The color of paint in galaxy’s edge is also a little darker here to compensate for the Florida sun and rain while California has a more lighter earth tone to better fit in with their climate. It’s a very subtle thing but we do have a slightly different layout that’s about it.

Also, Tim, it was amazing seeing you in the park, it made my trip. Your videos are the reason I am currently in Disney World. It was like a rare unicorn sighting seeing you. Sorry I was too shy to say this in person.
Place was empty while I was there last week. Was nice. All four parks were fairly empty. I mean Ohana and Le Cellier had walk in reservations available and Peter Pan’s flight only had a 20 minute wait time!!
Tim, your story reminds me of a time I rode ToT and little boy rode it too. He made it through the ride and looked ok. His parents asked him what he thought. He said it was scary. They asked if he wanted to ride it again and he said no. He never cried or anything. Took it like a champ.
I just went to Galaxy’s edge after waiting all summer. I WAS BLOWN AWAY. I loved the detail. All the fun mountains. The blue milk was AWESOME. Smugglers run was amazing. I didn’t get to explore it all though but next time. ITS ALL GETTING EXPLORED!!!
I feel like disney should add an extra seat in smuggler's run somewhere in the middle or something for the people that don't want to participate or anything, just there to experience the ride
Thanks for the update! Another difference between building one or buying one pre-built is they do not give annual pass discounts on building one because that’s an “experience” and you do receive 20% off the pre-built ones... at least that’s how it is here at Disneyland.

Last time I rode Tower of Terror, there was a little boy. He was definitely scared, but very quiet. When it was over he said to his parents, "That was NOT my favorite ride". So cute.

When I was on smugglers run at Disneyland, half way through the ride the screen completely stopped moving and glitched lol. It went back but it was weird.
@@masonmartineau2304 yeah but still it is technology and these things happen all the time. plus its a new ride so glitches and the ride breaking down is normal.
We just got home from Disney World. First time going to all the parks. The extra extra magic hours for Hollywood studios was awesome. We have a baby so we had to single rider and I was the only one in the single rider line so I walked right on. It was awesome! Same for rockin roller coaster. And we are at that exact same Xwing table!
My Dad and I were there that morning! The longest we waited in the regular line for Smugglers Run was half an hour and we rode it twice while I was waiting for my reservation to build a droid. When we got in line for the Tower of Terror it’s wait time was 13 minutes, lol.
First I'd like to say it was a pleasure meeting you two Thursday night at the Monster Cafe character dinner at Universal (I was ahead of you in the buffet line). I was at Hollywood Studios yesterday and I was amazed at the detail in Galaxy's Edge. I bought a bottle of Sprite from one of the carts and the bottle is really cool, though on the pricey side ($6 a bottle). The ride was good, but being a Gunner, I missed a lot of the forward action because I was looking at the gunner screen to shoot. It did rain for a little while but it didn't bother me. Tower of Terror is probably my favorite ride in all of the parks, and Sci Fi Cafe was a great choice for dinner.
The line was 55 mins for smugglers run on a Saturday at 6pm. Pandora’s Flight of Passage is 110 mins. That tells you everything about how much people aren’t really interested in Galaxy's edge

Galaxy's Edge was NOT crowded when I went the weekend after the hurricane, lol. Best time to do Disney is right after a storm. People had cancelled their trips and ride times were down. The ride in Galaxy's Edge was only 50 minutes which I thought was pretty good. It looks like that tropical storm, the disturbance/depression, is moving away from us here in Florida and I'm glad because I'm going to Epcot tomorrow for the Pokemon Go event AND the Food and Wine Festival. Thank you for yesterday's video on the changes happening in Epcot. Now I know what to expect tomorrow with the construction! ☺️

Hi Tim, just wanted to let you no the " wing table " is from back in the Star Wars Weekend Days parade , there are only two of these Wings , one in Galaxy`s Edge Disneyland & one in Galaxy`s Edge WDW they are from the parade X-Wing fighter that pilot MICKEY road down the Blvd. They cut up the x-wing and scrapped most of it but added the wings for posterity in each park.
We went to Orlando Hollywood Studios last week and on Monday it had a 60 min. wait midday...up to a 80 min wait in the afternoon. HOWEVER, we went back at night, tried the SINGLE RIDERS LINE (3 of us) to the left, and while they can'/t guarantee that you'll all ride together, AND you can't choose a role (Pilot, Gunner, or engineer), we got to all three ride on the same Falcom 3X, due to those waiting in the long lines wanting to all be pilots! OUR LINE WAIT TIME? About 5 minutes per ride!

We were just there on Monday and those big electronic signs weren't there. In fact, the signage for Star Wars Galaxy's Edge was almost nonexistent. We had to ask about 10 CMs how to get to Oga's Cantina. If they aren't going to put directional signs or building names in English throughout Batuu, then they should use a color-coded system on the handout maps and put that color up on the wall of the store to help identify it.
So jealous at so few people there. My daughter and I were at Disneyland Aug. 6 and 7 and it was all over the park, all day (even at rope drop, and even late at night). I'd thought that waiting more than a month after GE opened would mean lower numbers, but I guess everyone went there right before school started, like we did. Still a great time though. Would love to go to WDW, or Disneyland at an "off" time like this. Thanks for posting.

Its partially because Smugglers Run doesn't have fastpass. Fastpass GREATLY increases standby wait

We were just there on Monday and those big electronic signs weren't there. In fact, the signage for Star Wars Galaxy's Edge was almost nonexistent. We had to ask about 10 CMs how to get to Oga's Cantina. If they aren't going to put directional signs or building names in English throughout Batuu, then they should use a color-coded system on the handout maps and put that color up on the wall of the store to help identify it.
So jealous at so few people there. My daughter and I were at Disneyland Aug. 6 and 7 and it was all over the park, all day (even at rope drop, and even late at night). I'd thought that waiting more than a month after GE opened would mean lower numbers, but I guess everyone went there right before school started, like we did. Still a great time though. Would love to go to WDW, or Disneyland at an "off" time like this. Thanks for posting.
