Dasha, you are so deserving of this. Not only are you fulfilling a dream but also advancing your professional life in a huge way. We would be fortunate to have you in America for any length of time. Thank you for making our world a bit more connected.
Thank uuu
She must be mad to move from Moscow to New York. Moscow is much more superior in every aspect. Street crime and safety in NY is a huge problem.
@@Truffle_Young_Jr I can only speak for myself, in her shoes, I'd still feel the curiosity of a world famous city and newness of a foreign culture and peoples. It's an East meets west experience like Marco Polo and the silk road.
@@Truffle_Young_Jr 💀
@@Truffle_Young_Jr Its nor better in NY than in Moscow when we talk about Street crime at all.
Congratulations. American here and long time watcher of your channel. Welcome to our country. I hope the culture shock won't be too difficult. Best wishes in the coming months for you.
I had zero cultural shocks here :))
Believe me you'll soon be, America isn't a real place to even want to be.
@@DariStepThat’s saying something considering it’s New York. Even average Americans have culture shock visiting NYC.
@@nole8923that’s because, ironically, there’s some cultural similarities between Russia and New York lol
Bluntness, honesty, hard exterior kind interior etc etc
And there’s already a lot of Russians and ethnically Russian Americans in New York too, it’s a pretty go-to destination for Russians.
Welcome to America. NYC is a big place. Whenever you need a break from all the noise (and your studies), you have the rest of the country to visit.
Don't worry too much about vlogging in school- studies are more important. You and your friends are so optimistic in the face of terrible times, I just want to see you all doing good things out in the world.
Don't forget that as you are planning to be in the US for at least a year, you should seriously consider getting a US driver's permit. You don't have to be a US citizen to get one, you just have to have a permanent address. It's probably a lot cheaper and will be more practical in North America than an International Licence.
Glad you are able to live your dream in spite of everything that's going on Dari. Best wishes for your studies here in the US 🇺🇸!
Thank you so much!!
Crazy in three hours I’m leaving the US for Sweden. It’s been a year and a half in the making. Good luck on your travels and be careful in New York
Absolutely, you are a dear sweet young lady. Your family and friends are definitely proud of you. We can tell it's so obvious. Your going to do great!
Sweden is effectively USA, or at least a state of USA.
Dari, you put in so much extra effort and hard work to be a good student and realize your goals and aspirations, so you deserve all the great things coming your way.
Taking short cuts in life and being lazy is no way to live, and I applaud your work ethic.
I am rooting for you as you start a new chapter in the U.S. We need your perspective and your can do attitude right now. Enthusiastic young people like you are bringing hope for the future.
Thank you so much!!
Good to see you so upbeat wish we can get some that rain in socal hope you have safe travel
Wish you all the best, Dari! You are a super hard worker and an intelligent individual--- you will do well! 😊
Thank you so much!
Hey Dari... I look forward to seeing your upcoming videos, especially on how it is to live in the "Big Apple".
Many cheers from here in Ontario, Canada. :)
Congratulations! 😄
You get to deal with a whole new category of craziness.
😳😳😳 😎
This is going to be great. Can’t what to see you in the City. ❤

Hi Dari, welcome to the USA,! You are going to do great here.. CHEERS 🎉. You look great even with no make-up. So happy for you and Thank-you for sharing your journey.
Wish you all the best! so cute that your friends coming to see you before going to the USA.😊
Thank you!! 😊
Very nice video! Glad you were able to get together with your friends and have a good time. Now we're wondering how your apartment search is going in NYC.
Video about it is coming soon!
I could not understand why I had not seen any new videos from you, then discovered I had accidentally unsubscribed. Well done for getting to the USA wish you well.
This video popped up today in my feed. First thing that comes to mind: a lovely, positive person that would make it anywhere in the world. Simply wonderful.
Wow, thank you!
Dari welcome to the east coast hope you have fun glad to have you here be safe
Dari, with your work ethic and your background I have absolutely no doubt that you will excel in the US. And I'm pretty sure you'll find out that school in the US is much easier than what you've become used to. I wish you every happiness and hope your time in the states is a great adventure!
