I can't wait for your next upload, Dari! You left us on a cliffhanger and the suspense is killing me. All the best to you no matter how things turn out.
You did all the proper preparation for the Visa, and you’ve left and returned to Russia over the last several months. I hope and pray that your Visa was approved. Your heart is in the right place, so I hope your next video has good news! Удачи! 🌹🙏☘️
Outstanding Dari Step! You have answered or read so many comments that other content creators can't come close to what you are doing. You are very smart, and you deserve to be free.
wow, I just saw the vlog about Portugal. You came through that with super maturity. It's a beautiful world when you know you can ask for help and you get it. What a daunting and scary experience when something terrible like that happens. Keep doing what you do. ;~)
....... CLIFFHANGER!!! I think you got it. Italy? France? It's good to tell your state of mind. I do it too. You can't show only good stuff otherwise, we would run out of content. I shot a video today with another local RUclipsr, we went thrift shopping, found lots of treasure, i stayed within my budget and we ended the day at a chocolate shop. So much fun!!!! It's gonna be up on my channel Friday ❤
At the very end when Dari opens her new passport, she looks at the camera and blinks, not once but twice. We know from the movies that one blink means "NO", two blinks mean "YES". So based solely on my flawed reasoning it's a YES. Congratulations! But seriously I hope it did work out for you. Safe travels.
Dari, You know how to keep us in suspense. I really hope you get good news. Thanks for taking us with you. You sure have to go through a lot to get your Visa in order. Best wishes to you. As usual you look great.
Hi Dari. You had lovely weather there during this video being made. Most of the snow that was here is gone. Spring is just a couple of days away. Thank you for sharing.
Dari, there is only one gentle suggestion I would make about this new video. I would change the graphic in the title card to: "Rejected?" with a question mark. That way it fits with your video's theme of wondering whether or not you received your Visa. Otherwise, it looks like a statement of fact. It will help with any grumbling that might occur that you are click-baiting your audience. Having seen your prior uploads, I know that hasn't been your style. Anyway, just a friendly idea.
Dari, you have worked so hard to gain 30k subscribers. The proof is in the quality and quantity of your videos. I hope your channel continues to grow and flourish.
The restrictions have certainly made if harder, more expensive and time consuming for you to go through the visa process. Things were so much easier not so long ago. I was lucky in my youth not to have to deal with all this bureaucracy. Not sure I would have been such a willing traveller if I did have to deal with all of that. Really admire your dedication to pursuing your travelling dreams despite the burdens of all this red tape. Good for you and good luck with your application. I am thinking you will likely seek out the warmer countries for your visa application so guessing this will go back to Greece. Maybe not - but that is my guess.
You are a good person Dari and very humble despite of discrimination from the others because you are a Russian.Keep humble ❤️ support from the Philippines
You are a beautiful soul who's a light in this world. Don't ever let the haters get you down. Wow, that is a lot of paperwork. How challenging. I hope this worked out for you, or that you will have a wonderful time in Asia, which is also great.
I don't know you but you must be a good person to love dogs so much. You even give the street dogs love that is wonderful. Never give up on your dreams no's always turn into yes. Best wishes from the Americas
Some EU countries are still interested in Russian tourists. But in general it is currently difficult to get a full six-month Schengen visa. You must prove that you will return to Russia. If you have a well-paying job in Russia and if you have an expensive house in Russia or have school children, it becomes easier.
You can have a 90 days for tourism or business purposes. However if you are planning to study, work, or live in one of the Schengen countries for more than 90 days, then you must apply for a national visa of that European country and not a Schengen Visa. Also the visa is only valid for 90 days in a 180-day period of time even if you hold a multiple-entry visa for Europe valid for up to 5 years.
What an interesting video today. First I hope you won't let the TROLL'S mess with you. All the hate is completely unjust and you are simply getting targeted by lesser, small and narrow minded people. Don't feed the TROLL'S by answering or giving them any attention. I hope your YT community will help and support you in this. At least your baby boy enjoys you being home and spending time with him. Your description of applying for a visa is just as complicated that I feared. But you seem very organized and managed to coordinate with your friends in Europe, very nice job. I don't know if you got the visa or not??? But you leave one hell of a face in the end... A real cliffhanger that leaves the viewer just as anxious as you probably feel. In any case, I know that you can deal with anything and that you will allways be allright in the end. Best of luck to you!
