love..one of my all time favorite DeBarge songs!❤️❤️
That's one of my favorites by them.
🔥
DeBarge was huge, and El (with the falsetto) is iconic! All the girls loved him. Check out his solo stuff too. Believe it or not, he’s about 60 now and sounds the same!
The falsetto is by El DeBarge. The older brothers were in a group called Switch. Check out Switch - 'I call you name' or "They'll Never BE'
That falsetto in the first part of the song is Randy. El comes in with I like the way you comb your hair.
OMG DeBarge was HUGE in the 80s!!! You're going to love diving into DeBarge. When I hear them, it just takes me back... good times!
Also Switch, which had DeBarge brothers Bobby and Tommy, same kind of groove but Switch came a little earlier. "I Call Your Name" is a must listen to.
they need to do more!
YAAAASSSSSSSSS! You guys have FINALLY discovered the group DeBARGE...and more importantly the LEAD singer EL DeBarge. They are a family band consisting of EL and Bunny (sitting). At the top from left to right James, Randy and Mark. You MUST go down the rabbit hole. They have some classics as far as I'm concerned. ALL THIS LOVE, TIME WILL REVEAL, RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT, A DREAM, LOVE ME IN A SPECIAL WAY etc. I cannot wait for the next reaction.
Actually Randy led on this one...El is doing the 2nd Solo vocals (I like the way you comb your hair etc)
@@MrJnx713 You're right. El hitting the high notes but Randy starting it off.
Switch- There’ll Never Be; I Call Your Name; Love Over And Over Again; My Friend In The Sky
The DeBarges are one of the greatest songwriters, produces and performers to have ever done it! Their music is so darn special to all who grew up listening to them, and their music stands the test of time too. Do yourselves a favor and react to more of their music! Some suggested hits:
"All This Love"
"Stay With Me"
"Time Will Reveal"
"Love Me In a Special Way"
"A Dream"
"You Wear It Well"
"Rhythm of the Night"
These are all great hit songs!!! :)
I'm so glad you reacted to Debarge. One of my favorite bands in the 80's.
Rhythm of the Night and who's holding Donna now are great songs by Debarge. Another family from this genre I love is Soul to Soul ,their song Back to life is one of my favs.
Soul II Soul isn't a family they are a music collective. you should have mentioned The Pointer Sisters or 3T you know ACTUAL families in musical groups.
Who’s Holding Donna Now is a very special song for me!
"Love me in a special way" it's also a smash hit and many other songs
All This Love is another MUST listen to!
You're probably thinking of "Rump Shaker" by Wreckx-N-Effect. Teddy Riley paid homage to Debarge by including those lines in his verse.✌😎💛
The lyrics were also in Nelly's song Ride Wit Me
They were also used in Beyonce's song That's How You Like It
Teddy also used it on GUY albums as well.
Fun fact : Janet Jackson was married to James Debarge from 1984 to 85 !
Think longer actually... To '90
So much fun to watch you guys discover Debarge.
Amber's little smile and those dimples say everything! 😍 Rob is grooving out. Take me back to the 80s please.. You two are adorable! This world needs more young people like you two!! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤ and keep listening to real music 🎶 🎵
Yes!!! You finally got around to this group. Yes... a babymaker back in the day. They had a string of hits. I only wish this group had stuck around longer. El Debarge's vocals are unmatched to this day. Stack his falsetto against anyone and see who's left standing.
Nelly used those lyrics in Ride Wit Me. And yes, definitely took from Debarge. Another family group you should give a listen to is The Jets. Crush on You, Anytime, Rocket 2 U, Private Number, Make It Real, You Got It All, and All Over Him.
Those lyrics are also in Rump Shaker by Wreckx N Effect.
I'm enjoying so much watching you two enjoy this song. It's funny and great all at the same time. I grew up listening to DeBarge, the Jackson 5 and the Sylvers. Their songs All This Love and Love Me In A Special Way, just to name a few, are also great!! Enjoyed your Show! 😎👍😂
El De Bebarge still has his signature smooth falsetto - he's still dropping records to this day - 80's memories right there.
Another family act that was good-The Jetts.
Yes Debarge are all Siblings. Their older brother Bobby sang in the group Switch. Their harmonies always make me smile. Listen to Rhythm of the Night" which is a little more upbeat. And "Love Me in a Special Way"
Switch had a great sound and I still listen to them.
