      You can clearly see a patern in the responce. The strong opinions often pulled towards putins side, then most were neutral and loved every country and respected everyone, and then some gave a clueless responce like * They changed president so the I dont like them anymore. But you can see that many looked scared.

      As a language teacher, I've noticed that students often bond over shared struggles in learning. It's amazing how vulnerability can create connections. I remember one particular class where I had students from Russia, China, and Brazil. At first, they were shy and hesitant to speak. But as they started making mistakes and laughing at their own pronunciation blunders, the atmosphere completely changed. By the end of the course, they were helping each other, sharing study tips, and even organizing language exchange meetups outside of class. It's beautiful to see how the challenge of learning a new language can break down cultural barriers and foster genuine friendships. In my 15 years of teaching, I've seen countless examples of this phenomenon, and it never fails to inspire me.

She taught me to make borscht and pelmeni, while I showed her how to bake chocolate chip cookies. By the end of my stay, we were chatting away in a hilarious mix of broken Russian and English. Food truly is a universal language!

      Our world has been turned upside down. This is a joke, I hope your laughing. You know the legend of King Midas? The king that turned everything he touched into gold. Everything the Russians touched in the last 200 years also turned into something, but not gold. I mean, go on Google maps, street view, go to any place in Russia outside central St. Petersburg and Moscow, look at the "houses", at the "streets", this is the standard that we had in the west in the first half of 20th century. Same goes with medical supply, I hear from Russians I meet that people on the countryside die from easy treatable diseases cause there are no doctors. A quarter of your population does not have flushing toilets, a third of the male population goes to prison at least once in life. Look at the cases of domestic abuse, on the rates of alcohol abuse in the population. Hundreds of thousand of young men died in Ukraine already. This country is devastated in every possible regard. Despite the natural resources you have not any approach on the challenges of 21st century, and in your desperation you act violently. Thanks for the interviews. It was highly illuminating and informative. I would think that a lot of the opinions with young people has to do with the internet and their ability to communicate outside of the country, where as the older people are less inclined to do so and have less open attitudes. Greetings from California.

      It is definitely true, while it also has to do with the old USSR school and the Cold War times, when young (atm) people were told the government's point of view. Just as it is now - propaganda started returning to schools, even for the 7 y.o. kids, who are obliviously often too young to form their own opinion. We believe in the best tho - even the darkest nights end with a sunrise. :)

      We need to think more broadly. The government is just lobbyists of financial elites. The enemy of any country is the owners of large private property. In Russia, in Germany, in Canada, in Japan - the faces are different, the meaning is the same. Only by getting rid of capital first, and then of our national state, will we be able to build a world based on justice, love and progress. And then the true history of mankind will begin.

Yes, prejudice, bigotry, greed and hatred still exists today, with many governments repressing their citizens by removing or highly restricting basic human rights through authoritarianism and dictatorships. It’s definitely a world with uncertainties right now, however, if more people adopted the younger generations attitudes, we would be that much closer to world peace.

      Poles and ruzzians _don't mix._ The Poles know ruzzians well enough. Likewise with the Balts.
      In the beginning, ruzzians always behave like charming angels. As soon as they are more confident they will stab you in the back. They are distasted in every country they occupied.

    Most older people are actually mature enough and have gained enough information to know the reality of which countries are cruel in terms of foreign policy. On the other hand, the younger generation is less active and less interested in examining foreign policy.

      They are also permeated with a Soviet and further Russian propaganda. The maturity is not a sign of any political awareness or whatever. They are in fact much easier electorate to manipulate than youngsters

    • @barbaduzas
      @barbaduzas 7 месяцев назад

      You are either Russian propaganda or do not understand a thing. Old generation went through a Soviet propaganda machine. I have my parents that went through that. My father is actually reasonable enough to understand that it all was a bullshit, but many of the kids of that time believed everything they were told at school. Even after school programmes were targeted against the West. They need this cause they can blame the West for everything bad that happens to them. Now this is happening too, but because the world is so global, the younger generation can access more information around the world and not just believe what they are told in schools or TV propaganda.
