I’m 5’9 with a long torso and shorter arms and a barrel chest and I always need my sleeves shortened.
Great advice on sleeve length. One thing though is that if you’re getting a horsehide jacket the sleeves will shorten a bit as they accordion. I highly recommend waiting till this happens before shortening sleeves

Always learning , its a good way to go , but some helping hands to avoid mistakes is always nice too haha
I'm a 5'7" male 120 lbs with a short torso, long legs (inseam 32") and 13.5" shoulders. Women's motorcyle jackets fit me way better than mens jackets. Mens jackets hit me at my hips and I can't zip them up since I'm wider at that point.
What shirt is that? The tan cowboy looking one, looks clean.

Hey ! Really appreciate you channel. I just got a vintage Schott 118 (mid 80's so the fit is similar to a 618) the length is under 24" and i'm 6 feet tall. I feel the jacket a tiny bit to short. What is your opinion on classic length? How tall are you because it fit just perfectly on you ? Is that normal or should i go for a newer model with added length ?
im 6'1 , my motorcycle jackets are the classic shorter body , wear em a ton

Thats our SS-13 steer hide western , we have a few of them arriving again in August ... and then will have some more in November early December

Short guys + long loose jacket = dorky .
