Find you a man as consistent and dependable as taylor Wynn. EVERY Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Always. Even during a damn plague, a girl is working...meanwhile I haven't gotten out of sweats in days, lol. love these updates so much , they are so helpful! That's how I fell in love with the no7 drops and most of my fave base products.
I would love to see a second impression on some of the foundations that didn't work when you had oily skin: specifically thinking of the Neutrogena Hydroboost
Oh I would love to see that too because I'm a dry skin girl. I love the hydro boost foundation, it's the first liquid one I've ever finished and repurchased in both my winter and my fake tan summer shade (I usually use bare Minerals original loose powder foundation which oddly enough is beautiful on dry skin). It's definitely more like a tinted moisturizer but it's great for a basic evening out without clinging to anything and then spot conceal where needed. I also have the No7 foundation drops that I'll mix in with it to add coverage when I'm wanting more. I haven't tried the concealer though. The hydro boost gel cream for extra dry skin is a holy grail for me, a little goes a long way and my skin never gets tired of it, it out performs my high end and luxury moisturizers.
You are just the best youtuber ever.. periodttt👏🏻 you show up and consistently bring us awesome content. You tell us what we want to know and keep us updated and you don’t miss a beat even though you have more reason to not show up than most youtubers out there. Just love you to death and I hope you are doing well, I’m constantly sending you good thoughts and well wishes for good health days. 💕
I like that you say “on me” meaning the product didn’t work specifically for you but might work wonders on others. Also love your content you’re one of the only “dry skin” beauty gurus everyone else is like oily
SERIOUSLY. I've been wondering about this for ages. Is it just that oily skin is more common than dry skin? Or is there something about people with dry skin being less likely to wear a lot of makeup, and therefore less likely to become beauty youtubers? Or what? I feel like almost every youtuber who does makeup videos has oily skin, with the exception of like Kathleen Lights (the only one I can think of right now). Taylor and Hailey from Beauty News are both people who used to have oily skin but now have dry skin due to acne treatments, I think, so they're kind of...in between? It makes me feel like I'm abnormal or something (which, to be fair, I am, in so very many ways) that I have super dry, quite pale skin, and basically every foundation in the world looks flaky or cakey or otherwise icky on me.
Safeeya B I think Kelly Gooch, RawBeautyKristi and Jamie Paige maybe have dry skin?...Julia Mazzucato, Porcelain, Laura Lee... I am not 100% sure but these are who I think as dry skin girls. That's totally different subject if any of those fall into the category of people you like (you don't have to say)😳😬 Many have combo skin and that makes it hard to put people into just dry or oily box. Since getting more into skincare, that has greatly reduced my dependance of certain foundation finish...I can just adjust the skincare so that any foundation will work. Before 30s I didn't even put on any skincare before applying a foundation so a lot has changed... Nowadays the skin looks so good with the careful skincare that many times I just can't bring myself to cover it with a foundation🙈
You look gorgeous! (I mean.. As always!) 😄 I swear you are THE most hard working, most informative and most consistent in the beauty community! I hope that you are having less pain and things (health wise) are getting better for you! I have Chronic Pain/health issues and I honestly admire your drive, energy and motivation! ❤️❤️ Always LOVE all your recommendation too! Thank you for all you do!
I really appreciate that you take the time to get back to us about the foundations you have tried. It's nice to know when something isn't working out or is working even better with time.
I found you after someone commented on another channel that you do THE most comprehensive foundation reviews. They were so right, and we are so lucky you are out here doing what you do!
Stellar limitless foundation! I never have seen it until it was on sale at Sephora. It has a natural/radiant finish and lasts all day! I have normal to oily skin and I love this stuff!
I absolutely love the Missha bb cream, looks so natural and I get so many compliments on my skin everytime i wear it and it has 50 spf which is awesome
Im so glad you reviewed and tested the airbrush flawless foundation. I've had it for a few months now and kept going back and forth on whether or not i should return it. Decided to just stick it out and make it work. You're right, its so finicky! I've been mixing it with a pump of my Olay spf 30 moisturizer and have been loving that combo.
Taylor, I've been watching you for years now and you're the ONLY content creator that I know of that's so damn consistent and trustworthy. I've found countless awesome products that I still love even now because of your recommendations. Every time you rave about something, I try to go out and try it almost immediately!
