- Bangs can have a mind of their own. Some days you just wake up, and they're absolutely wild. I'm going to share a couple of different methods with you today that you can use to tame your bangs and style them into compliance. Enjoy!

Same but since I straightened my curly hair and my hair is straight for some reason my bangs are only on one side and I didn't even part them it's like they naturally move to the side 🙄 someone give me tips please I got a big ass forehead and I'm trying to hide it

Ikr whenever they are wet (my hair too) they get wavy ughhhh but I like my wavy hair tho I don’t even have to curl it lol
Another tip: Dry shampoo. Not only does it help make your bangs look fresh again (bangs look greasy fast especially when you need to straighten them daily or touch them a lot) but it also helps tame the hair in position. For people with hair that tends to curl i suggest to combine blow drying wet bangs down and straightening them for full effect that has always helped me loads.
If you want to use hairspray make sure you spray the lightest amount of hairspray from a long distance to maintain a natural non plastic look and the final best tip for people with bangs: ALWAYS have a bobby pin on you for those days where it's foggy outside and it just can't be fixed otherwise

I think that's because Loepsie has a really good, fine, naturally straight hair, so she got it really easy. Im actually jealous of her hair. Most of the time if you have a wavy or slightly wavy hair or a curly hair or have a cowlick it'll tend to usually go haywire everywhere
I used a comb, pushed it outward lightly while keeping all the hair in place by the other hand. It worked pretty well for me.
My bangs like to curl on the sides. Or flip. Cowlicks and natural waves apparently. If I had known that I never would've cut them. Oh we'll, we live and learn right. :-)

Powder on the forehead is also great for preventing sweat from making them curly (tmi but it's a problem of mine lol).

I'm so happy I'm going to get my bangs back!Its been 6 years since I've had bangs and I was told that I was supposed to get rid of my bangs because they made me seem childish....but after a lot of thinking I'm getting my beloved bangs back.I hope they give me that look I used to have 6 years ago.My bangs used to make me who I was...yea it sounds crazy but I just loved my bangs.A lesson I learned is that you shouldn't take away something you love just because you're told to by the opinions and thoughts of others 😁

Just don't cut it too short and figure out what way of styling suits you the best
My face shape is round but not too round because my jawline is sharp but i'm still craving for bangs since last year. But i'm hesitating because it'll make me look chubby because my cheeks are a little bit chubby but one stylist told me to grow my short hair and then have a see-through bangs and i did pull it off even though my face shape doesn't match with it.

Your bangs will be less bothersome if you trim them a bit. I have bangs and it drives me crazy when they go into my eyes. just a tip for you to be more comfortable and they'll still look good!

I personally find it easier and quicker to use a straighter, my bangs are quite long and using a straighter to give that curling inwards effect does wonders so if you have long bangs a straighter is definitely a quick and easy method for styling :)

I used to have side bands (My hair was always parted to the right). Ever since I cut my by bangs, they won't seem to stay in the middle, they always end up swooping to the side :( Any tips on how to fix that?

I like donuts and bands you always have to style your bangs if you're deciding you want them. The way they look the best is if you style them. So curl them either with a blow dryer or with a little curler and roll it up. You can do your makeup while your curled is holding your bangs up and after you finish your makeup you let your curled down and voila. Bouncy, nice bangs. They should stay in the middle despite your cowlicks (I have them too) and make sure you put a small amount of hairspray on your hand and run them through your bangs to keep them there all day

Love this! What do you do with your bangs when working out/doing something active? I LOVE the way I look with bangs but haven't figured out how to manage them with an active lifestyle. If I wear a bike helmet or even just sweat a little, goodbye nice bangs! Any tips?

andyinglorian I would pull them back with a sweat band or band so when u take it out just brush your bangs and they will be great!

If you've got see through bangs or bangs that are long like mine or as shown in the video, you can just do a normal French braid or Dutch braid, taking your bangs into the braid and just Bobby pin it for a little more support, I usually do heavy workouts so I need my face to be free of hair so I usually use around 2-3 pins. You can even twin Dutch braid it if you like but I think French braid works the best for keeping them out of your face while working out!
ive been wanting to get bangs since like sep/oct of 2017 and now it's march and im pretty sure im getting them next week & im excited. thank goodness that the straightening iron works/helps because i think that's what im gonna use for it. 💖☺️
Great tips! I'd love to see ideas from you about side-parted hairstyles when having bangs. I can't seem to find a way to not look 80's when I try to side part my hair with thin bangs, and with thick bangs it just looks weird. But side part looks better on my face shape D:

+Loepsie nice video :) and helpful styling ideas. i wear my fringe mostly in a side parting and just wear it to one side. Pretty much 2007 but with a shorter fringe and without that emo attitude :D. What i was wondering, however, ever since my fringe destroyed my loch ness pictures: how do you tame the fringe whilst windy weather? I'm wearing a fringe since 5 years now and it's still a miracle to me how to look good while those heavy autumn storms cross northern Germany.
I had always rocked bangs, but grew them out a few years ago. Earlier this year I decided I wanted them back but thinner, sparse ones like yours, but the hairdresser made them just as thick as I used to have them.
They looked great for the first week or so before they fell properly and became obviously thick. Now I'm growing them out again...

My bangs dont look puffy neither do they look messy. They are just staright up bad. The only way they turn out nice is when i use my straightener and curl them but they never stay in place for the whole day afterwards smh

I’ve had bangs for like 3 years, and i dyed half my hair black a few months ago. I started washing it more often lately with only shampoo. But now they are separating in the middle with the rest of my hair. 😫 I use to straighten my bangs upward then downward so that i get volume. But the next morning again they have separated and gotten all flat. 🤢 My hair is very thick as well. I’m going to start using volume shampoo instead and see if it helps. And maybe using that round comb and blowdryer method. 😁👍

Sh Kapoor my friend told me that my forehead is too short and that it wouldn't look good on me either. I cut them regardless and now I'm getting showered with compliments. She said she didn't know id pull it off so well. Try it. You never know how it'd look unless you try and besides it's just hair. It'll grow back.

I have a heart shaped face too and i just cut myself some bangs and I'm loving it!! I think it's something you should definitely try because if they turn out bad it's just hair, you can just pin it back and it's not even visible

Some Tips for bangs :
1)blow them the way you want them to be
Iike l have seen many people saying there bangs get curly or some spend money to straighten them but they don't notice that when we wash or when our bangs get wet and if they stay Iike that curly or spread like that they will stay like that. So simply tie them using a rubber band in the way you want them .
a) If your want blunt bangs ,straight bangs or arched bangs you have to tie all of them towards the middle . If you have curly edges so also tie the edges together
b) layer bangs
tie them slanted towards the side and if you also want straight side bangs so tie the end also
Reminder
Tie them when they are wet because if you tie them in dry hair it will not work
2)Dont wash them everyday day
