I bought a beautiful collard type leather jacket from All Saints. Now, the piece that I really like is a bit oversized. So I sized down. But sizing down made the jacket too tight.
I was in-between sizes, which means the only option that was left for me is tailoring.
Is it possible to decrease chest size of the jacket? A small is way too tight on me but the medium leaves some room that makes it noticeable it’s a bit big on me.
    Thank you for your time.

Great youtube video, thank you.I bought a size 3X coat on amazon and had to return the coat for a refund because the coat sleeves were too tight. The amazon seller insisted that he goes by North American sizes but that is not possible because I have a U.S. made size 3X coat that fits me very well.I am well aware that different people require different fits but the sleeves on the size 3X amazon coat that I ordered then had to return for a refund measured 8 inches across the elbow section of the coat where as the U.S. made size 3X coat that I have measures 12 inches across the elbow section of the coat.As I understand it the larger the coat size the wider the coat sleeves must be to fit properly no?I ordered a coat from another amazon seller and people that have bought coats from the other amazon seller are also complaining saying that the coat sleeves are too tight.Logically as the coat size increases the width of the coat sleeves must also increase no?The amazon sellers insist that they are using North American sizes but from what I can see the sellers are too focused on chest width, waist width and sleeve length and are totally ignoring the sleeve width,am I wrong? The U.S. made size 3X coat that I have is a CAT brand coat and is not a special order,I bought it from the store's stock inventory.Another thing that really annoyed me besides the coat sleeves being too tight is that the coat that I bought on amazon rides up too high if and when I lift my arms while wearing the coat where as the U.S. made size 3X coat that I have does not ride up so high when ever I wear the coat and lift my arms.

@Muhammad Irfan Not to berate you but the amazon coat that I ordered, received and had to return for a refund was made in Karachi Pakistan. It was a size 3X coat but who ever made the coat made the coat sleeves too narrow so the coat sleeves were too tight for me and there was no relief between the coat and the coat sleeves so that if I lifted my arms while wearing the coat the coat would ride up too much.As tailors and coat makers in Pakistan you must stop focusing on just shoulder width, chest width and sleeve length because not everyone here in the U.S. has spaghetti thin arms and as long as tailors and coat makers in Pakistan continue to ignore the sleeve width of the coat that are made in Pakistan the coats that you make and sell will continue to be returned to you for refunds. The coats that you make there in Pakistan may be North American sizes but you are failing to make the coat sleeves the appropriate widths and that is why the coats that you make in Pakistan do not fit people here in North America properly because the coat sleeves that you make for your coats are too narrow and too tight. You are using the same width sleeve size for all of the different size coats that you make and that is a total waste of materials, money and time because the coats that you make are not going to fit people properly and the coats will definitely be returned to you for a full refund.
