Honestly I want to CRY! I just got bangs and ever since I first forgot to blow dry right after the shower, I have been walking around looking like sailor moon with a HUGE gap no matter how I brushed or blow dried. I watched the tutorial and my bangs finally look like how I got them cut again! Thank you ❤️
Haha same I didn't know I had to blow dry them first so I ended up just pushing them back out of my face from being so frustrated. It's a science for sure!
Bro I just got bangs and woke up this morning and I had no idea how to style them and so I just experimented randomly and omg they were so like bumpy and “v luminous” it was rlly embarrassing going to school😭
Got my hair cut a couple of days ago and today was my first time washing/blow drying on my own. Sheer terror looking into the mirror and thinking, “What have I done?” Immediately searched for a how-to video and yours popped up first, wet my bangs, gave it another go, and voila! Thank you so much for helping me love my haircut and not look like a 6 year old.
Thank you for making, a how to blow out & style bangs video. Even though I'm a man, your techniques has helped me a lot. I'm a Native American, I let my hair grow out to show my Native heritage. Time to time, it seems my hair has a mind of its own. Your techniques has really helped me out. Thank you so much.
FINALLY! someone that goes straight to the point in a short and easy demonstration. Thank you Leigh Ann, you are the ONLY person that has actually helped me with my bangs in this world of long, boring, silly and ridiculous videos. Yours is PERFECT.
OMG Thank you. Amazing change. I have been so frustrated styling my bangs. I've been wearing them for about 2 years. My hair is really thick, so styling them is difficult, and I've been looking for an easy way to style them without a bunch of product every day, but without having to do the full "graphic" look just to get them looking halfway decent. Thank you!
Great tutorial! I have had bangs since September and I looooove them but the struggle with the perfect length lasting 30 minutes before it gets too long is so real!
THIS WAS A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!! Thank you so much!! I just got my bangs yesterday and although I’ve had them before, I never knew how to care for them properly. I LOVE this! So easy!
I have same length, thickness, and style of hair and it takes me 6 minutes flat to dry my hair and style it (using just a hair dryer). Apply some mouse to the ends of combed towel dry hair, blast with hairdryer all over until hair just slightly damp (3 mins), apply 6 large Velcro rollers (1 min), blast with hair dryer again all over (60-90 seconds). That's it! You just take out the rollers after you have finished your makeup (usually ten minutes) and you are left with bouncy voluminous hair.
Awesome. Thank you for this. I just cut bangs and haven't had them in YEARS. I was dreading trying to train my hair all over again and thus far, it hadn't been promising. This method actually WORKED. So simple and effective. How nice and rare it is to have a RUclips tip be easy, quick, and work. Much thanks.
Even though this video is 4 years old i gotta say you saved me too!! I got my bangs recently and they looked and sat on my head perfectly but as soon as I washed them and needed to style them myself i regretted them and panicked. Then followed this video and they look just like they did out of the salon!!
Thank you!!! Question, do you use conditioner on your bangs? I’ve heard mixed things and am trying to keep my bangs non-greasy for longer than like a day, and not have to wash them in the sink so much lol.
I love how simple this is because I'm planning on getting bangs in the very near future but at the moment dont do anything to my hair, so I was worried it would be a tough transition but this really helps! Even more excited to get them now 💛
After years of crooked fringes, cow licks, kinks and using the hair straighteners to try and smooth out my fringe......I have tried your technique today for the first time and it has really worked....thank you!
This blow dry technique is the answer to my prayers!!! I've only had bangs for a week and they have been driving me mad as they have been out of control but not any more!!!! Thank you! Now I feel like I've got this!
When you cut your bangs, I loved them so much that I then needed bangs. I wore them as bangs for 2 days and then I gave up and started pinning them back because I didn't know how to style them. Thank you finally for this video!!!
This is so helpful. I have been trying to figure out how to style my bangs to where they look like this! I will be trying this technique the next time I wash my hair!
I'm 30 and I just quarantine-cut bangs which hasn't been done since the 90's (We don't talk about supercuts2015), and am proud to say that I actually love it. This video is EXACTLY what I needed. I'm usually Hella low maintenance, but covid+ got me fkd up, and I took control where I had it. Thank you for posting. 🙌🏼💁
I got bangs again two weeks ago and you were definitely the inspiration behind that decision. I struggle with the "perfect curls and straight bangs" problem as well! Thanks for the tips!
Thank you SO much, you saved me! I just decided to cut my bangs myself a few days ago because you know "why not it's just hair anyway" and they turned out great but... I didn't know AT ALL how to style them and thanks to you now I know and they look great when I use your method! Thank youuuu, love from France ♥
I've had bangs, like, my whole life but inspired by your old hair, I started growing my bangs out completely for the first time ever.... BUT NOW YOU HAVE BANGS AND I WANT BANGS AGAIN 😭 ugh
“I’ve never done anything exact”, lol! I totally agree with everything you said here, especially that bangs have a mind of their own. You are informative in an entertaining way! Love the video
Omg that wet hair style actually made you look fabulous!! Like a model! 😍 I'm sitting here doing my breathing treatment looking a hot mess wishing I looked as good as you with wet hair!
Great technique! I even use cold air while doing this and even in the wind , I’ll I do is shake my head a bit and the shape is back : thank you so much!
Yeah, I'm totally one of those people that doesn't have bangs, never wanted to have bangs, but I love watching your videos so I watch this one! Now after seeing this video, you make me want bangs, what is happening, who am I?!?Wish I could get my hair to look half as good as yours! Love you 😘