I hope about the school lol
What a pleasant and sweet girl you are. Wishing you all the best in New York. Glad you had such good time at home with your friends and family before going to the US.
Thank you so much!!❤️✨
This reminds me of the time I left the USA to live in Russia for a year. I really hope you are able to get up to New England in October to see the autumn colors and countryside, even if it's just a day trip (a long day).
That’s the plan ✨
You can do it. Best wishes from Denmark
Our country is very lucky to have you coming here. I know you are going to be very successful in life you are an inspiration. Much love from Virginia USA
Thanks for the kind words 🙌🏼
Thanks for the update! Glad to see that everything works so well :)
Welcome
you deserve it Dari! Congratulations. Sending you lots of prayers and positive energy for you and your future!!!
You have worked so hard, and I'm super happy for you!!
We’re happy for you. You get out what you put in, you are a genuine example of that.
Удачи and all the best. (Решила еще по-русски комментарий оставить, так понравилось это доброе видео.)
Спасибо за теплые слова ❤️
A major turning point in your life. Best wishes. Blessings. Be safe. Be well. May all your ups and downs have only soft landings. ☮☮🕊🕊☯☯🙏🙏4 peace in Ukraine.
Hey Dari, been watching for a while and super happy for you! It's funny to me that right as you are ending your digital nomad chapter and entering the United States, I am 12 days away from leaving the United States and beginning my digital nomad chapter in Europe. I'm sure that for both of us it is all happening exactly at the time it was supposed to. I can't wait myself and I wish you the best of luck with your studies and your new life!
Awesome! Thank you! Good luck to you 🍀
I've been watching your channel for a while. I hope you enjoy your stay in the USA and good luck with your education here.
I hope so too!
Hope you don't wear anything that represents your country because the u.s is a fake democracy.
Dari, I can't believe you are on our continent now. Congratulations and i hope you will be successful in whatever you do. It must have been hard to say goodbye to your family and friends. Hope you can get down here to Florida especially this winter.
Safe travels to New York, and make sure you are vigilant when going out in New York City because the city has very high crimes and when using the subway 🚇 be especially cautious as many people have been hurt and beaten. Good luck in your studies!
Please visit Northern California! Sacramento has REALLY awesome food!!!!
So excited you get to come to the USA for education!!!!
Good luck Dari. This will be really a fantastic new adventure. Wow The Usa.! Take care 💚💙❤️
Thank you! 😃
I am really looking forward to hearing about your impressions of the USA and your adventures here! But, your studies are more important so don't feel guilty about posting less often. We understand.
Thank youuu
Definitely, new jobs have to come first to make a good impression
It's heartwarming to see a good Russian girl such as yourself is pursuing your dreams. We accept many Ukrainians in my country (Japan) but I've always been thinking of (and worried about) anti-Putin, pro-democracy Russians. Japan is open to Russian citizens and we do issue work permits provided they can speak Japanese and has a university/college degree. Looking forward to your videos from the USA.
Very nice video Dari! I know you are already here in NYC so I hope your apartment hunting is going well. Thank you so much for this video and am really looking forward to your next one here in the USA. Stay safe and well!
Thanks Darell :)
@@DariStep You are most welcome. Wishing you the best!
What a trip from here to NYC 👍
Dari, I'm anxious to hear how much American English slang you pick up!!
Hi Dari ,hope your doing well over there ,nice video ,look forward to seeing your new chapter in the usa,,look after yourself and take care🤗
thats good news 🎉 always happy to see you chasing and living your dreams ❣️
Yes good ❤
Dari, it's kind of funny that, no matter how well you prepare yourself for the best picture on your license, your mug shot always makes you look like a wanted criminal! 😂😂😁😁! What an inspirational video, AMAZING (If Business does not work out, maybe you can become a producer)! It's interesting how big of a "TO-DO" list there is when moving to another country. Just when I thought you could not top Barcelona as a place to live, along comes the next big thing, NY! Note: Now I've heard (but could be wrong) that in Time Square the folks that dress up as your favorite cartoon characters will try to demand money if they are in your pictures or take pictures of them. Don't let them bug you! Hope all is well with your apartment search and looking forward to some US videos! Do you think your smile can get any bigger? Hope so! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Thank uuuu 😊
PS I actually like my picture there lol 😂
Glad that things are looking bright for you Dari I wish you Every success
Thank uu
I hope you will enjoy your stay in the USA. 😃😃😃😃😃
I hope so too!
