@@davidbjacobs3598 Morbius was the result of Morgan Michaels' science experiment basically. At least in the 1963-onward comics, Peter tried to modify the product to get rid of his own powers, but ended up growing 4 extra arms. I think Dr. Connors helped him fix it.
Symkaria is also referenced in Spider-Man Miles Morales, where peter flies there for a job “vacation” helping mj in the daily bugle

Fun fact: Stan Lee did not intend on killing off Gwen Stacy in the comics and pairing Spidey with MJ. To him, Gwen was supposed to be his only love. So making him say that line (in context) is either just a coincidence or Insomniac cheekily making him give up his old romance ideas and accept the new normal.
He didn't mean "together again" as in "a couple together again", but rather as in "working together again" or "spending time together again" since they don't actually start dating again til later. Also, he refers to them a his "favorites", not "favorite", because he's not referring to them as his "favorite" couple, but that out of all the chaeacters he created, they are his "favorites"
In the context of the game, they've been avoiding each other since they broke up, so they haven't spent any time together in months, even though they (and Harry Osborn) are supposed to have been inseparable friends in this universe.