I had bangs cut in after you got yours. I loved the look of them so much that I had to recreate your look. After the first week, I gave up. I had no idea how to style them. Yesterday, I watched this video, cut my fringe, used your method, and looked FAB. Thank you ❤❤
Thank you so much for doing this! I have always had bangs but lately I have not been happy with them. They are so temperamental! Was even thinking of letting them grow out. Can't wait to try this method!
Oh my god same with the whole thing about not waiting for the bangs to dry. It's so disastrous, even if they dry for a second!! Crazy that yours do the same!
You're such an inspiration. The beauty adventures I've wanted to try but have been too scared I have done because you're been brave enough to do it and rock it with confidence. Examples: Purple mermaid hair ✅ Colored double winged liner ✅ (wasn't an ultimate success for me but hey I tried it for a few days!) Bangs ✅ ♥️ you and Luna!
Thank youuuu. I had bangs till the age of ~20 and then decided to grow them out. But my forehead is big so I cannot tie my hair now or I look somewhat like an alien :D But I wasn't sure about having bangs again cause I remember always using straightener and it did not give me the most flattering look. BUT with your video I think I could do i again, thanks for this lil tutorial, was very helpful! Will see how it goes for me :)
This video helped me so much! My bangs had been wanting to part terribly and make a big weird gap, but blow drying down worked really well! Thankyou!!! 💖👏🏻
I feel like many other commenters on here! Just got bangs for the first time and woke up with a fluffy eye-covering mess lol! Your video really helped me!
Omg thank you so much i have watched so many videos and they didn't work im so glad i saw your video because it looks like i just got it done from a hair dresser 💜💜💜
You are hilarious and appreciate your bang analogies! Since I am with you on drying bangs whilst wet, how do you handle skincare/ makeup with bangs!? If I clip my bangs right after I’ve styled them, they get pissed!? Thanks for your help!
thanks so much for this tutorial! I've been frustrated with my bangs lately...they definitely have a mind of their own. 🤣 I'm looking forward to trying your method! Can I also ask what ring light do you use in this video? The lighting looks great.
ok, I felt the need to come here again to comment: this is like magic 😱 this is the easier way to blow my bangs and now they just look great, thank you for the trick!!
Ever since I asked for a below the shoulder cut and got an awful bob instead I'm to afraid to do anything with my hair. I admire your courage to change so often, you should cut it a little shorter sometime, you would look amazing (already do btw)
I’m thinking about going back to straight full bangs after years of no bangs. 😬 will this work for that? Also, how do you wash them in between full hair washes?
So helpful, thank you! Question: I know you were a big dry shampoo fan pre-bangs... are you able to keep them tame even after a few days of not washing? Sorry if you've already answered this. Keep up the great work!
for many years I've always parted my hair in the middle. a few years now I've trained my hair to be parted on the right side. I've been wanting bangs for while. I've got side bangs which are long. maybe one day I'll shorter ones.
It's umm my 3rd day since I've ever got bangs it's rlly amusing but on the first day before getting the hair cut I showered and the next day I ask my mum that should I shower today ? She said I think u shouldn't do it tommorow so I waited for the next day then I showered after that I sat and brushed my hair when it dried I fix my bangs but.....no matter what I do I literally kept getting a huge space in the middle of it and at the night I had to go to my relatives when I got there everyone was staring at me cuz in my family no one has ever got bangs before that was so embarrassing but now I'm happy that I saw ur video I haven't try it yet by after seeing the comments I feel like it'll work
I've been looking for this! After years of swoop bangs (and even grown out bangs) I finally chopped them like yours a few days ago. Can't wait to try the blow drying technique. ~Di
What brush do you use? And is it heat resistant, meaning it won't melt after a lot of use when using it like a round brush with the blow dryer heat? I just discovered your videos and LOVE them! Thanks, Lady!
I love that you showed how to do it without a round brush. I don't like the bevy curl that the round brush it creates and its so frustrating when hair stylists (for weddings, etc.) do this automatically
Thank you SO much for the tip on blow drying out bangs. I will remember it! Thinking so seriously about cutting my long, LONG bangs. BUT. I think I will wait a LITTLE bit longer. I'm actually trying to grow my hair out. Why? Becuase I only live once and I've always wanted to see how long I could get my hair. **SIGH** It's taking FOREVER!
What kind of brush is the black one? Is it a mason pearson brush? Do you think the shape of the brush is more important or the fact that those brushes have special bristles? Thanks! Love your videos :)
Did you get your bangs cut in layers? I just got my bangs cut yesterday, but I got them cut straight across so I don't know what to do with them 😕 love you and Luna!!! ❤️
Thank you for this video!! I have bangs and they are absolutely CRAZY when I get out of the shower...my usual method for taming them doesn't really work the way I want it to, so I'm definitely going to try this method!! Also I need that blow dryer in my life! 😂
Would drying without the brush work on curly hair? My hair is very curly (not kinky but frizzy curls) and I've never dried the bangs without using a brush the whole time. Any tips?
Honestly I want to CRY! I just got bangs and ever since I first forgot to blow dry right after the shower, I have been walking around looking like sailor moon with a HUGE gap no matter how I brushed or blow dried. +Mrs. Burns haha you are so brave!! I hope you love them 💙
Omg. I love this. I did something similar the other day.... now I’m looking for videos on how to styled a botched bang job....😫lmao
Me last night at 3 am. Don't regret it at all
You are the reason I do not have friends
Got bangs yesterday and woke up today and it looks MONSTROUS. Thank you for this!!
Hey I saw that you posted that comment 2 years ago from today, and I'm just curious as to whether or not you still have bangs lol