I have oily skin and I absolutely love the Peri Pera foundation! I wore it in eighty degree weather mixed with CYO and set it with urban decay setting spray. It looked like skin with a natural dewy look. I'm obsessed. I can't wait to try some more of your recommendations!
Thanks for the tips on the Charlotte tilbury foundation. I’ve been trying for ages to get that to work because it always comes out looking thick and masky. I’m going to have another go with your advice 👍😁
The L'oreal Age Perfect Serum Foundation w SPF 50 is BEAUTIFUL on my skin. I don't use a primer and I get medium coverage with it. It gives me such a nice glow and makes my skin look flawless. The absolute best foundation....my holy grail for sure. It's a good dupe for the Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation.
You seriously have to be the most thorough reviewer on RUclips. I wish I had your skin tone so I could just go with exactly what you recommend without any guess work.
I love these update videos! I also love the fact that you try such a broad range of foundations, I see a lot of foundation videos where if it's not full coverage matte then it's a no, - also, thank you for filling in such a detailed description box! So helpful! xxx
I love these type of videos!! Also, this helps me go to a happy place during the midst of this pandemic. Thank you for continuing to upload & being a ray of sunshine during these dark times❤️
Girl, I have to give you props on your description bars! It helps so much to get the products I'm interested in from the video. Top notch:) I've been watching you for years back when had under 60,000 subs and always go to you for foundations and reviews. Thanks for the hard work!
I love how you included foundations that you wanted to try again like the L’Oréal pro glow! I feel like I have a similar situation as you bc I used to have very oily skin pre accutane and post accutane my skin is totally different and I’ve been wanting to try older foundations but I’ve been hesitant. Thank you really helps! 💗
Thanks for update. I’m always curious too if someone still uses the product that they initially enjoyed at first. Love your channel and personality.👍❤️
This was so helpful for me Taylor. Funny how you were saying you wished you knew how other influencers still liked the makeup they tried. I was literally thinking this yesterday and then here you are. I am going to try a couple of the foundations you have recommended. 🙂
These kinds of videos are why this channel is my all time favorite. So many channels seem to bounce around doing first impressions, but never talk about comparisons or make recommendations like you do. Of course, it takes work and planning which we can always expect from you. Thank you so much for working so hard to provide such valuable information for us. This is why the majority of my top products are from your videos! ❤😊💐
I always check to see if you have done a review for products I want to buy. I've actually gone outside a store and watched your video before I decide to purchase something! You have not lead me astray yet. Thanks for all the work you do so that we can make informed decisions!
@@sallyfields2385What a great story! I just bought the Maybelline Dream Urban foundation (SPF 50) to boost my sunscreen for the summer. I went back to rewatch Taylor's video on it before I ordered. She is just a treasure!
@@Patti-1962 Lol Thanks! It's the truth though. I'm looking for a new foundation too. I haven't decided yet but Taylor's reviews are so helpful. I need to rewatch it and take notes this time.
I love this! Updates are very informative. I have the BB cream and I like it for no foundation day, but I love the EL! It was a real surprise as to how well it went on and how well it looked at the end of the day! Thanks 😊
I bought the Haley’s beauty BB drops on your recommendation and I LOVE it! It works amazing on my mature skin. Also, on your recommendation (not pertinent to this video) I bought the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant and it literally is life changing! The pores on my nose looked like the surface of a strawberry and now my pores are about a third the size. Thanks Taylor! ❤️❤️
I also bought the Haley’s beauty drops and can’t seem to get them to work for me. :(( I always shake them up super well, let my skincare set down all the way and it still applies splotchy and accentuates dryness and texture. Any tips really appreciated!!
Remy Diaz I get the same results as you when I apply with my hands. But then when I tapped it on with my double-sided It Cosmetics foundation brush, it’s flawless.
I literally buy every foundation you recommend that isn't "dewy" as I have oily skin. The korean ones are all awesome - Missha, Peripera and the Etude house one, they are all natural looking and last so well but I do have to add darkening drops. I never would have found on my own. I have also been loving the Osmosis foundation (not the CC), you must try and review, literally lasts all day with no powder touch ups!
