09/20/2020: Mowed the lawn yesterday. It's finally cool in Fort Worth. Definitely like riding and not pushing a mower. I still use the push mower to get into tight spots. I estimate 90% riding and 10% pushing. Less shoulder pain for this 67 year old.
JM, you're going to love it. I'm 68 and my wife got me one two years ago when I retired. I did get a rubber tube to make the oil changes much simpler and less messy. If you're interested, just reply and I'll look up the link again from Amazon where I bought it. I think it was a 3/8" fitting. Loved your angled titles with shadows on an invisible plane. Very clever. What did you use to edit it and the two track audio was superb. Our Cub fits in the garage too with two cars. It's the main reason also why we went for the 30". Two years later and I still love it when I crank her up. I saw a Troybuilt Lithium version of it today at Lowes. Twice the price. I like the sound of the engine and the fatter wallet.
Dare to dream. An EV riding mower. I owned an electric rechargable push mower. Too bad it was low powered. The motor died after 3 yesrs. I hope "any" expensive EV riding mower has a 5 year warranty.
It will be fun the first couple times you use it but then it becomes work again. Of course, you will find it is much faster than a push mower. Have fun.
My shoulders feel a lot better already from not having to push a mower for two hours. Mowing made this 68 year old dude grimace. Now, I can ride my bike and not feel I have to stop after a half a mile. A definite improvement.
No major issues. It's due an oil change soon. The plastic shroud is poorly attached (mine broke after I leaned on it). Hasn't fallen off. Gotta to be careful not to scalp the lawn when taking sharp turns. Motor runs smooth. Battery died. I have to jump start it. So far, so good.
They keep updating the model ours we got 2018 home depot. Our battery is on the left side. Have to replace battery this year. It worked well but forgot to disconnect it in winter. Expired 2019...prob can charge it. I don't know.
Time marches on. Yes, you can get another battery for under $50. Buy a $30 trickle charger while you're at it. A small one should do. That'll keep your batteries perfect!

Jesus! You have a real unique tempo, voice in this video that is reminiscent (to me) of a popular comedic segment from the Red Green

There's a setting where the key goes in that will leave the blades turning when you back up
Didn't know that.
How has your cub cadet worked out for you so far? We just ordered one for the same reasons as you. Just wondering.

2021 models of the CC30H have a Briggs and Stratton engine. Some previous models an MTD.

Amazing, but true.

Man... $1499. I wish I could get it at that price.
Why don’t you put the lawn mower in the outside Utility house. Your in Texas like my self that be in the way.
What utility house?
How do you change the oil? Where is the drain? Video?
Come next season, I will give the beast it's first oil and filter change.
Mine is brand new but will not start
Contact the manufacturer. It's under warrantly. Are the battery cables connected.?
Discontinued now.
i think its still in production, theres like 40 of them in my dealer
Check home depot app- discontinued
then idk, theres like tons of them in my dealer
they are avaliable on cub cadets website
Could be what's leftover. Looks like it's out of production.
