- Should You Buy Spider-Man Remastered in 2022? I replayed Spider-Man Remastered since it just came out in 2022 and it's a childhood dream come true. I love Spider-Man and Spider-Man games were a big part of my childhood so getting to play this awesome game on PC was a great experience!

It's been so long since I enjoyed a game this much and played it till the end. Other games made me quit after 2 3 hours but this one kept me playing for hours. I had a great time and I recommend to everyone

Got it 2 weeks ago & it’s definitely worth it. Great story, great gameplay, great traversal & great customization. This review pretty much hit the nail on the head. It comes with the DLC too which unlocks more suits & advances the story even further
I got a ps4 like 3 weeks ago and got the platinum, upgraded to a ps5 3 days ago and first thing I got for it was the remastered edition. The game is so good and reminds us why we love Spider-Man
I love this game to bits but if I could change 1 thing it would be the use of villains. They are all really great but we spend a lot of the game just chasing Martin li. I really wish we got more of the sinister six and the boss fights with the villains like electro and vulture were fun but I wish there was more to them. You just defeat them and that’s it. I don’t know if this even make sense lol but all I’m saying is they could have used the other 4 villains a lot more rather than them just be like 1 boss fight and in 2 cutscenes
That’s a great point I also feel if they were going to have Li be such a big villain the plot twist should’ve been better developed. They revealed he was the villain too soon and too suddenly IMO

i don’t think spidey with his experience in this game would have a problem with the Sinister Six 1v1. maybe younger , newer spidey would but not older pete.
Ever play a game thats SO GOOD that when the credits roll, you feel compelled to not skip them? For fear of some type of wrong doing when the names listed just delivered a Masterpiece. This is one of those games! I almost bought a PlayStation for this title, the fact that they ported it to PC for us is such a HUGE win for all of gaming! Totally Blown Away at the emotional investment in this title! It's truly a work of art! 10/10

I'm a xbox player & have am xbox series x but was still playing this on PS4, but Spider-Man 2 is only on PS5. I just got a PS5 BUT haven't tried Spider-Man Remastered or Miles Morales on PS5. Though Miles Morales is short I loved it sooo much & play it over & over again but Spider-Man PS4 is pretty long
So it's definitely an experience ESPECIALLY with the dlc, u really get ur money's worth, so im hoping Spider-Man 2 will be just as long

Spider-Man is a game for all time, ngl. The only thing wrong with the remaster is the character model not looking as comic book like.
I haven't been able to play this yet, but I absolutely remember Spiderman 2. I played the shit out of that. There was also a comic book bases Spiderman from back in the PS1 days.

8:54 it’s also good how they made Tobey Andrew and Tom into one it has Tobey strength Andrew speed Tom fighting style and gadgets and it brought all of their villains together but it would have been amazing if we get too see mysterio and have a fight with those drones where it changes the background and then it doesn’t tell us what too do we just learn through the mission

Great video, I completed the first game a while ago when it first dropped on PS4 Pro. As a big Spidey fan this was a must and I would like to go back and finish it again on my PS5. I want to check out the Miles DLC and get prepared for Spidey 2 maybe next year or 2024.

The main mod I would like to see is one to have earbuds, so you can play your own music as you swing.
I wished they make a spider man game where we could change out our suit as we please, like if we get tired of being Spider-Man we could just get out the spider suit and roam round the city as Peter.
That playstation intro in the beginning when opening the game gives out so many teasers of what other ps4 exclusives that could get released on pc! (looking at you last of us..)

Yes, 100%. This is the best spider-man story I've ever experienced. Better than No Way Home without a doubt. This is another of 2018s masterpieces.
My favorite Spider-Man game of all time is still Spider-Man (2000). The story was cool, the enemies were interesting and the game wasn't easy.

I got a ps5 in January first game I played was this and got my first ever plat on it aswell one of my all time favourite games behind TLOU and Elden ring.
Just started the remastered for the first time. I’m really enjoying it so far.
The game is optimized really well with the PC port. Nixxes indeed did a great job with it, i can only hope Ghost of Tsushima will get the same treatment when it too will release for PC's eventually.

Spider-Man Remastered is probably my favorite remaster, I know is weird that I have a favorite list for game remasters, and shows how a remaster should be made not a damn expanded and enhanced edition that looks just on par with the PC port of the game that released nearly 7 years ago.

