I test drove this vehicle today. I had to drive it because I could not get over the fact it was a crossover convertible!! Amazing drive!!! Its roomy with very comfortable seats! Being 6'5 I would have never thought that there would be a drop top that had the seating comfort of a Cadillac!! If all goes well this time next year I will get one!!
Got one for my wife. She wanted a convertible, and I wanted an SUV for occasional jetski towing to the lake. This car was a solution for both, while giving her more protection than a standard convertible on crowded highways. AWD, heated mirrors, seats and steering wheel are nice for occasional snowy days. Got ours new from Nissan Dealer in Alabama for 41,200 plus tax.
@stevehammes I think that this is one of those cars that appeals really well to the general public and not very much to enthusiasts. . . which would explain why we think of it negatively and the people that came up to you loved it

This means that it's going to sit higher off the ground. And did you ever think that it's not sold in Canada because a convertible in general is illogical for that part of the world, not because it's going to be a flop? And what does 2 vs. 4 doors have anything to do with whether it's an SUV or not? The Ford Bronco only had 2 doors.
The ONE thing I honestly hate about this vehicle... and this is coming from someone who loves the design of it... is the engine!!! $48,000 and you get a V-6 making 250ish HP at 22mpg highway at 0-60 8.2sec rating As much as I love this car... and I'm really not kidding, always been a fan of convertibles, and fell in love with the BMW X6 that I got to drive a few weeks back... this combines the two! BUT, this being slower than a Chrysler Town and Country actually irritates me beyond belief!
the is250c and 328i aren't faster than this and more expensive when equally equipped so the only thing thats a negative about the cc when compared to the lexus or bmw is the mileage but u can use the $3k+ u save buying the nissan to pay for gas, and u get a trunk and large backseats so to put it into perspective this really wasn't such a dumb move on nissan's part if anything this is the better car and i'm no nissan fanboy either

@tiverton It has plenty of power for what it was intended. Not a sports car. But a nice cruiser with soft ride. Nice sound system, loaded 20 CDs into music box and still only 5% of space used. Airbags all around. Standard Navigation, DVD, blue tooth calling and streaming music. We take this car whenever we go somewhere together. Even though people stare at me behind the wheel of this Caribbean color Nissan, I really enjoy driving it comparing to my Heavy-Duty Diesel GMC Pickup.
@jsiszero Agreed...I guess Nissan has forgotten that a SUV with a short wheel base tends to roll over in avoidance maneuvers. Pretty much ensures a death sentence for anyone in the car if it rolls over. Great Job Nissan.
