I own a Nissan Sentra with a cvt and is weird in the beginning but you easily get used to it is just manner of time and is really practical and the power is there when you need it just don´t expect marvels
This reminds me of the Geo Tracker/Suzuki Sidekick of the mid 90's. I guess the only other vehicle competing with the Murano CrossCabriolet is the Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible.
I appreciate Nissan"s creativity; but this is an answer to a question no one asked. I wish Nissan would have used that creativity into making an great new Altima(That thing needs an overhaul bad).
@theladyshoes The top of the Line Murano is 47k. But a similarly outfitted X5 is much further north than 47K. So lets do a real apple to apple comparison.
I would disagree the B6 Audi A4 with a 1.8T & CVT is a peach. Its holds rev at 2.5 or 3K with normal acceleration which is perfect because thats the engine 100% torque and 70% power and low noise because the turbo aren't fully spooled. It's tiptronic mode is also superior to others, u can fool passenger that its a DSG (minus the dirty sound dsg make when they shift)
@loganhyper1 Agreed, but the BMW X6 isn't trying to be a convertible...The Murano is a fine SUV, Nissan didn't have to make the convertible because it is useless.
I niche I didn't know existed...You mean a niche that doesn't exist. Nissan has not created a market dominating passenger vehicle in as long as I can can remember. Unless someone cares to prove me wrong.
@roadflytv I'm not arguing that a well-equipped BMW is going to set you back (altho you could buy CPO and still be well w/in the $46K range). My point is that Nissan has inflated their prices so much that they are not competitive with Honda, Toyota, etc- the manufs. they should be competing with. I just bought a 2011 Volvo XC60 3.2L R-Design for $46K. A Nissan could never compete with Volvo for quality/reliability yet they charge at the same price point or higher for a car half the quality.
IF it was styled more boldy like the fx and had the option of one of the motors that the fx offers (like rwd) i wouldnt mind owning one... i personally like 2-door suvs and the slick egg shape of this one is ok. BUT as mentioned this is more directed to the female market...now if only Infiniti would make a fx version of this for the fellas ;) BTW you looked great in a dress :D
Emme, you look so good in that dress! You're so pretty! Now about the car - at first, I thought it was one of the ugliest things that I've ever looked upon. But now, it actually looks pretty awesome! Also, I am a little interested in being a car reviewer like yourself when I become older. So, what were some of the things that you did to get this job? Any tips? Thanks for taking the time to reading this if you did! - Eric.
@theladyshoes Not sure why you would say Nissan has gone down hill. The Murano is a really solid vehicle. I like the ride better than the X5 I've driven.
nissan knows how to do a cvt but seriously they have so many issues over time. this would lower their reliability score therefor consure reports will hate them
Isn't the point of a crossover (CUV) to have a car-like driving experience with a certain amount of utility? As Emme points out, it drives poorly and it has no utility with 7 (!) cu.ft. of storage with the roof down... Also, I think it looks ghastly (shout-out to James May for that adjective) and very expensive...
@omendark123 Have you ever been in a murano? They are really nice cars, and have always been really expensive. That being said, it is very ugly, but so is the cube and so was the micra and those both sell fine.
@prscrazy519 look at other convertibles...(volvo, g37, bmw 3..etc) are all smaller with less truck and rear space...this is expensive...but a better value in terms of being a convertible
I'd rather get an audi A4 convertible. The only thing making this a SUV is the low mpg, great visibility, and tank-like weight. Otherwise you're driving a heavy, non-sporty, over-priced 4 seater convertible.
I have to give it to Nissan for being brave and making a car like this...but if I may be honest, it looks like someone took a regular car and chopped the roof off post-purchase...
So what exactly does this thing do better than a regular luxury vert? It's ugly, it's heavy, it get's poor mileage, it doesn't hold anything, and it's slow. What's the point?
"i think the ladies are going to love the Cross Cabriolet, cause you want to know why, it's because your on top excuse me on top of the world" hahahahahahahaha was that a mistake or a read between the line type of comment???...hahaahahah very funny