I’ve been strangely getting away from YT the last few months BUT Taylor is someone I always watch. It’s your chill way and down to earth vibes that makes me love your videos!💕And you are greatly informative, thanks Taylor✨
The only way I’ve been able to make the Wet n’ Wild dewy foundation work is adding facial oil drops to it (I use marula oil) and applying with a damp sponge. It ends up looking pretty nice with that application. But it took me a while to figure this out. Basically, for a dewy foundation, it doesn’t seem great for dry skin...🤷🏻♀️
Love these videos! It’s crazy how things work and don’t work for people. I personally love the wet and wild dewy foundation. These videos are my favorite from you :)
Peripera has a skin tint in a similar little dropper bottle that I think you might like! I use it on no makeup days. It breaks down after a couple hours but it has a nice dewy finish
I just love that you take the extra time and put in the extra effort to thoroughly test the foundations you’ve done a first impression on, to give us your full thoughts and experiences with them. I can’t tell you how much time, money, and skin issues that you have saved me in the years I’ve been watching your channel. So from the bottom of my heart, and my wallet, thank you! 💜 #baerritoforlife 🌯🌯🌯🌯#foundationqueen
I have a tube of the Pro Glo I don't normally use it alone because it doesn't last on me, but it has saved me from washing my face when it was too matte and looked cakey it gives it a fresh finish.
I really appreciate these updates bc I’ve also gone through Accutane around the time you did and my foundation collection has completely changed! So it’s great to see what’s been working for you so I can also try them 😄😄😄😄
I had the BB super + and tried so hard to love it for those days when I want a lighter coverage. It did not work out for me and my dryer, more mature skin. It never set fully and transferred like crazy onto everything. It felt like lipgloss on my skin as even my hair kept getting stuck to my face...no matter how little I used. Glad it works for some. I have no luck with foundations that are combined with Spf and I want so much for one to work out for me. The supergoop and Missha are ok, but still searching for a "go to". Thanks for all your content. Stay well and safe.
When I saw what tonight’s video was I was like YEEEEEEEESSSSSS. Possibly my favorite video you ever do. So to answer your question, YES, yes we love these updates. 😂❤️
I really like the Missha M BB Cream with the L'Oreal 24 Hr. Foundation plus I add a drop of The Ordinary's Marula Oil. It may sound odd but somehow the combination of the three things means I get longevity, glow and easy blending. I use a Morphe foundation brush and finish it off with a sponge and it looks beautiful. Thanks for the reviews.
Yes, I do find these videos helpful - if anything they're the best ones in terms of any kind of makeup testing. I'm more interested in how things wear over a certain period of time rather than just a day. So keep them coming! They're great :)
I love your foundation Friday videos!! Not sure if you have done this before, but I’d love to see you testing out clean foundations. I have extremely sensitive, dry, acne prone skin so I’m on the hunt for something I can use that lasts but won’t break me out.
I have oily skin and the skin 79 bb cream you mentioned at the end is my holy grail. OMG it is so good. I love how it dries down and wears so nice. The green one is a little lighter and more cooler toned for anyone who would need that!
Do they come in various shades? I went to the link and just saw the one shade.. I looked it up on Amazon by brand and there is a orange, purple, etc.. I’m sure it’s the formulation but how do you know about the shades?
I use CT airbrush flawless as a foundation “topper” over CYO for coverage on my cheeks where I have post acne marks, it really does last long, even as a topper, and the coverage is amazing.
I would love to see you do a bridal series. I live in Seattle and had to reschedule my wedding this month due to quarantine. Being that things are fiscally tight for most people during this time it’d be neat to see a series of diy bridal looks where women can invest in their own makeup they can therefore build to their collection as opposed to paying the same if not more for an artist which isn’t social distancing friendly or just for brides on a budget!
Thank you for these recommendations! We haven't been allowed to purchase any cosmetics during the lockdown as they aren't considered essential items. Level 5 was moved to Level 4 so I can finally go repurchase a foundation! I haven't had any since March. Love from Cape Town, South Africa
You're so good at doing updates on things you love and don't! Thanks for sharing and all the reviews you do! It's such a huge help! Stay safe & love you girl! 💖💗💜❤️ I loved your vlog all about your camera experiences too!
Try the dr jart tiger grass color correcting spf. It works so well on my dry pale skin for an every day sheer glowy look. It doesn’t have a ton of coverage, but I’ve been loving that look lately.
