  • In this video I give a full in depth tour of the all new 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet AWD. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

      Bob Belcher Pushed through development by Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn (from Brazil) and only sold in the US. I think the only thing 'Japanese' about it is the badge?

    That was a GREAT review! I have had the car since 2011, and didn't know a few things about the car that now I want to check out!! But here's a feature you might have missed .. If you hold the unlock button on the key fob you can roll all of the windows down to cool off the car during warmer weather!! 👍👍

      @@Nestle245 it's great! Engine is still strong! Top is working great just over 48k on the odometer we got it back in 2011 with zero miles on it so it's in pretty good condition.

    I actually like the Chevrolet ssr in blue and silver blue for top bit and silver for bottom half of body.This looks ok

    Bought this a couple of weeks ago for me and wife Anniversary. looks great in person has any and everything you ask for the AWD is a blast to drive price is high though but you get a great car.bought a new truck Titan the same day,Nissan makes good stuff we will see how it goes GTR are the Nsx next

    i never thought nissan would ever make a convertible version of the murano of all cars. i could imagine making a coupe with a hardtop similar to a Toyota FJ Cruiser or a Ford Bronco but not a convertible!

    The first SUV automatic convertible is actually the G class cabriolet and its sold everywhere except in North america though it is sold in Mexico. by the way the Murano is actually the first crossover convertible.

    @recommendme I believe it's mainly for the reason, so a few people could ask that exact question. Ensuingly it's possible that the designers realized somehow, that on occasion their vehicle will be in the state with its top up, in which case, the view to the rear will be more restricted.

    The CrossCabriolet Murano is only available in 1 trim level which is the LE AWD, as noted here. (Note from GrandPrixGTP02)

    Same VQ35, sounds different than 350z.
    As a VQ40 Frontier + Magnaflow sounds closer to 350z

    Nissan is the best Japanese automaker IMO, and all Nissan's have have the nicest quality interior in their class.
    Although this is a chick car, i personally wouldn't drive it, but its a nice over all vehicle.

    excellent IDT as always.. I've noticed, since you're connected, you can go dealer to dealer - so with that in mind, any chances of us seeing an IDT of a SLS AMG in the near future? would be greatly appreciated if you could put that on your 'to do' list - IF and when you do, could you please spend an extra 60 seconds concentrating on the door and body sills - keep up the great work!

    Even though I'm a total Nissan fan I don't like this vehicle at all. But you have to give them credit for thinking outside the box. Who would have thought of a crossover convertible?

    that retractable top mechanism is very complex. It would probably cost a fortune to fix when it breaks. Great video as always Kyle.

    Im sure it has something to do with the limitation of actually making a convertible...when you make a car a convertible you create more stress points cause your taking away a roof and then you have to put in stregthning bars to keep the car from falling apart.

    @VIRAJ818 this was originally an Audi concept, who also called it the "CrossCabriolet," although the 2 words might have been separate. It was never put into production, though. but who would ever want to buy a crossover convertible? because nearly $50k would buy me a really nice Merc or BMW, so why would i buy this?

    Those who say it's ugly probably couldn't afford it anyway. It's geared towards upper-middle class empty nest, baby-boomers who couldn't care less about sharp handling and no longer need a ton of space. This is fits their needs quite well.

    @dxsmth the ctv transmissions are actually good in a way to make lower horsepower cars fell like they have more power by keeping the revs from the transmission in the powerband all the time it blows how nissan puts it in the maxima and cars like this they should just stick it in the low power cars they make but nissan makes the best cvts out of every1

    I don`t dig the design, however you have to give the Nissan design team credit for trying something completely different.
    Most cars these days tend to follow the same design-language.
