I really love bangs but whenever I got them at a Hairdresser they would always cut them bluntly, no matter how much I explained I wanted them to be thin. Ok but if you're gonna get bangs please don't do them yourself there's a high chance you'll mess it up. Get a professional hair stylist to do them for you. And honestly I really wanted bangs until I got them. Now I think hair looks better without bangs.
I got my Hair cut before the quarantine. Told the hairdresser I didn’t want them too think with too much hair in it because I had that last time and didn’t like it. So naturally he cut a chunk from like over the middle of my head... lol at least no one can see me now while I grow it out 😅

I've had pretty thick blunt bangs for around 5 years now and I'm considering doing this. I've been growing my hair out longer and want to add more shaggy layers to it to give it more volume and I just feel like a bit thinner bangs would look better with that style. Hopefully I can do it right lol, this tutorial was great so fingers crossed

It is the same length but I will let them grow out. My hair grows fast due to hair vitamins, msm powder and vitamin c power, and collagen powder. I love bangs but I want them thinner now. I have black cruly/wavy ethnic hair. I do blow dry and flat iron my bangs bit the rest of my hair is natural. These tips are good. I have a rather strong widow's peak and my bangs always end up looking too thick in the center or the bangs just stick in with my longer hair. Has anyone sorted this out? I know some people shave their widow's peak, but then you still get the funny stubble interfering with your hair style.

I made a really bad mistake and I hate my bangs. I had made them too thick so I started cutting the bottom to make it look wispier which was a bad mistake. Now they’re all different lengths. Worst of all, I cut a piece of hair at the top of the triangle. Which I forgot was gonna grow back... so now I have small pieces in the back of my bangs sticking up. I hate it, and there’s no way to fix it🙁
Marie X they’re not very short and they are over my eyebrow. I had made my bangs a lil thick and was tryna make them wispy so I started cutting them. And one side is now shorter than the other one
I did this method in 2004/2005 when I couldn't stand losing all of my bangs by growing them all out. Good tutorial ❤️🙂 I eventually did grow them all out though. It was awful! 😆They are now to ankles lol.
i cant kind of comprehend the precision required here 😅 my hair is SO thick, it doesnt even matter where i cut from, there's enough hair to hide mistakes.
I literally do nothing to them. If they're weirdly sticking up because of bed hair, I just use water in a spray bottle on the area, and it's dry by the time I leave my house. If they're ever flat, I just grab a roller and keep it in my bangs until I leave my house.

My hairdresser does this thing where to picks up my bangs and makes small cuts into it (little snips) all the way up and the bangs sit better. But since lock down here in the U.K. I can’t do it myself.

If you don't wear your hair like that, I understand if you don't though. It's just so hard to find that on RUclips! It must not be popular. Worst of all, I cut a piece of hair at the top of the triangle. Which I forgot was gonna grow back... so now I have small pieces in the back of my bangs sticking up. I hate it, and there’s no way to fix it🙁
Alejandra i don’t know how short you cut them but i would recommend cuttting your bangs even. It can be that your bangs wil be over your eyebrow..
Marie X they’re not very short and they are over my eyebrow. I had made my bangs a lil thick and was tryna make them wispy so I started cutting them. And one side is now shorter than the other one
I did this method in 2004/2005 when I couldn't stand losing all of my bangs by growing them all out. Good tutorial ❤️🙂
I eventually did grow them all out though. It was awful! 😆They are now to ankles lol.
i cant kind of comprehend the precision required here 😅 my hair is SO thick, it doesnt even matter where i cut from, there's enough hair to hide mistakes.

All you have to do is blow dry them both directions and put a little dry shampoo at the roots.

I literally do nothing to them. If they're weirdly sticking up because of bed hair, I just use water in a spray bottle on the area, and it's dry by the time I leave my house. If they're ever flat, I just grab a roller and keep it in my bangs until I leave my house.
I honestly dont have to style mine at all, I get out of the shower and comb it and that's it

i already had a thin wispy bang before quarantine but i decided to cut some side framing bits and they turned out wayyy too short so no i have thicker bangs. thank you for the tip!

My hairdresser does this thing where to picks up my bangs and makes small cuts into it (little snips) all the way up and the bangs sit better. But since lock down here in the U.K. I can’t do it myself.

I usually cut my own bangs and keep things very safe. I went to the hairdresser and they cut my bangs SO THICK. I'm pissed because I'm usually trying to stop that from happening and it's so annoying that the one time you go and pay for it, they fuck you up.

If you don't wear your hair like that, I understand if you don't though. It's just so hard to find that on RUclips! It must not be popular. I just think it looks so much more fuller and flattering from the back if it's in a V shape. I usually always trim my own bangs. (Thanks to your original trim bangs video.) But when it comes to the rest of my hair, I still go to a salon because I don't think I understand well enough to trust myself to do it on my own.

ive been cutting my bangs for a year now and i think they look pretty dang good for me not being a professional (ive had bangs most of my life. for some reason they grow Very quickly and i dont have money to go to the salon all the time so i taught myself how to trim them) but i think wispy bangs r really cute so im curious if i can make mine thinner!

I cut my bangs 6 months ago..and I regret it…so first I cut it too thin and super SHORT…then I cut more secretly- ;-; …now whenever I go out , I have to hide them with clips at back…my mom thinks it’s embarrassing and…no one likes it. Even my friends lie to me that I look great in bangs.but one true friend said it looks “ok” but not that great .and it dosent suit me well…rn I do still regret if u style it , it will look better than usual .

I have to wear glasses all the time except for close up reading and sometimes the side of my fringe rests on the side of my glasses frame and curls out/up because of this. I hate how it looks when it does this do you have any tips to stop it? I'm wondering if it's the shape and thick ish frame of my glasses, perhaps thin frame would be better. Idk