I love the urban Decay stay naked Weightless foundation. Perfect for my oily skin. I always use the j. One jelly pack primer or the Urban Decay primer or the shiseido block booster primer
There is just something so wonderful about your videos when you sit down and talk through products. Don't get me wrong, I love your normal videos and your Vlogs too. But if I'm super stressed out, your foundation updates, empties, and raves and rejects videos are what I click on.
Yes! I super love these update videos because there are just so many foundation launches and so many product options out there that it’s hard to keep up. And I keep checking back to YesStyle but the ink foundation is always out of stock 😢
I mix the missha bb shade 21 (grey toned) with cereve tinted spf (kinda yellow) and the shade together works great for me and it's got physical spf 😉😉😉😍
I'd love to see an updated video on your longest wearing, sweat proof foundations, blushes, etc. I live in florida and am always sweating at work so foundation usually melts right off 😂
1. You are by far my favorite youtuber. You are the most relatable and the most sincere. 2. I’ve been trying to find it but I know you say you use the same moisturizer everyday and it makes your skin look amazing! What is it? I have super dry skin and really want to try it.
L’Oréal visible lift has been one of my go to foundations for years! That and CYO are my everyday and favorite foundations! Thankful we have similar skin because I trust you and I know you’re always real! Thank you!! 😘
Taylor- if I could reach through my phone and hug you , I would! Thank you for that glass skin video and recommending the Haley Beauty drops. I ordered them when they were boho. They are exactly what I was looking for and needed. I can NEVER be without these. Seriously thank you! Everything I was using previously wasn’t working for me anymore- and the one product that was has been discontinued and can’t be found (Vishy pro even bb cream) These drops do it all without emphasizing or clinging to my texture- makes my 40 year old skin look so much younger. Thank you , Thank you!!!!
I love update videos like this. We don’t always have the same preferences/skin but I love the videos anyway and a lot of your other makeup Recs are my gold. The Revlon Candid concealer is my holy grail, esp to wear w/o foundation. The candid glow works well for me mixed with a glossy primer as a light even-out but not much coverage - used sparingly. Love your vlogs, your down to earth-ness, and quality contentX ☺️☺️
I’m so happy you LoVe the EL Futurist Hydra foundation! I’m a fan of that one. Thank you for all your foundation experiments, reviews, and updated! High five for a great vid! 🙌🏻
I really love that foundation!! The shade I have is already getting a little too light for me so I’ll def have to pick up a darker shade. Not looking forward to probably having to pick out a shade online 😬
♡BUNNY♡ Aw, man, I hardly even notice a scent. But no foundation is worth a migraine. There are others out there. What foundation do you wear regularly?
kindra schell darn, Ive been wearing this under my mask at work, 10hr days, and it’s still not causing breakouts...and my chin is the most sensitive/easily irritated part of the face. Again, who cares, it’s just foundation, right? There are millions of them. What’s your fave?
I been mixing the Wet ‘n wild dewy foundation with maybellines dewy & smooth foundation. It is very good combo 😌 I love both on their own but together they work well together 😊
I love the L'Oreal Visible Lift! You're so right, I was turned on to it by my sister & I had never heard of it (it was bottom shelf at the drug store too). It's a great foundation with nice ingredients. I'm watching this video and thinking, she'd look so pretty with a flower tucked behind her ear (like a Hawaiian girl!!). I will have to try the Estee Lauder
I love to mix the Loreal Age Rewind Serum mixed with the Loreal Infallible Fresh Wear!!! It gives a great mix of radiance from the Age Rewind Serum AND staying power from the Fresh Wear. Still have to say your OG favorite CYO Lifeproof is the easiest most fuss free foundation out there...no mixing required and perfection straight out of the bottle.
So many youtubers say, “I’ll update you guys on how I like it,” and never follow through. THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS UPDATING WHEN YOU SAY YOU WILL!! ❤️

I love this foundation. But it oxidizes on me. But I still buy it lol
Oxidized awful, but plumping and looks moisturizing! I'd just maybe swing waaaay light if you go for it
Same here!!!! Im so willing to work with the oxidation because of the formula 😍😍
These videos are more important to me than first impressions, even though it’s not “new” content by some standards. I’m so glad you make these updates

I love mixing the infallible pro-glow with the pro-matte. My other favourites are the infallible Freshwear and the Revolution Conceal and hydrate

It's more of a natural stain finish while still lasting all day.