Dari is learning the art of the cliffhanger! As for the haters , there was a saying : if you don’t have any haters you are doing it wrong! Are you going to stay mainly in the country that gave you the visa or go to others in Europe as well?
@@DariStep you were waaayyyy to happy yesterday to have been rejected. So I think it’s a pretty safe bet. Also I’ve watched enough tv shows to guess the end of a cliffhanger 😁

You mentioned Malta in your video. I have a holiday home there. A very beautiful country with a very varied and interesting history. There is quite a sizeable Russian expat community here. You hear Russian spoken everywhere and there are even some shops catering for Russian cuisine. I have friends and relatives who rent out property so please contact/connect if you want any help or advice.
Good luck Dasha and thank you for another interesting film, otherwise many people around the world would never see anything about Russia except what appears in the headlines.
Hi Dari Please be careful. I know it's difficult but try not to let it get you down. Just keep being positive. Don't overwork yourself and please take time to destress and decompress. I hope you get a visa soon and travel again. Stay safe and be well 👋😁
I know people who have worked much and they have been burned out because of too much work and stress. We also need to get rest and relax from the work one day in the week.
Dari you are so mean to us with your incredible video ending! I hope you get the visa you hope for, but even if denied a trip around Asia will be a great time I know. Is YouTubber not a recognised employment option for those forms you had to submit. I would think getting an income from your various sources would be acceptable, especially as you earn mostly the same regardless of which country you are in and would naturally promote that country just by being there! Let's hope you get the result you really want!
Although I sincerely hope to be wrong, I doubt that you got the visa. In the video you already mentioned that you couldn´t comply with the employer's declaration, which can very likely be a breaking point. Issuing of Schengen visas has becoming extremely strict, particularly for people from Russia.
I have enjoyed your travel videos very much... We all have this paperwork and we pay more... I do not think we need insurance except if we drive and it is not covered by our regular insurance... The grey is from the tilt of the earth... Thumbs up as always...
As a response to the beginning of your video, Dari, I will quote a favorite comedy of mine, "Strictly Ballroom." The motto of the film is: "A Life Lived In Fear, Is A Life Half Lived." I feel for Russians of good character who want to live a full life free of oppression and lies. That said, I look forward to watching the rest of your insightful video.
Well What I know about you. 1) You are a honest person and give your true thoughts, feelings and opinions in your videos. 2) You are loyal and love your country. I have always sensed a love for country in your videos. 3) You go the extra mile and put in the extra effort to help those who are your friends. 4) Friendly and Courteous to others. 5) You are not a criminal and obey your countries laws. 6) Solid traditional religious and family values. 7) You are very persistent you continue on despite discouragement, criticism and even hate. Overall this makes you a solid citizen. So I think you will receive a Visa.
I could not refuse you anything Dari.... I do hope you get it.... I am trying to watch all of your Vlog and I will watch it all... Eventually.... Stay safe and enjoy your time with your Friends and Family..... :-)) xxxx
Dari, You are so cute, and I love your content! You are very intelligent and brave to do all that you do, traveling so many places. I hope to meet you one day 😊 I spent a lot of time in SP Russia and in Hungary. I loved both but found Hungarian culture to be more welcoming and laid back (even more so than Austrian culture). Check out smaller cities like Pecs and Szeged, plus Lake Balaton. I hope all goes well with your visa process!

If you can make it to the U.S. then you can cross any state lines accept for Hawaii and Alaska because you either have to cross the ocean or go through Canada but the other 48 states are no problem. It may be possible from Washington State to take a ferry to Alaska but I have never been out west as I live on the east coast of the U.S. but a lot depends on your availability of funds. Many people in other countries can't believe it but yes you can either drive or even walk across state lines. There is actually a spot out west where if you stand in a certain spot then you are in 4 states at once.
Dari, Read the hate comments you showed on your screen. If I were you I would block them from commenting on your videos immediately. No sense in letting them spew their hatred for everyone to see. Very interesting. Thank you for sharing. Watching your life is like watching a drama unfold. What's going to happen next? Of course we wish you the very best under the circumstances.