You can also use some gel when wet on the part that separates , blow dry downward ,
I feel like many other commenters on here! Just got bangs for the first time and woke up with a fluffy eye-covering mess lol! Your video really helped me!

Thanks for your help!
Omg yesterday (before I watched the video) my bangs were a mess. Now they look SO good. And I did it! Not my hairstylist!
THANK YOU! Do you recommend washing them everyday? I have pretty oily hair but right now i typically spritz them with dry shampoo
Can you start putting your shirt info in the description box? i always want to know!
thanks so much for this tutorial!
Love the video! What kind of brush are you using? What brand? Thank you!
Thank you so much! My bangs and cowlick have been a source of torment forever! Your easy technique was like an epiphany!

That purple lip is next level!

I've wanted to get bangs for so long and this video is very encouraging. 💗 I may just have to go chop some of my hair off now
+Nosferatoot woohoo bang party! hahah

Did you get them?! I’m currently deciding if I want to do that.... 🧐
I love using this technique too!!
love your new look, wish I could rock bangs like that
You are my spirit animal. My bangs have a life of their own, too. The struggle is real! 🦄💗
I just got bangs again...I love them and you girl
me: has no bangs
also me: is super excited to watch you do yours... :)
YAS!!! =) I got bangs a few months ago and LOVE rocking them. Your bangs look amazing on you btw =D
Cute video, cute Luna, & cute necklace. Is the jewelry available on line?
I love that you showed how to do it without a round brush. I don't like the bevy curl that the round brush it creates and its so frustrating when hair stylists (for weddings, etc.) do this automatically
I've seriously considered getting bangs and this video really makes me want to!!! Your bangs look great.
Can you also do a tut on the cute half up style with bangs that you've been wearing lately? Its so pretty!!!
I needed this I always get the bump with the round brush, thank you!!!
Hi! What brush do you use? Thank you! Great video :)
So agree with you on your comment on " have to dry the bangs asap". Mine too. They are beyond help if you don't dry them first.
Omg this is just what i needed! Perfect tutorial for bangs. I’m trying it out right now.
Thank you so much for this video! It works so great. I've had bangs for a month now and this is so helpful in the mornings.

Discovered your channel while looking for fringe blowdry tips. Love your videos! Thx and 💗 from Canada
I'm so glad you found me!! thanks for watching!
Would drying without the brush work on curly hair? My hair is very curly (not kinky but frizzy curls) and I've never dried the bangs without using a brush the whole time. Any tips?
Thank you sooo much! That was the tip I needed. Works and is so easy with an amazing natural result. Love to Luna and you ♥
This helped me soo much, thank you. I've only just got bangs after many yrs of long side pieces :) X
I don't even have bangs, but I still paid such close attention to this vid 😂 love you Leighann!
Great tutorial... but the problem is I don't own a hair dryer 😖😅