#baerritoforlife 🌯🌯🌯🌯#foundationqueen
I have a tube of the Pro Glo I don't normally use it alone because it doesn't last on me, but it has saved me from washing my face when it was too matte and looked cakey it gives it a fresh finish.
I really appreciate these updates bc I’ve also gone through Accutane around the time you did and my foundation collection has completely changed! So it’s great to see what’s been working for you so I can also try them 😄😄😄😄
Love seeing updates like this!!! I feel like it is as important as a 'first impression' video!!! Thanks
I just used the ester Lauder double wear foundation for the first time and I love it! Perfect for full coverage and oily skin
Have you tried the NYX born to flow foundation? I would be curious to hear your thoughts!
I love your foundation Friday videos!! Not sure if you have done this before, but I’d love to see you testing out clean foundations. I have extremely sensitive, dry, acne prone skin so I’m on the hunt for something I can use that lasts but won’t break me out.
I usually mix the Revlon candid glow with the regular Revlon candid and love how it looks.
Love this kind of video. Helps out when deciding on whether or not to get a certain foundation. Thanks for all your hard work.
I hope u r feeling better. God bless!!
I add no 7 foundation drops in with my Mischa no 21 cuts the gray just enough and gives me a tad more coverage.
I mix the wet n wild dewy foundation with the missha bb cream and it's the best thing ever 🥰
Jessica Braun just did this in a recent video and now I want to try it.
I love seeing what you are still loving!
love this type of updates video ! So that I know it is not just a trendy product for a while!
I really like that you did this. These follow ups are so informative!
I genuinely love these videos - I find them really helpful. I really want to try that Givenchy foundation
I love the urban Decay stay naked Weightless foundation. Perfect for my oily skin. I always use the j. One jelly pack primer or the Urban Decay primer or the shiseido block booster primer
Love your foundation update videos! So much info on foundations you’ve been using. 😻💙💙
I mix my dewy and regular photofocus and then it is perfect!
Yeah that Estee Lauder Futurist is the bomb! I'm 45 with dry to sometimes normal skin and that foundation is as close to perfect as I have ever seen.
I love these videos! They are the most informative for me!
I mix the missha bb shade 21 (grey toned) with cereve tinted spf (kinda yellow) and the shade together works great for me and it's got physical spf 😉😉😉😍
Can you please do an update on Dermacol? 💜💜
Really like your foundation round up reviews! Thnx for taking the time to test and retest so we get the full picture!!!
I appreciate the unique videos you make! ❤️ hope the healing is going well after surgery!
Love this! I wonder what about the etude house foundation?
I'd love to see an updated video on your longest wearing, sweat proof foundations, blushes, etc. I live in florida and am always sweating at work so foundation usually melts right off 😂
Omg that sounds like where I live, summer is AWFUL
Thank you!! 😘
I bought the peripera foundation and am patiently waiting for it to arrive... so excited to try it out!!
I love these videos too and appreciate the time you put into testing these out
The pro glow is my all time favorite. I have at least 3 backup tubes
I loveeee updates videos! ♥️ I'm shocked about how different the CT foundation is for every review I watch
I’m not surprised, it’s a super finicky product but when you can get it to look good, it looks GOOD.
The Charlotte Tilbury foundation does awesome under the Ciate London Hydrating primer. That’s my go-to combo.
Love these videos!!! Are the plants in the background real? So pretty!!
I want to try the infallible glow I currently use the matte one!💕
I’m so happy you LoVe the EL Futurist Hydra foundation! I’m a fan of that one. Thank you for all your foundation experiments, reviews, and updated! High five for a great vid! 🙌🏻
I really love that foundation!! The shade I have is already getting a little too light for me so I’ll def have to pick up a darker shade. Not looking forward to probably having to pick out a shade online 😬
The smell for it is migraine inducing though...
I liked it... But I'm 95% positive that it was causing me to break out
♡BUNNY♡ Aw, man, I hardly even notice a scent.
I have tried loving the wet n wild foundation. Does the same thing for me 🙃
I been mixing the Wet ‘n wild dewy foundation with maybellines dewy & smooth foundation. It is very good combo 😌 I love both on their own but together they work well together 😊
I have oily skin and the infallible proglow is amazing. Makes me curious why it doesn’t work for some. It doesn’t seem to be a oily/dry factor.