a new cabrio suv? what about international pick up, suzuki tracker, that ford bronco on the ´70s, land rover discovery 90, etc. etc... and hello! JEEP. i can mention hundreds around the world.
@roadflytv actually, according to bmwusa.com, the X5 starts at $47,200. Beyond that fact though, is that Nissan has take a useful crossover and turned it into an overly expensive, useless toy. Now, sure, many Americans love spending loads of money on useless things, but I am not one of those people. This car will be a short lived fad car, too expensive for the typical Nissan buyer and too Nissan for the typical buyer for this price range.
@sullyFL I used to be a fan of Nissan myself. I've always liked the 370Z and Altima and am still a fan of them. However, over the last few years, they have introduced the Rogue, Juke and Cube, all total failures in aesthetic design. Moreover, the interior quality has seemed to fall, possibly to be more in line with American cars (much like VW has done with the Jetta). Moreover, I'm less impressed with the price point (not counting their cheap, low end cars). This is just my opinion. I'll pass.
You are so HOT in that dress and you make this Nissan look good! Awesome job once again on your car reviews. You have a great future and I hope your boss reads this comment.
This will be a failure, just like the PT Cruiser Convertible, and the Dodge Dakota Convertible. There are just vehicles that you do not make a convertible. An SUV is one of them.
I have to say these reviews are very accurate. I thought the same exact thing driving the car. Defiantly listening to road fly T.V. for reviews. Emme hall or whoever wrote review was spot on on everything in this video. She's also right this is a chick car lol.
@lauriejamesmackeson BIG risk?? I think you are understating the risk. The cost wont stop them selling it. Time (and sales) will only tell. If (in her opinion) she is wrong by as much as I think she will be, I hope she apologises as I will if they do sell to 'noticable levels. Great review of a CRAP car. Apart from the drop down roof I didnt hear anything positive about the vehicle that would justify buying it (even if they dropped in $5K).
I fookin love Emme, her reviews are awesome. I also love Nissan, their styles are so unique, and the quality is top notch in its class.
I LOVE Emme's reviews!
"To say that it's nimble is a complete and utter lie.."
Hahahha I love you Emme! Keep up with the awesome reviews!
Emme, well done on your awesome review! love the honesty!
I'm really liking Emme in these reviews.
She's one funny presenter. Love her perspectives and style. :)
besides steve hammes, Emme you definitely are one of my favorite reviewers! i laugh everytime im watching a review HOLLA!
oh my favorite reviewer.
I actually really like this car. Should have been done as an Infiniti though, with styling more like the FX.
Thanks for the review. It helped us make the decision to buy one.
This car makes the new BMW 1 series hatchback look like a gorgeous beauty.
@hallassracing549
lol glad you replied :) what would you purchase next?
48k? NISSAN????
great review!!!
Shes gettn better:)
"i think that the Ladies will love this car because you're On top.. Excuse me.. Other world" lol
Love road fly what cars do you think are good for teen ager
Tesla model 3
I appreciate Nissan"s creativity; but this is an answer to a question no one asked. I wish Nissan would have used that creativity into making an great new Altima(That thing needs an overhaul bad).
i love the car. it looks amazing and emme is a really good presenter. xx
lol i love emme, awesome personality
I really like this car. Looks more like a girly car but still pretty cool. well done Emme
@theladyshoes The top of the Line Murano is 47k. But a similarly outfitted X5 is much further north than 47K. So lets do a real apple to apple comparison.
Correct me if I'm wrong but, 3 year old z350 convertible + 2 year old Murano = $48,000
when will they do a new video
does it come in hardtop as well?
You should have adapted "sunroof, HOLLA!!" to "convertible, MORE HOLLA!!!!" for this lol
Did we see you look down at the dash to get the warrantee info at 3:46? Emme, you look fantastic in that dress!
what does emme drive
I love the idea of these, i think they are cool looking, now an SRX cabrio would be right up the with kittens and apple pie for awesomness!!
What about an electric version?
well who's going to be next???