Bobby _and_ Tommy Debarge were members of *Switch* .
That FALSETTO MAKE YOUR HEART ❤️ DROP!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You guys should listen to DeBarge all this love
Rhythm of the night was a huge hit song for them. Michael Jackson himself said he was a fan of their music. Guys can you please react to Extreme- More Than Words, you will love this song.
A great suggestion... love "More than words"!
For Female Friday:
Ronnie Spector - ‘Be My Baby’
Bette Midler - ‘From a Distance’
Toni Braxton - ‘Un-Break My Heart’
Roberta Flack - ‘First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’
Other notables:
Christopher Cross - ‘Sailing,’
Kayne Brown - ‘Worship You,’
Kool and The Gang - ‘Celebration,’
Dan Fogelberg - ‘Same Old Lang Syne’
Luther Vandross - ‘Dance With My Father’
Unbreak my heart, excellent !!
Bette Midler - The Rose
They wrote the song themselves. And the line "I must Confess it girl" shows how they had their roots in the church. Which was the one thing their mom was able to give them - - because their younger lives were like hell. Thank God they had their Faith to fall back on.
All this love , who's holding Donna now,A dream, Rhythm of the night ,stay with me,you wear it well all are great songs by Debarge you will definitely love it classic song's
El DeBarge is like Barry Gibb in that he can go from his normal voice to falsetto, FLAWLESSLY! I just read the book by the sister, Bunny……very traumatic childhood…….But their music is incredible!🥰🥰🥰
Yes, that family's story is incredibly sad. So ironic. The music is so beautiful.
Traumatic adulthood too - - Addiction went thru that family like a brushfire.
@@you2449 Yes, and so understandable given what they went through as children.
The Debarge siblings suffered catastrophic physical and sexual abuse from their mentally unstable father and a mother who ignored it. They are so talented and beautiful it breaks my heart that they struggled from addiction and other mental issues due to their childhood. 😔😔😔
Only difference between the two El Debarge can still hit those high notes now. check him out on tiny desk concert on RUclips you'll see for yourself.
Whose Holding Donna Now Is another awesome song by them.
The groups eldest brother Bobby was the lead singer another Motown group called Switch. Bobby sounded so much similar to El. In fact, El credited Bobby for influencing his falsetto style. RIP Bobby.
And the second oldest Tommy was in Switch as well RIP to both😢
today is 3/8/2024 and I have not heard or seen you guys react to another DeBarge song, "Time will reveal" is another great song , " Love me in a special way" is another, "All this love" another great song, come on guys another DeBarge please
El Debarge is an incredible singer. The guy's in his late 50's, maybe even 60 now, and he's still singing like he was 20.
Just turned 60 and you're right he still singing like he's 20
He's 62 now and he still sounds the same
It's Randy and El singing
"OMG"...🔥"DEBARGE!"🔥..You Two Have Got To Listen To More and More Of DeBarge!!..They Are A Really Great Family Group..And They Have Two Older Brothers In A Group Called "SWITCH."(just an fyi)..This Was A Great Pick.👍🏿👍🏿
Wow great song beautifuly sung makes you feel so good and happy .Wishing I could hear more of this group ☀️☀️💥🔥🎻🎸🎷🎺🥁🪕🎹🎸👏🥇
Amber, the old school falsetto group to check out is The Stylistics, 'You Make Me Feel Brand New' by them is a soul classic that influenced countless groups, they were amazing.
DeBarge brings to mind a group about that same period called "The Jets". Kinda that same vibe and lots of dancing in the videos. "Make It Real" and "You've Got It All"
Yes, “The Jets” were another one of my favorite sibling singing groups.
Now you're getting into some great falsettos. El DeBarge is probably the 2nd greatest falsetto on the Motown label (yes IMO better than Smokey). DeBarge is a really good to great 80s to 90s group.
HOWEVER . . .
They got their start based on big brother Bobby, who was in another Motown group called "Switch" along with brother Tommy (from the mid/late 70s). If you're going to drill down into DeBarge, you also have to listen to Switch songs, if for no other reason than to compare Bobby (higher notes) and El (broader range):
- I Call Your Name
* There'll Never Be (Amber: You will LOVE the intro to this song.)