Отличный материал, ждём новых сюжетов
Oh Dari!! Such a happy adventure ahead! You did much better I would've. I hope the young Russian Vloggers in America come together sometime. Compare activities, impressions, faults you made and others laugh, achievements, new friends, EVERYTHING! You are going to be a hit! I wish you all the best for your studies and stay in America.
Will do 😃
Some dreams come true, and yours came true because you worked every day, every week, every month, every year to make it happen. The universe asks us to do more than just pray for blessings. You are a person of action! And I am now a permanent fan!
Don't worry..MBA is not so bad.. I have 5 graduate degrees.. MBA is weekly projects, lots and lots of writing papers.. Accounting, Statistics are the worst. You will be ok... They will explain everything..
One tip.. you need your classmates..
They can help you... Study in groups.. Do internships and work...
NYC is super expensive...very.. I used to teach there... Get monthly transport card..it's cheaper... Shop in Chinatown, or warehouses...travel in groups watch your back...stay next to people on subway... Don't carry money.. protect yourself... You will blend in just fine... You have to learn to write at University level... Once you figure it out, it'll be fine... You can get used books, highlighted is best...used laptop... Control costs..
Make sure anything the university tells you...get it in writing... The number of courses, graduation dates, costs...any student loans avoid them... But get everything in writing...
We also had torrential rain pretty much every day in Québec this summer. I think it's a global thing. Apparently it's sunny in Vancouver though! I'm flying threre in 4 days!!! Only for 5 weeks this time, it will go too fast.... but as usual, my cat is coming with me!!!! Lots of adventures await ✈
Have an amazing trip ✨
Dari, eu iti voi scrie in Limba Romana. Ca sa vezi ca postarile tale ajung peste tot pe Mapamond ❤
Probably by the time we see this, you are already here😊. Welcome, welcome, welcome! we are lucky to have you. Can't wait to see your next vid to see how your first days were. I'm sure there will be many surprises; may the good ones far outnumber any other kind. As business was my major and field of endeavor, it was smart of you to bone up on some business concepts and jargon. But I'm confident you will do just fine. MBAs are programs that are designed for people of many different backgrounds esp. non-business ones. Rooting for you every step of the way💕
Thanks a lot ☺️
Watching from India,🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Welcome to the USA, Dari! It will be interesting to hear your impressions of life in the New World from the perspective of one who is Russian-born.
Don't be surprised if you find you are experiencing some manic-depressive mood swings in the early days of a whole new life. That's just your subconscious mind dealing with change, cataloging the changes and the evaluating effects of the changes. I'm sure you will quickly learn that New York City is not New York State, and New York State defines its own kind of crazy, unique within the United States. (And you will find that the same thing is true, from Pittsburgh to Port Angeles. It's all part of the entertainment, folks!)
Yeah, one'll do well with a "live and let live" attitude about various distinctive parts of the *vast* U. S. A. One can choose where one wants to call home. There is kookiness in different places. One should just try to fit in while in transit through these places.
I didn't expect to see little dots turning out to be *hundreds of cows* covering the *vast* flatland near the *big-sky* horizon. It's a geographical shock to me accustomed to the City of New York where small sky (because the sky is often flanked by skyscrapers) is the norm.
Be realistic about how far one can drive in a single day before nightfall, especially in bad weather.
Three drivers turned out to be just me hauling everybody safely home through stormy bad weather and no-man's land for hundreds of miles. Other driver was (speeding by *my definition* in the bad weather and road conditions) *hallucinating* seeing many "ghosts" in the weird fog formation around a rock-blocked corner and squeaked to a halt -- I decided to take the car over, driving it all the way home). That experience finished off my wanderlust.
