Hi everyone, a little 'how I style my hair' video for you today, hope you like it:) Out of interest, does anyone know why American's call a fringe Bangs? Pretty much all of these hairstyles could be done with or without a fringe so hopefully it'll give you a little inspiration for your own hair. Big hugs, Jess x
Unfortunately (because I am from the states), I looked this up once and apparently there is something called a "bang-tail" that referred to a trim of a horses tail. So I officially call it fringe now!! LOL!! Much sweeter and more of that hippy vibe I like as well. I love these all on you. But question: I see you with damp hair and it looks like you have a natural wave. Huh!! Have you ever played with your natural curl/wave? I bet it would be gorgeous on you.
@@lori900 Hello Lori, isn't it funny where names come from! I was just laughing with someone in the comments below, if I left my hair to dry naturally it would end up one big curly mop! It's quite wavy, but not in a nice way unfortunately:/ More humid hair than beach waves!! Haha, so I feel the need to style the curls rather than go au naturel. Thanks so much for watching Lori and explaining my curious bang explanation:) xx
Came across this in 2024 as I have a new fringe and haven't found many good videos on what to do with it. This one was the best I've seen by far. Thank you so much! P.s. I love your lipstick!
@@FashionStyleEdit update: this way works so well. Prior to your video, I had such a difficult time getting my bangs to lie the way I wanted. Now, I understand how to dry them. Thank you!
Haha, I have a love hate relationship with mine I'll admit. The only thing I'd say is if it's very hot where you live maybe wait until after Summer because it does makes you hotter and mine then goes curly in the heat:/ I like mine a little grown out in Summer and cut in properly in Winter. Let me know what you decide x
Jess, you are a hair master! I am so impressed! For me, it is a lot easier to work on other people's hair than my own hair. But you are such a pro. You are a lady of many talents!

Hi Jess! 💛My very favorite is #9 (figures, that’s my birthday) but also all the versions of half-backs and the scarves. Your hair looks so pretty! I have about 3 hairs left from menopausal hair loss but Imma try a few of these. Never have been too creative in the hair department. Our hair is similar length and I’ve just grown my “bangs” out enough to tuck behind my ears slightly! Bangs- it’s all I’ve ever known 🤷🏼♀️ such a harsh word! Yeah, I also read about the horse tail. It fits ME as I can be a bit of a horses a$$ at times🤣 🐎 Have a great week!💖💖💖
Hello lovely, your fringe sounds lovely. I like it when it's that long you can tuck it behind your ears. Then you can do a side sweep thing or a really nice 70s modern flick. Fringes are more versatile than people realise:) I didn't realise the menopause messes with your hair:( That's a pain. What about some hair growth supplements do they ever work? Big hugs lovely xx
You look lovely in all the styles. Your hair looks in great condition, lovely and shiny 😍😍. Random question...Have you tried the Dyson hairdryer Jess? I’m in two minds wether to buy it or not as getting worried about too much heat damage.
Aah thanks gorgeous:) In fairness I literally cut off any rubbish hair the other week as it was driving me potty! Not something I'd advise as it left me with a slight mullet hairdo but it certainly feels in better condition!! I've never tried the Dyson hairdryer no, but I have heard on Instagram that people think it's amazing? Let me know if you get one and if it's worth it? Big hugs lovely xx
Hey Jess, some Google searching came up with this definition for bangs: 'The term bangs originally referred to a hair cut bang-off (straight across at the front), although the term is now applied to diverse forms of hair stylings. It is probably related to bang-tail, a term still used for the practice of cutting horses' tails straight across.' So there you go! Cheers, Tiina xx
Hi Naiomi, I'm not sure if they have a name? But what helps is I always tell the hairdresser to leave it long, at least below my eyebrows, and to cut it in a half moon shape. Hope that helps lovely x
Jess can I bother you with something in related to your fringe can you give me the name of the brush you use for your makeup application of bronzer and blush promise won’t bother you with this again and the color you wear in the YSL touché eclat thank promise sorry to be a pest much love
Hello lovely, hope you're well:) Please don't apologise I'm happy to help:) So my makeup brush I bought from M.A.C it's a large brush. They aren't the cheapest brushes but I've had this for over 10 years so they are worth the money because they last. On the Touche Eclat I use the highlighting pen and I have the shade Luminous Vanilla. Hope that helps lovely but feel free to get in touch if you have anymore questions. Big hugs, Jess x

Voiiiiiiiiiiiiiila 😍😍
Hey Jess, some Google searching came up with this definition for bangs: 'The term bangs originally referred to a hair cut bang-off (straight across at the front), although the term is now applied to diverse forms of hair stylings. It is probably related to bang-tail, a term still used for the practice of cutting horses' tails straight across.' So there you go! Cheers, Tiina xx
Haha that's brilliant, thanks Tiina:) I always wondered why, I should have googled it really! Tiinapedia!! Big hugs lovely xx

Hi Naiomi, I'm not sure if they have a name? But what helps is I always tell the hairdresser to leave it long, at least below my eyebrows, and to cut it in a half moon shape. Hope that helps lovely x
A looootttt of new videos but i keep coming back to yours. I simply love this!❤️
Aww that's nice to hear thanks lovely x
