That Spider-Man & Miles scene always gives me goosebumps, imagine being at an all time low after losing someone you love & then you meet your hero & they’re everything you thought they were & more, it hits you in the feels.
To answer your question at 17:44: YES, there is a bull statue in that spot, but in the game, it’s Lockjaw from the Inhumans
If you want more backstory on the characters (including Tombstone), you can check out the Character bios on the map menu. It'll explain how Tombstone sees and feels every time he fights Spider-Man. Him saying "I like you" to Spidey makes it more meaningful. :)
And it's written by Peter so it's also hilarious
New York has the brass bull. The one in this game was replaced by a statue of the Marvel's team "The Inhumans" pet dog Lockjaw. He's a giant, super strong dog who can teleport.

When you finish Spider-Man, I really hope that you'll also play the amazing Batman Arkham games, Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, Batman Arkham Origins, Batman Arkham Knight, which will help you also become more familiar with the world of Batman Because the live-action movies don't do a great job of portraying the overall mythos of Batman. Just please don't play the remastered versions of the games because they're not very well regarded by fans.

The suit mod that I personally can't do without is the one that slows down time on a perfect dodge. I'm so used to it that not having it in the Miles Morales game made it a lot more difficult for me.
I think that mod is in the Miles game but it's only unlocked in New Game Plus.
There is a mod in the regular Miles game that increases the window for doing a perfect dodge, which is almost as good.

1:24:30 that mission was for night time, which it was when you exited, but since you did it during daytime it switched to that right after the event was over. Your confusion is understandable.

1:22:17 I think in the comics Tombstone used to be a tough but otherwise normal guy until he was exposed to chemicals in an Oscorp plant that made him superhumanly strong and tough. And there he's pale because he's an albino.
6:10 Spider-Man 2099 is such a cool suit. Summed up Spider-Man 2099 is the Spider-Man of the year 2099 known as Miguel O'Hara. While working at Alchemax he attempted to re-create the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people and later suffers a related accident that causes half of his DNA to be rewritten with a spider's genetic code. This is all set on Earth-928 a possible future of Earth-616, in which the world became embroiled in a massive civil war between humans and mutants. Following years of fighting, the humans won the war, but suffered tremendous losses. Even fewer mutants survived. Does Miguel exist on Earth-616, who knows maybe there's some comics that deal with time travel and reveal that there is a Spider-Man 2099 in the mainline universe but from my understanding the future of Earth-616 is unknown.
Spider-Man 2099 seems to be inspired by Batman Beyond an amazing Animated Series that was apart of the DC Animated Universe. Set 20 years following Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures and 15 to 17 years following Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. The show follows Terry McGinnis in a futuristic Gotham City under the tutelage of an elderly Bruce Wayne after he retired as Batman in his 50s a decade before the start of the show. The big difference between Spider-Man 2099 and Batman Beyond is the time gap with Spider-Man 2099 featuring a much larger gap between Peter Parker Spider-Man and Miguel O'Hara while Batman Beyond is just a few decades with Bruce working beside Terry along with older versions of characters from the Batman Animated Series. So the concept of there being a futuristic version of Spider-Man set in a cyberpunk setting is very much pulled from Batman Beyond.

Heads up on Miles Morales. It is so short, it's practically a DLC. I think it is about as long as the 3 DLCs for this game put together.
It was originally made to be a dlc but they decided to make it a game so they can charge more money
Tip: while web swinging moving forward, hold X then release to boost your speed a bit.
Also, there is a skill to select where you can jump higher by holding X either while standing or running then swing.

It's so insane that Peter said he could punch Tombstone for days and he wouldn't feel it, I don't know if Peter is pulling his punches but assuming he's not and Tombstone still can't feel it that's is very scary lol 🤯😳
Tombstone has rock solid skin and is invulnerable.
Spidey pulls his punches when he punches people because he knows that if he hits them as hard as he could he would likely kill them. This has been established in the comics long ago.

