I'm not sure when you posted this video, but I went to the New York store and purchased the Perfecto Steerhide Motorcycle Jacket P613S, it has the blue flannel liner. I am 6'2" 205 lbs and generally wear an XL in all jackets and coats. The XL was too tight in the shoulder area so I purchased the 2XL and fits very well. The Steerhide does take some time to break in, but I agree with you, once it breaks in it is really a great jacket. I have been on my motorcycle and the jacket is comfortable. Thank you for your video. I do think it's a great idea to have a worn broken in jacket for people to try. It is difficult to understand that the jacket will break in that much, but it does. JP

Perfect length. When it comes to Perfecto it's all about the length imo. Mine is without the jacket-belt, I took it off. For me, when they're too long (that is for me: covering the belt of your trousers) they are totally lame. When they allow the belt to be seen, it's edgy and how it should be. Any other opinions on the perfect length of Perfectos? I know it's a matter of controversy.

They do made-to-order leather jackets, with overall build quality that is actually better than Schott (I know- I own jackets from both brands), and Simmons Bilt, if you go made to order, are actually the same price or even a little less than the average Schott jacket. Give their website a look over, they're very worth checking out.

Normally i order an xl (46) for leather jackets and when i got the 613 in 46 it feels like my movement is restricted, should i go up a size or just break it in?
The front of the shoulders feel a little tight and uncomfortable when wearing the jacket standing up with my arms down, especially when unzipped. I got the right size jacket and everywhere else feels comfortable. It's pretty broken in at this point. Is that something you noticed? The tightness is not terrible but it's something i think about a lot. When driving in my car, i don't experience that tightness it's just when standing up with my arms down and also when i'm walking. It makes me subconsciously lift my shoulders up just a bit in order to make that discomfort disappear.

These jackets modern cuts aren’t sized for full grown men. I have a jacket from the 80s that fits great. Bought a new one and my arms wouldn’t fit in the sleeves. The armpits cut into me. Lats were super snug while my stomach was so loose.
ur supposed to size up 1 size on the perfecto 613 and 618 in order to get the proper fit cuz Schott kept the same fit specs from back in the day when men had smaller frames.
@@saxenas I had a 613 from the 80s and it was snug in the stomach and fit me in the chest and arms. Wanted a new one, sized up and the stomach was huge and baggy and the arms and shoulder were so tight I couldn’t move. The cut changed.

In your video you said it’ll be slightly larger after it breaks in and when you first got yours you were 20 lbs lighter and it was tight zipping it up. I won’t be layering since I’m in Hawaii. it would depend on your style , a lot of smaller slimmer guys with a more modern style go with the 519 , if you have a little more of a heritage look the 613 can be better since its not so long , worn with the right jeans it can give you a taller look. feel free to hit me up direct and i can help you 604 229 2134
Thankfully I discovered the Vanson highwayman before I bit the bullet on a Schott. I didn't want to join the fast fashion fad train that is becoming synonymous with the Schott brand. The Vanson leather quality and workmanship are a step above Schott and much more comfortable for actual motorcycle riding. I do like the Schott jackets but there are definitely better options out there. Not a fan of those belts and epaulets on these jackets.
we used to carry Vanson back in the day. Vanson and Schott fall into our "entry level" jackets. Schott just has that Old history I dig. Def not our focus though

Thats correct , when i first got it i was 174 , when i was at my biggest i was 194 , now i sit around 185 /187 .