I can tell you have a list of remasters, taped to your bedroom wall down in your mothers basement. You have a list, but you don't own a house or car now do ya jackie?
Man they working on some Hella Mods that was no lie for sure.. The Mods alone are going to make this game even better, Hell I dont even use the quick travel feature.. I also played on PS so this to me I feel the same loving it.. This will probably be one of the few that I actually am going to try to 100%.
Funny part is I played Miles version first. Now I look at it, they are not so different. The combat, the web slinging and side quests. I guess good part is one has extra electric powers😅
Sorry to say I've never played Spider Man.Just one of those games I've never got round to buying it.I'm gonna have to see what the sequel is like though and you can't go wrong with Venom

Imo it's a 100%go for it if you haven't played it already on a Playstation but if you did already only buy it if you are a hardcore fan of Spider-Man 👍

One of the reason i have not pick this game up yet is that i feel like this is another goon beat em up game like the batman series. No challenge just 'ez-ing' every fight.
Best game I ever played, you are absolutely right about the amazing swinging and combats making it non repetitive to go through all side missions and collectibles.
I 100% completed this game including all DLC and still come back to fight random crimes in the city and swing just for fun.
About the game being easy, the bosses are too easy but with regular combat I make it harder for myself by avoiding the use of health boosts and finishers as much as possible to make the combos look more professional and make the game harder and actually more enjoyable. that apart from the DLC which actually has some decent enemies.
Only thing I wished for in this game that wasn't there is that I wished to be able to replay any story mission after beating the game since ... you know ... sometimes your mind remembers a certain mission that you enjoyed and you wanna go play it instead of beating the whole game for it ... specifically missions with sick QTE and cinematics like the one where you chase the Demons chopper.
Overall spectacular game for a spectacular Spider-man and a spectacular video from you.

i feel like if the mary jane and miles sections had tazer guns the whole time it would make them alot more tolerable but yeah i 100% agree those sections ruin the mood for me every time i have to do them.

I can't imagine Dark Souls giving me a full tutorial on how to beat every new enemy I fight... but I can imagine Doom Eternal doing that... because it did, and it was lame. Fortunately as soon as I found the option I disabled these "helpful tutorials". Because seriously... half the fun of finding an enemy I haven't fought before is figuring it out! I don't mind it being an option for novice players of course, but c'mon, at LEAST present that choice when selecting a new game.
If old Bioware wrote a Spider-Man story, this is the story they would have told. Well maybe not this exact story obviously, but that is the quality of the writing in this game (Except a few of Mary Jane's lines where she acts like Lois Lane with Borderline Personality disorder, so expect to both love and...dislike her depending on the scene) is that good. The story premise is _that good._ It's like the Mass Effect 2 of Comic book Action games. If this were a Spidey comic run it would rival the early 90's black suit/Original Symbiote run. The Green Goblin to the death of Gwen Stacy run; it was bloody incredible. It would be the *BEST* Spider-Man movie ever made, hands down. The writers at Insomniac and voice actors were absolutely off the hook and the animators made the most realistic _real_ city I've ever seen. I just finished the main game (91% or so I believe) and am still shocked by the quality of this title.
I'm not a big _action_ game fan, at least not like this. I'm far more into C/A/RPG's with the occasional shooter or sports game thrown in. The new _Tomb Raider_ or _God of War_ games are about as _"Action"_ game threshold for me, but again, the story was so good I didn't mind learning the gameplay, and ended up having a blast with it instead of tolerating it for the stories sake.
I played at 1440p, Ultra textures, Medium crowd and traffic density, High everything else, using a 5800X, a 5700 non-XT with 32GB of DDR4 PC 3200 cL16. It was installed on an Evo SATA m.2 and with FSR 2.0 I averaged 87.9 FPS while without FSR I averaged 61 FPS, with 1, yep 1 instance where I noticed lag. I did have quite a few crashes hitting the window key and doing something else with the game still running which I found odd, but only 1 or 2 crashes outside of hitting that darn windows key. The graphics really were stunning, complimenting the story exceptionally well, and by the end of the game I was even having fun catching pigeons.
Again, brilliant game, doesn't require a current gen $500+ USD GPU to run well (I bought my 5700 new in 2019 for $300 USD), and even if it ran poorly, the story would still be worth it. I can't recommend this game enough. 8.5 out of 10. As close to the perfect Superhero game as I've ever played, including the Arkham series. Fan-fricken-tastic. Now stop reading and go buy this if you haven't played it yet ;^) .

i hate it when they unnecessarily change faces in these remastered. just seeing the comparison you showed in this video, not only does the original look better but more detailed too.
they did this in the ps5 version of the last of us too, they made tess look older and uglier for no reason and completely took away any desire i may have had to buy it. i just started downloading the remaster for spiderman and am kinda wishing i just bought the ps4 version, where the faces don't look so overly bright and artificial. the ps4 version probably has a 60fps patch on ps5 anyhow.
i prefer the ps3 version of the arkham games over the ps4 versions for the same reason, the visuals just look more natural on ps3. some remasters just can't get the visuals right and they lose the natural look they once had.

I like easy! I know I'll get my money's worth. Nothing is worst than paying for a game too hard to play. Spent $10 for Ori and it's ridiculously hard. Feel really bad for spending $10 on it. For $60 it better damn well be easy or playable. You want hard, turn up difficulty or play rouge games.

The gameplay is too repetitive, the story is lackluster!!! I didn't like playing as MJ and Miles (I bought the game to play as Spiderman). If I didn't have the option to skip the puzzles I wouldn't have finished the main story. The Graphics and the web slinging were A+.