- Love Me Over Again
Additionally, El DeBarge did some solo albums but he's also known for being featured on a Quincy Jones song, "The Secret Garden", that has Barry White, James Ingram, Al B. Sure in addition to El DeBarge.
Sidenote: James Ingram's brother was also a member of Switch.
There was a recent documentary on the DeBarge family (lots of chaos/drama).
With that said, based on ability to hit the high notes, Bobby and El are 2 of the best falsettos ever (any genre or time within the modern rock/soul/R&B era).
Now you're getting to the good part with the falsettos: (In no particular order)
DeBarge brothers
Johnny Wilder, Jr (Heatwave)
Phillip Bailey (Earth Wind & Fire and Phil Collins band)
Russell Thompkins, Jr (Stylistics)
Blue Magic
Chi-Lites
Ronald Isley (Isley Brothers - also known as Mr. Big in recent songs)
Smokey
***Marvin Gaye had a pretty good falsetto - just sayin'
The Everly Brothers
Aaron Neville and the Neville Brothers (also performed an amazing duet with Linda Ronstadt)
Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons
Brothers Gibb
Johnny Mathis
Little Anthony & the Imperials
Eddie Kendricks (Temptations)
Curtis Mayfield (Impressions)
Delfonics
Dramatics
The Moments (also known in the 80s as "Ray, Goodman & Brown")
Enchantment
Beach Boys
Manhattans
Jan & Dean
The Dells
...so, so many more. Amber, you should really ask your folks about them.
You have so much good music to explore. Enjoy your journey.
Hey that's a great list of falsettos!
Wow, can’t believe you left out Prince… 🤦🏾♂️
@@Lovejazz01 Yes, he deserves a place on this list. Brain fart or Alzheimer's; your choice.
👏👏👏
It's Randy and El singing
This group is a classic! Love El DeBarge s voice.. ❤❤. Bunny wrote what women wants to hear!!
I've watched your video more than 3 times now. I love your response to El's voice. I get chills just listening to him sing...those high notes are butter! I am sure I will watch your video again.
Like butter ...and I melt🤗
El DeBarge vocals appear on some of the best ballads of all time. Many songs are mentioned in the comments. I want to highlight the genius of Quincy Jones who brought together some of the best R&B voices in the song, "The Secret Garden", Barry White, James Ingram, El DeBarge and Al B. Sure.
That version of "The Secret Garden" was a serious baby making song.
Yes, El made 12 himself💋
Give Randy his flowers He starts off the song
You gotta do "all this love" , another top tier Debarge song. The old school has a lot of hidden 🔥 gems, baby making music fo sho!
For the record: "The lead singer" was actually two different people. First was Randy DeBarge, followed by his slightly more vocally-blessed brother El DeBarge (who went on to become a solo artist in his own right).
Falsetto! The song A deam! Is another beauty of theirs.
I used to listen to the radio on my walkman when I rode the bus to high school. One morning I this song came on and I started singing. The 2 girls sitting behind me ripped my headphones off so fast they damn near broke them, but they just had to listen.
Time Will Reveal and All This Love are two other songs by them you should listen to. DeBarge was really big in the early to mid 80's, but unfortunately drugs did in many in the family. The lead singer El DeBarge did have a nice solo career, before drugs eventually caught up to him. He did a 2 year stint in for drugs. He almost relapsed after he got out but 50 Cent and Babyface stepped in and got him the treatment he needed. He's been clean since.
It's also funny that you mentioned the Jacksons because there is a connection. James DeBarge and Janet Jackson secretly eloped in the mid 80's. Their marriage didn't last long however because Janet couldn't deal with his drug habit.
El Debarge was the lead on this one. The one in front with the curl on the forehead❤️ check out Time Will Reveal and All This Love by Debarge. You’ll love them both!!
"Time Will Reveal" STILL makes me scream!
I was just about to comment again with those 2 songs... I really hope they play Switch There'll never be and I call your name... J will go crazy because it so similar but with a band. 2 of Debarge's Brothers.
I believe that Mark DeBarge was the lead singer on this one along with El
@@derrickdickerson4193 My bad, you’re right. But it’s definitely El on those high falsettos.
