Just some English advice: You did not “break” your knee. You injured (or hurt) your knee. Breaking means a bone is in more than one piece.

It seems they (US) put the VISA on a specific page ( like page 23 ) probably so they can find it easier.
Also, you probably want to go to Niagra Falls for your visa. It’s half New York and half Canada. Just don’t slip over the edge.

Before my wife immigrated, the US always placed the visa in the back of the passport. She had three visas in her Turkish passport before becoming an American.

Dear Dari this is your entry visa to get inside the USA. You have to gain additional info from a foreign office for students in USA to get your temporary residence permit. You don't need to go back to Europe to renew your Visa. Visa is just for entry.

Nice, I own a jet and I travel to NYC every 2-3 weeks...right
I don't know what is the cost of even renting the apartment in Manhattan but I know real estate agents with 20+ years of experience who can not afford to live there but in Brooklyn.... bye
Life is not milk and honey , just to add.

@@maksimm.8502 I lived in a etc sf apartment on the 15th floor with a window looking out into the air shaft. $1,700 a month 10 years ago. The building was bought by a developer and want $3,000 a month for new lease, My apartment wasn’t rent controlled. There was no way I could stay on the money I made as an artist. I was doing okay for an artist but there was no way to remain. I moved to New Haven. Wasn’t very happy there, moved to California, and my work sells. I still miss NYC, but not the winter. Hurricane Sandy was a trip. I still haven’t experienced an earth quake other than some tremors. No reason to be mean.

I really don't think it will be difficult to get a visa to come to the U.S. as a student. I live in New Jersey and I must tell that there are millions of people from Russia living on the East coast of our country. You will also be welcomed, even though a majority of people here in the U.S. do not care for the War in Ukraine, and the fact that our nation is pro-Ukraine. That war has nothing to do with the good honest young people from Russia. I have seen your videos in the past and find you to be a brilliant and creative young woman. You deserve a chance to expand your education here in the U.S.
Btw, you're going to love NYC! The food and culture of that wonderful city is unlimited, I hope you finally get your chance to come here soon.

I was wondering how many weeks you were back to Russia, from France, because I assumed it would take a long time to get a US VISA in Russia (Now explained)! So dangerous to get a US Visa, hope your knee is better! By now, your probably in New York and getting moved in. Welcome. Hope your 2k/month place is bigger than my closet! Congrats on getting your Visa! I live in Washington state which is also known as part of the Pacific Northwest. I highly recommend you visit the Pacific Northwest if you can, its very beautiful. Fun fact: in Idaho there is a town named Moscow. I grew up in a town in Idaho 45 minutes away from Moscow. Now I live on the Washington state side but right next to the Idaho border, takes 15 minutes to drive to Idaho 🙂. Oregon is also part of the Pacific Northwest. We have beautiful rivers, lakes, ocean beaches, mountains, woods & Washington has several islands too. Its such a magical place to live & a very atmospheric place to visit. There is even a dutch town called Leavenworth surrounded by mountains that is beautiful all year but especially at Christmas time, all the buildings are in dutch architecture/decor. There is also a lot of historical sites like Lewis & Clark historical sites, native American sites and the Oregon trail sites too, definitely a fun thing to check out if you visit.
I hope you enjoy New York and your masters program, glad you made it here to the USA safely!

I'm sorry Dari, I skipped to the end, because I didn't want to see you crying.
(congrats, don't worry about the visa period right now, at least you got it, worry about the rest later)

Dari Dari Dari…the consumate female who just cannot resist the opportunity to shop and acquire new clothes and things! Why wouldn’t you just take your white jeans to the hotel laundry service or to a cleaning service? Lol Congratulations on getting your visa and completing the final requirement to begin your schooling in the USA!! Good luck!!

It largely depends upon how one fits in and one's mindset, whether a "horror movie" can be entertaining or scary.
