Definitely looking forward to more videos. I’m in the middle of modifying a smoker for a friend. But my next one will probably be from scratch. Collecting a bunch of data to put into it. Thanks for sharing.
Once that paint is off, slap some linseed oil on it and burn it on for a nice blackish brown finish! Made mine look like a rat-rod! I call mine the R-BQ, and have some videos about how I did it. Check it out!
Hell of a job! Wish I had an insulated firebox. No slide on the air on your fire box for adjustment or trim as you had placed around the cooking chamber door, obviously the plan. Did you put a damper on the stack? Well anyhow, it's all moot, the fire can be controled with the amount of wood going in, again great unit, many happy cooks to you
I’m guessing maybe your first build? All your stuff I watch now you have slide out grates, taller stacks, more insulation in firebox and no logo on your stack adjustment!! Very nice work ….. someday!!!
Dude that is awesome, I love the mid evil hinges and stuff, also I like how you used bar stock for the grates and not cheap angle iron that warps from heavy briskets like other people do. That looks as good as ol blue all day long, nice build, was there no need for door vents, or you just run wide open.
Love this build. Subscribed. I have watched several videos about smoker builds and I will certainly be using some ideas from this to help me with the one I am working on. Thanks for the video. You did a great job with the build end the video.
Heya! Love the build! I'm currently modifying a smoker and adding new wheels and tires and want to follow this build with the pivot, so awesome. Anyhow, how are you locking the wheels on the axle?
Man tha fucking little thing i'snt even mine and I feel so very exited to see it finished Dude you did a great job not only with the smoker. But also with me and I'm sure with many people too You give us inspiration to do things too. Man thanks so much for sharing that fucking thing so fucking awesome.
Awesome video bud! Killer smoker. I am thinking about building one myself. You inspired me. I just saw someone else’s video and they built the smoke stack right on top of the firebox. I was like what the hell, all the smoke and heat are escaping before it even hits what you’re smoking. I msgd him and he said that is how a reverse smoker works. I think he’s full of crap to be honest. Let me know your thoughts. Just subbed.
I am inspired to build me a killer smoker bro. I picked up an old school trailer bbq rig and I am motivated to put a firebox on it and a collector with a 6 “ diameter stack! Your channel and your builds rock!
I commented on your other video about being in the process of building my own, but is there any way you could send me the lengths for the tubing frame, and pictures of the hinges ??
nice pit, question on the welder is that a flux core mig, the lime green one? Looking to start welding myself, found one online called "Forney easy weld 261" kind of looks like the lime green one you have, thanks!
Check out Allen Tubbs Country Built Smokers, he builds verticals, reverse flows anything you want, now he is making reverse flows with vertical smokers attached, he built them in his back yard, he just got a new shop, he bangs them out, 1/4 inch for about $2,000, There a steal, but he lives in new Orleans, $1,000 for shipping.

Hello sir I'm from Malaysia. may I know what name sand U use for firebox insulation ?
What type of grinder did you use to cut tank? Heavyduty?
I am inspired to build me a killer smoker bro. I picked up an old school trailer bbq rig and I am motivated to put a firebox on it and a collector with a 6 “ diameter stack! Your channel and your builds rock!
What were some of your dimensions like how big is your fire box, how big is the air tank and how tall is your smoke stack?
Fantastic! Awesome pit. What size tank was that?
Dope vid man. It’s a dream of mine to build my own. Gotta learn how to work with fire n metal first though.
Appreciate you
did you grind down the seem
I like how you did your wagon lead on there. I’m going to do that same thing in my next one 🤙🏼
Thanks man.
What kind of insulation did you use? Strong work!
awesome job,,, im in the middle of making one myself..
That’s awesome man! Always a good feeling.
Heck yeah bro.....
Sorry if this was asked already. What kind of welder is that? Brand and stuff
It’s a snap on
I commented on your other video about being in the process of building my own, but is there any way you could send me the lengths for the tubing frame, and pictures of the hinges ??
What thickness of sheet metal are you using for the firebox cover.
How thick is the wall on the air compressor?
Awesome job man if you ever out here in Vegas cooking for the public $$$ let me know I'll pull up for some good BBQ👍🏿
I appreciate you. Thanks man!
nice pit, question on the welder is that a flux core mig, the lime green one? Looking to start welding myself, found one online called "Forney easy weld 261" kind of looks like the lime green one you have, thanks!
Thanks man. So the forney is actually my plasma cutter. I do know they do make welders just don’t know too much about them.
Wish you would gv measurements on things would hv bn nice
XDid you put a lip in there so the grease don’t go into the fire pit cause grease and fires don’t mix
Yes sir. The hole from the firebox to the cook chamber has a good size lip to keep any grease from entering.
What kinda tires did you use
I like your Smoker say hi to travie forme plz
Great looking Pits, brother, how can i contact you?
Wish you had your shop in Jamaica. Nuff respek mi bredda 👍
Thanks brotha.🤙🏻🤙🏻
Hell yeah
Thanks!
What size tank did you use on this build?
60 gallon
Dear god I need a garage with a 240 hookup.
What size tank was that ?
How did you clean out the inside of the tank?
I used a wire wheel on my grinder. And a shop vac works good as well.
What kind of insulation is that… great vid brother !!! 💯
Thanks man!! rockwool is the insulation
What are the dimensions?
Wanna help me build a big one?
Ever built a 250?
I have not but I would love too.
How much to build me one! Seriously
How’s it going. So the 60 gallons go for $2500.