@@googlek1 I don’t know if they’re ready for Bobby😂

The DeBarge family were a 1980s group who release some really beautiful music… All This Love is one of my favorites. The group consists of Brothers: Randy, James, El, Chico, Mark, Bobby, Tommy and Sister: Bunny.
Just a correction: Bobby, Tommy, and Chico were never a part of the "Debarge" group. Bobby and Tommy were in Switch which preceded the family group. Chico was never officially in "Debarge". He helped El write some songs. He did have his solo career though.

Listen your reactions this video is exactly what it should be! This band is amazing, but El DeBarge is beyond amazing!!
They were discovered by Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5 back in the late 70's and were also at Motown. Another family group from that period who were very good was the Sylvers.
“Time Will Reveal” is my favorite DeBarge hit!
They were awesome but also try their older brothers band Switch - I call your name! 1979 #8 R&B
Debarge group songs were heavenly sampled by alot of rappers in the 90' s and 2000's. There are an awesome family group of brothers and sisters. Very talented family that wrote and song .
YAAASSSSSS,THIS GROUP CAN BLOW………CAN’T GO WRONG WITH 80s 🎶
Now you know! Go on down that rabbit hole my young connoisseurs of music 👍🤣 love you two 💕
Love me in a special way-Debarge

Ok, that's it. Now you HAVE to listen to The Sylvers.
Try to find a live performance of *"Boogie Fever"*

Thank you Jay. Because I was thinking the same thing. How could Amber not know them. She always talks about listening to music in the car with her mom. I know this was playing back then
I discovered this song last year, been completely obsessed and now found this. How cool is it ayy
Ah, you got to my song request. Thanks! Gotta love DeBarge! Amber looked like El was singing right to her.
How about some early New Edition? The girls will love them. "Candy Girl" and "Is This the End?" are old school favorites.
I love them. 💕. Try “ All This Love “ great song.
I suggested this one. Yay
“Time Will Reveal” is my all time favorite song from DeBarge. El DeBarge hits a note at the end of the song, that will curl your toes! A number of rappers sampled “A Dream” from DeBarge with their sister Bunny on lead vocals.
I absolutely love all of their music, even turned my kids onto their songs.
The sylvers, another family group. Sister Sledge, another family group.
El DeBarge is the lead singer..the lady of the group is Bunny DeBarge. And the others are James,Mark And Randy DeBarge....The Two Older Brothers Were In An Group Called SWITCH. Tommy and Bobby DeBarge. They had a few good hits also.
Randy sang the beginning and El takes over the I like the way you comb your hair part.
Tell you what! By the smile and sway of Amber, if you two didn’t already have little Luca I guarantee there would be a little one coming after this reaction listen!!!! 😂👍🏽
One of top groups of the 80$. One of my all time faves
Debarge -all this love . Is a great song
Yes "All this love " maybe the best of all Debarge songs and "Time will Reveal" maybe second.
DeBarge just makes you all Melty!!!! 🔥🔥🥰🤘
Time Will Reveal and Stay With Me.... These songs by them are so smooth! El Debarge is the real deal!
The Jets is another Family Group you would enjoy. One upbeat song, Crush on You. On another note, for a love song listen to, You’ve Got It All.
Some 80s recommendations for Female Friday - Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Can You Feel the Beat, I Wonder If I Take You Home, All Cried Out, Lost in Emotion, or Head to Toe Or the group Expose, Seasons Change, Let Me Be the One, or Come Go With Me.
the next must be Rhythm of the night and All this love!!! Pearls of DeBarge!!! Hugs from Brazil!!!
This was a truly great video reaction. Wonderful song; wonderful reaction.
That was whistle pitch. That goes even higher than falsetto. Minnie Riperton is the queen of whistle pitch. Don't let Mariah Carey fool you.

In secular music it's Betty Wright and Phillip Bailey for men from EWF.
A Dream, Who's Holding Donna Now, Love Me In A Special Way and Rhythm Of The Night are all bangers by DeBarge. Also check out the group Switch which had the two oldest DeBarge Brothers: Bobby and Tommy DeBarge!
Some other great songs from DeBarge are Time Will Reveal, All This Love, Love Me In A Special Way, and Who's Holding Donna Now.
Bobby DeBarge (El’s big brother) started group Switch. Must listen to There’ll Never Be!