The headset thing it measures the brain waves and in 3 milliseconds the prosthethic is going to do what your body's thinking

I am loving Spiderman Remastered. I struggled to find a game I loved as much as Hogwarts Legacy but Spiderman is up there for me. I hated these drone ones through!
Ya know MJ sorta had a point. Peter really needs to have some faith in MJ's skills as an investigative reporter and stop always trying to save her unless she really needs to be saved.
Hi there, I am amazed with your gameplay acumen, you perform all battles and web-swings masterfully. If you keep this up the transition to other spider games will be even easier to go through. I also have been watching your Hogwarts gameplay and I am so happy for the game, everyone in my family is an avid Potter fan and I can hardly wait to see you uncovering more secrets from my favorite fictional castle. Anyway, guess it is time for some quick tips:
- I noticed you taking a few dips and dives during the web-swing challenges, you adapted remarkably well but do not forget that you can always perform a great manuever by pressing the jump button right on cue. Press the jump button while still holding on to the web-swing button to jump right out of your webs and gain more momentum. Hit the jump at the end of a swing to gain more altitude or in the middle of the swing to gain more speed.
- Your swing kick is an amazing skill and it can become an even greater asset in battle after its final upgrade, check the skill tree and you will find that the swing kick can also be used to knock back enemies wearing shields and heavy armor, keep increasing your proficiency with using gadgets and other skills in mid air, you might need those for future battle encounters.

I thought MJ was being unreasonable, blowing up like that at Peter. He only tried to help, and it wasn't like MJ told him she'd be going to a base full of armed people.
She didn’t tell him because she was handling it well on her own as we’ve saw. Peter ruined it. It’s weirder he can see through things in certain situations but couldn’t see through the tent and if Standish actually had his finger on the trigger.
Everyone says MJ is in the wrong when she’s proven throughout the game to be a brave and fearless character. You won’t make a difference in the world by letting others do all the work and doing nothing.
@@MalachiPlaysGames when you don't have super powers playing hide and seek against armed criminals and murderers isn't the smartest idea ever. That's not brave and fearless, that's just being stupid and suicidal. She's risking her life cause she want to prove something, cause she's feeling inferior next to a superhero. The only reason she wasn't killed years ago was her plot armor and we all know it.

@@Pir-o It’s not but people risk their lives doing other things every day (police, firefighters, pro wrestlers, boxers, construction workers, pilots, etc). And journalists have especially been known to risk their lives doing foolish stuff so it’s technically in character for this new MJ iteration.
And plot armor has nothing to do with anything. Luck, stealth and timing are things which you simply underestimate so that sounds like a you problem. I’m sure anyone in the real world could do what she did and get out alive unnoticed, it’s not that hard to imagine. She’s more smart than you and others take her for.

They are all trained professionals that spend years trying to do their jobs. She's basically a teenager fresh out of highschool that's way over her head cause she's trying to prove a point, cause she's trying to compensate for something.
Those segments were easily the most silly part of the game and that says a lot in a world filled with superheros in costumes and a giant guys dressed as a rhino. So yeah, I'm not surprised that in the real world most people side with S-M when it comes to this topic cause her attitude is simply ridiculous. You are literally the first person I seen who sided with her and tried to defend her actions lol.
It might be "in character for this new iteration of MJ" but her character is ridiculous, that's the point. When the line between life and death is one guy just accidentally turning around, she's just asking to get killed. And the funniest thing that literally all of those things could be achieved by spider-man easily. So she's hoping for luck and risking her life for nothing, just to prove a point instead of picking up her phone.
And it's pretty clear that's where they were going with that. If I recall correctly she even admits that at later point in the game, so yeah.
But it's a shame they never had a point in the story where this plotline has a good payoff (Maybe it was cut, maybe it was part of dlc they never finished? Who knows). But instead of a proper payoff we just had a short conversation where she admits she was doing it because of her ego.
Oh and btw, Miles segment was ridiculous as well. The kid just parkours on burning rubble while people are getting executed right next to him by terrorists. Jumping on stuff and performing incredible stunts like he was already bitten by a spider (and he wasn't at that point in time). But hey, at least he had a believable motivation for it. Still, his abilities seemed exaggerated. But at least that you can explain with them just reusing existing game mechanics.

In Peter’s defense against MJ’s anger at the beginning, if you were Peter (who has lost loved ones before, one he constantly blames himself for) and saw the silhouette of a person holding a gun up to MJ, can you really blame him for jumping in to ‘save’ her from what he thought was a threat?
I get MJ’s anger at Peter constantly wanting to save her or talk her out of situations that he thinks might be dangerous for her, but looking at the situation at the Sable Compound with the scientist from his POV, can you really be that mad at him?
That part was one of the few things in the game I was not happy with.
Sorry for the rant about that scene, it just always annoys me.
Peter should have taken a second to see what was going on inside the tent before leaping in. If that had been a villain then they could have shot MJ when Spidey jumped in and surprised him.
But because he was worried about MJ that overrode his common sense of being stealthy and careful.
Pls change suits every episode, I love the Raimi suit, but it's kinda getting bland and annoying just seeing it every episode