what music is this? i like it.

BTW you looked great in a dress :D
It looks wayy better than the juke
I want a 'I LOVE EMME' T-shirt
"like my dress"...go topless!!...I love Emma, she's so 'tonque in cheek'!
Emme, you look so good in that dress! You're so pretty!
Now about the car - at first, I thought it was one of the ugliest things that I've ever looked upon. But now, it actually looks pretty awesome!

@theladyshoes Not sure why you would say Nissan has gone down hill. The Murano is a really solid vehicle. I like the ride better than the X5 I've driven.
If it wasn't a nearly $50,000 Nissan, I'd give it a chance. It just costs too much.
Fills a niche that never needed to exist.
Pontiac Aztek?
nissan knows how to do a cvt but seriously they have so many issues over time. this would lower their reliability score therefor consure reports will hate them
lol. Ladies your going to love this one.. because your on top.. "silence" excuse me.. of the world.. haha
@method55 side not though, great review as always.

The grill makes it look like a boat? Funny. Didn't realize boats had grills.
FLY RIDE? How about Fly, Fresh and Def? Word.
Hollah! :)
1:23 .....Damn Looks at those Gams!
Roadfly FTW :-D
@SGTcarrottruck The Maxima and Altima are also GREAT cars. But for performance GT-R all the way.
@omendark123 Have you ever been in a murano? They are really nice cars, and have always been really expensive. That being said, it is very ugly, but so is the cube and so was the micra and those both sell fine.
Hey it's better than the PT convertible!
A niche I didn't know existed? I feel like a niche requires an audience. I don't see this having one. Big SUV, with no storage or real utility.
Dress not fail! She needs to go to church on Sundays with this dress.
Looks like someone started with a saw-zaw then said fuck it.
i love the car! its cool but love your shoes more!!! lol
@prscrazy519 look at other convertibles...(volvo, g37, bmw 3..etc) are all smaller with less truck and rear space...this is expensive...but a better value in terms of being a convertible
I dont care about the brand but if I am paying 60k, i want at least an Infiniti
Looks like the 370z convertible that went to McDonalds! :)
@theladyshoes Thanks for clarifying.
$48k wow just wow.
I'd rather get an audi A4 convertible. The only thing making this a SUV is the low mpg, great visibility, and tank-like weight. Otherwise you're driving a heavy, non-sporty, over-priced 4 seater convertible.
ladies will love it because they are on top.............of the world lol
Perfect li'l car for Emme to review! Edgy and different cars belong to edgy and different girls...
I have green hair. If you and I got together it Christmas would come early this year!!!
Beautiful dress! Much better.
ladies you'll love it, because you're on top
*ahem* excuse me, of the the world... :D
If this was only meant as a cruiser, I rather ride low than high.
That's the old Infiniti G35 engine.
"i think the ladies are going to love the Cross Cabriolet, cause you want to know why, it's because your on top excuse me on top of the world" hahahahahahahaha was that a mistake or a read between the line type of comment???...hahaahahah very funny

um, no. there's a reason why this is the first crossover cabriolet. nissan, you've just gone to an all-time low.
she is funny and pretty..good at what she does as well
@sullyFL I used to be a fan of Nissan myself. I've always liked the 370Z and Altima and am still a fan of them. Emme Hall is fine with her 1930's looking self..lol
don't like the car, but i like HER!!!
I'd rather have a Prius 'vert :)
This will be a failure, just like the PT Cruiser Convertible, and the Dodge Dakota Convertible.
There are just vehicles that you do not make a convertible. An SUV is one of them.
boat on wheels?
seems perfectly suited for women though.. high, soft ride, convertible
(3:07) HAA!! I get it!!!

It's different. I like it for that. I think it'll either be a trend setter or a total flop, though.
That car looks like a giant slipper...
$48k For a Nissan Murano?!?!?!?!?! BUY A G37 CONVERTIBLE!
@hallassracing549 i know
For 47K, you can get a 2010 BMW 3 Series. An infinitely better drive.
@prscrazy519 my comment exactly