Always check the weather and road conditions especially if driving far away from urban areas. Bad weather can turn a few minutes of driving into hours or even more !
congrats! i watched your other video about the New York life. How did you manage to come to the US when both countries are not in good terms? I thought that the Russians are not allowed to come into the US?
Congratz me personally St.Petersburg looks pretty
Well done Dari!
Congrats and feeling happy for you! You'll bring some positive vibes to NYC too!
Hopefully 😅
Welcome to the land of the free,
home of the brave!!
I am so excited for you Dari - enjoy the new chapter of your life 😊
We're you able to hear from Natasha and Alina before you left?
I’m sure her friends in Georgia have already sent their congratulations! Hopefully, they’ll be following suit at some point in the future.
Good luck to you Dari. I hope that things work out well.
who will be the lucky one who is going to give her a permanent visa because there will be many candidates 😅
Interesting
Had me choked up at the end!!!! 😭❤
100% you will be successful and have a fantastic life, through your determination ,love and inspiration. ❤
❤️❤️❤️
So exciting! So stressful---and so wonderful to have such wonderful and supportive friends. The USA is very lucky to have you come here with all your experience and insights into the world life!
I'm so happy for you. Dari. You deserve it 100% ❤
Greetings from California. Very excited for you Dari on your new journey. Looking forward to the updates.
Congratulations! When you do have time to make vlogs in the U.S., hopefully you'll make vlogs not only from the 'good-looking' side but from all sides that most viewers wanna see. Good luck.
That's the plan!
Thanks DARI for sharing your life with us 🙏 you are the best 🤗 please keep up with the great work you do for me ❣️ I like to say you are still so GORGEOUS 😍 take care of yourself and be safe beautiful 🤩💝
Greetings from New York City: Welcome home. Frank Sinatra says it all….”if you can’t make it here, you can’t make it anywhere”….. Never fear , there is always something here and you’ll find it. As for your profession NYC is the best city to find your future….. REMEMBER-NEVER FEAR ANYTHING.
Selfishness-is the new satisfaction…..
Now that you’re ready, your future begins and you mustn’t deviate from your career….in New York City, Dari should always be first (with your family always in your mind). Secondly, focus on your studies and nothing else. MBA is your goal….. then your future in BANKING & INVESTMENTS.
When you’re short of funds, find a part-time job just for Grubbs(food). Never be ashamed….. As for Love, wipe it of of your mind…… EAT PIZZA INSTEAD. 😁that will came later… (much later)….LOL
GOOD LUCK…..(a friend) Joe
Do film your flight from Moscow, your layover in Abu Dhabi and your arrival in New York! Looking forward to the record of your journey and safe travels to the USA. Best wishes on the new chapter in your life! 😊
Thank you 🙏🏼
I wish you had found a school here in north Texas! Congratulations and welcome to the USA.
GET OUT as fast as you can, Dari!!! Wishing you all the best!!
She has *great* timing, getting out of Russia !
Fantastic! I am happy for you. Hope you enjoy the U.S.
Welcome to New York City:) you should schedule a meet up with your New York fans and subscribers at Times Square 🤔:)
One day 😃
Great way to end your Moscow time with all your friends. They clearly think great things about you as we do. Even the sun came out after a while! Hope you found somewhere to live by now but I know it's hard.
Greetings from New York City: Hi Dasha….since you are now settle in NYC, A job will be the next step you need to secure your income. I figure if you need to do your schooling full time, I can help you on the weekdays with a healthcare job. Let me know and reply. Good Luck. Joe.
I'm in Eastern Canada and we are also getting rain like every other day. Conditions in July and August have been cloudier and rainier than what is normal.
Look forward to you travelling around the USA: New England, The South, The West. You will find them all much different than New York City and travel will open your eyes to the living options in the States.
Can’t wait 😃
It's freedom ! Remember though that being your own pilot requires exercising restraints and prudence. Always keep in mind what you are striving for. Then you'll have few regrets about the choices you make.