Please don't let people get you down because it is a unfortunate fact of life that some people jump at commenting before knowing, (or seeing the whole video), and what's going on and some people are just jerks. Hopefully everything will work out. At least your photos turned out beautifully📷 and your little boy is happy to see you. 🐕🦺 We are all pulling for you.🙂🤍⚘️
Go to Mexico! There are tons of Russians, (and Ukrainians for that matter) who have moved to Mexico. Many now work in the tourist industry, and some have even made it into the entertainment industry. Many are living in Mexico City, Can Cun, Puerto Vallarta, Playa del Carmen, etc. Many Europeans and Americans are now living in these area. Good luck and welcome.
I heard the UK is offering new residence permits for Russians called the Global Talent Visa scheme. I think people with diplomas, digital nomads can apply. British residency also gives you access to whole EU too
The calls to stay home and fight for regime change are made by people who have never had to fight for anything themselves, and are based on ignorance, hatred, and a lack of historical knowledge. Most sane and intelligent people can distinguish individuals from their country and their government. Only via communication can we hope to progress as a diverse society.
Yeah, I think you got it- there was a tiny grin on your face even though you were trying to hide it. That's great, you deserve it! If I'm wrong just keep on trying as you'll get where you want to be eventually.
55 square meters is like 600 SF! That's crazy 4 people live in such a small space. Crossing my fingers that you get a great scholarship in another country. Those passport photos turned out great!
So many challenges, but you come up smiling. We live so well in peace on a large island in my part of the world where the sun shines most of the time and only occasionally a bit too well leading ultimately to bushfires. I wish I could reach out and share some of our good fortune.
Dasha!! You deserve ALL the support, and NONE of the hate 🤗But... As RUclipsrs we know: haters gonna hate 🙄 Really appreciate your direct style: about how you feel, and everything else 💙 About Master's in the US. We've DMd about this, but I don't think we mentioned that if you get accepted and start your studies, other opportunities become available. They are called "assistantships" and it's basically work for grad students: research, teaching and whatever else professors may need help with. Best of luck with that and your Schengen Visa application(s) 🤞 P.S. At first I thought it was Niki Proshin at 9:59 😅
Some people have no idea what it's like to live in a situation like yours. It's hardly understandable because in the west we're receiving a lot of information not only about Russia's invasion but about the violation of civil and human rights within Russia. Much of that is reminding me of a very unfortunate period in German history. I'm wishing you good luck and good success. May times change.
I advice you to stay safe, like your friend told you, dont take any risk because the People who criticise you from abroad would have hide under the flor if they where in your position. Its easy to criticise when there is no treatnen.
hi Dari, as a cynical person, when i saw the pixelated page as you were leafing through your passport i guess that you got your visa. however i could still be wrong. got it or not, best wishes for the future. perhaps you can next meet Natasha and Alena for coffee in Santiago...

British residency also gives you access to whole EU too
I'll never get used to the UK's use of the word "scheme"
@@AA-gd5tl UK is part of EFTA like Norway, so there is still Visa free access to all of Europe and Schengen Zone..
Thanks for your support ☺️
55 square meters is like 600 SF! That's crazy 4 people live in such a small space. Crossing my fingers that you get a great scholarship in another country. Those passport photos turned out great!
Thank you so much!
At first I thought it was Niki Proshin at 9:59 😅
ahahaha thank you so much! And yes, I'm applying to all assistantship jobs possible... didn't get a feedback about it yet(
@@DariStep So, _not_ Niki making your passport photo? 🤪 I haven't watched his videos in months, so who knows where he's at now 🤷♀
@Amy Couperthwaite Oh, I _see_ them in my feed, I just never get to _watch_ any of them based on when he posts 🤷♀️
Cliffhanger!!!!! Oh Dari!!!!
I can't wait for the epsiode 2
of this drama.
Ahahah a story of my life lol
Great Blog ❤️🩹🫶
I search for work ..my job is electrical maintenance or any work I can do
Some people have no idea what it's like to live in a situation like yours.
I enjoyed it
You will find your way, I have no doubt. I just hope that soon it will become easier for you (2:26).
Thanks 🙏🏼
hi Dari,
as a cynical person, when i saw the pixelated page as you were leafing through your passport i guess that you got your visa. however i could still be wrong. got it or not, best wishes for the future. perhaps you can next meet Natasha and Alena for coffee in Santiago...
We that have TRP in russia, can we also apply for Europe visa?
