@@michschnitte82 They have 4 maybe 5 different drop sequences. You do not know which one you will get. Since it is random and picked by a computer. I went on it for the first time last year on Oct 23rd. I decided I was finally going to get over my fear of Tower of Terror. I did have luck on my side. I was behind a son who was taking his mother on it for the first time. Somehow fate kept us together. I also got lucky and got the corner seat on the first row. Then the Mom and Son were next to me. To the right when you go in but when you seat down it is on the left side, Well I was relaxed and enjoying the first part, Then when I know it was getting close to the drop shaft I started getting nervous. When the car docked and locked into place. I grabbed onto the handle with both hands and waited for the drop to happen. To ,my surprise we shot upwards first. After about the 3rd drop I relaxed and started to enjoy it. I was almost tempted to join in on the screaming. Then on Nov 4th of last year. Where I think it drops you one more time or maybe shoots you upward one more time then drops you find the finally time.
@@scotthouston4714 So glad you overcame your fear! Sounds like you had a good experience. Since I'm not going to the theme parks so often, they're definitely not predictable for me anyways.
I've seen a lot of characters walking around Galaxy's Edge interacting with guests, the problem is they usually get swarmed with people wanting to take selfies rather than interact like I did with Juan. I've seen Storm Troopers, Kylo, Rey, Chewie, and Vi all out interacting. The only one who doesn't have as much trouble is Vi because she is a lesser known character.
Every single cast member was great with the interaction when I went last week. I was totally immersed. To the point that after I made my lightsaber at Savi’s the guy that did the ceremony was walking past me as I was taking a photo and whispered to me that I needed to be careful waving my saber around as the first order were wandering about! I loved every second of GE. Hoping to pop there again tomorrow before we go home! Thanks for the videos Tim we were hoping our paths would cross but it wasn’t to be xx
I know that this might sound silly, but I'm always so grateful to Tim and his habit of giving wayfinding points in his videos. I can get quite anxious in new places when I don't know where I am or where I'm going, but because of these videos (on my last trip in particular) I didn't get that at all because I knew where stuff was. It's just a little thing but it makes such a big difference. Thank you, Tim!
the Juan Scenario interaction was pure gold! I love how you played off each other! "So...October!" I'm so with you, Tim; any excuse to be more spooky! Great vlog as usual!
I was waiting for that kid to totally lose it on Tower of Terror (not in a good way) after you said they didn’t realize the cars moved forward and then we heard the kid ask “what just happened?!” He sounded totally freaked out. By the end....pretty sure that family has a new favorite ride.
Hidden Easter Eggs: Tim looks at a menu from a non-restaurant. The "Whitefish Matheson" is a tribute to the first non-Serling writer on the Twilight Zone series, Richard Matheson. He wrote such memorable episodes as nightmare at 30,000 feet, but sadly passed away in 2013. The "Rack of Lamb Johnson" is likely a tribute to Russell Johnson, a very frequent actor in the Twilight Zone series (who was also known as the Professor on Gilligan's Island), and sadly passed away in 2014. Polonaise Beaumont is a tribute to Charles Beaumont, another famous writer for the Twilight Zone episodes including Living Doll and Howling Man and sadly passed away in 1967. Lastly "Gateau Chocolate au Rodman" is a tribute the originator of the show, Rodman Edward Serling (Rod Serling).
Went on RUclips to watch the new vlog and there wasn’t one, refreshed it just in case and this was uploaded 1 second ago, I’m so happy right now 😂🎉 Also, “Are these porg eggs? HmmMMMMMM?” Made me laugh too hard 😂
Chewbacca actually is a skilled mechanic. Those stand fans behind Tim while he's eating probably do a good job moving a little air around, but they need to be themed a little better.
I'm surprised at Disney for not making the themed... they may be just a temporary and Disney didn't seem to see the point... if it had of been a permanent thing Disney probably would've hid them in rocks or something

I agree with your comment about Chewbacca. He's a very skilled mechanic; otherwise, no one would be able to fly an old hunk of junk like the Falcon. But the lack of a theme on those ventilation systems doesn't bother me as much. I always expected Galaxy's Edge to be full of huge fans. : )