Congratulations!
Do contact a fellow Russian that has done what you are doing!
He got his MBA and is now running his own RUclips channel in Canada!
His site is called "The Russian Dude"
I bet he can give you lots of good advice as he has taken every step you are about to.
Again, congratulations and keep posting!
Желаю вам счастливого пути и крепкого здоровья, куда бы вас ни завела жизнь. любви и мира тебе, Даша❤✌️
Спасибо!
Congratulations on your new life in the USA.
BTW, your Russian driver's license is only temporarily valid in most EU countries for six months, during which you must pass an EU driver's license test.
Yeah but at least it’s valid for 6 months!
It's usually much easier and cheaper to get a U. S. A. state's driver's license before your old driver's license has expired.
Continuity is easier than starting from scratch. Generally speaking, once you are out of the City of New York, you *need* to have access to a car to get around conveniently. It's best if you know how and are licensed to drive because there's so much infrastructure already built to support car-centric life style in the U. S. A.
In urban New York, however, driving a car is usually not as convenient as taking the subway, due to traffic congestion as well as significant parking time and expenses.
If it takes me 15 minutes to find parking for my car, I may as well have walked to a subway station. The subway system is almost always running continuously non-stop since 1904. Superstorm Sandy did halt the subway but that's a rare occurrence.
I Hope you get to see thru all the noise and static and grow a future that makes the world a little better...
Welcome 🇺🇸
How can help me sister
6:44 😆 Every time the camera falls like this when i am filming, i tell the viewers "Are you tired? You guys need a nap?" etc 😆
Good luck. When I was about your age I lived in St Petersburg for 18 mo. It's funny my street in the suburbs near Boston has had an inflex of Russian families since the special operation started. I am enjoying my new neighbors. Welcome.
I wish you the absolute best in your travels and studies in the USA. Maybe our paths will cross here in the US someday.
Thanks!
Dari I hope that you find happiness in the USA and I hope that you decide that you want to remain and build a life here. Good luck and thank you for all of your videos.
Glad you made it, Dari! Between school and work, I'm sure you're going to be swamped. Take care, have fun, and don't burn yourself out. In the unlikely event you get a minute, I'd love to watch a video of your first impressions of our country. 👍
Side comment: I got emotional when you hugged your friends. I'm moving to Europe permanently in a couple of years and I know I will have this experience so it got me quite weepy.
First. Moscow looks very clean, nice and buildings are colored nice. Gray city, hmmmm?.
I must admit, Moscow looks mutch better then Belgrad. Ok, better?. Beter sentence is: Buildings are maintained better, color on the walls of buildings are fresh and clean. Moscow is NOT gray
city.
Belgrade is gray AND GREEN city. Green because of huge forest surface inside the city, gray because bunch of old yugoslavian MODERNISM(it is movement in architecture of former
Yugoslavia) buildings, some will call them comunist buildings and bunch of new glass buildings in New Belgrade mostly. Both are dominant in New Belgrade.
New Belgrade is the bigest municipality in Belgrade and Serbia, youngest municipality also, founded after WW2.
It is only municipality in BG with planed build. Around 400 000 people.
For me, Belgrade is better but Moscow looks very frfesh and nice.
Second. I wish you ALL THE BEST in your future life in US and at studies.
THIRD. See you in Serbia for 3,4,5 years. You will come here with your future family to live and work here.
I hope I won’t need to move there 😂😂
@@DariStep Do not vorry, you will come to live and work here by your own will. You will marry serbian or russian guy in US, you will meet him at school(colege, faculty, i do not know how Americans call it) and you wil come here with him and your fammily by your own will. We have around 20 000 US and canadian citizens living and working in Serbia alredy. The most of them are not Serbs. You will be 101156 CANUS citizen.
that sandwich looks GOOD! make me hungry yuummy
Welcome! And we are lucky to have you. Many Americans don’t realize that the tech boom of the 90’s and 00’s was driven by the skills of the Russian immigrants.
