The spider that bit Miles was from Earth 42. When he tried to leave the Spiderverse HQ, he ended up going back to Earth 42. Notice the theme?
42 plays a big part in miles' story. His spider has 42 on it and if you remember in the forst spider verse movie you get a quick shot of the lottery ball that gets miles into visions academy and it says 42 on it.
Another cool detail - Sandman is established to be weak to water. One of his memory crystals is near a water fountain, and if you get his clones into the water, they instantly disappear! The team also went all-in when it came to thinking of details and recording stuff. My favourite part about the sandman fights is that if the building you are on has a fan and you get a sandman clone to walk on it they will blow into a massive cloud of sand
Hunters can show up at the tail-end of a fire cult crime, but I've never seen them interact directly. I believe one of the voice lines a hunter says goes along the lines of ignoring the others, go after the Spider-Man. The fire cult has no bearing on the main plot unlike the hunters and symbiotes, at least until Insomniac their conclusion to the fire cult storyline.
Another detail is when going invisible near the sandman clones, they can spot miles while invisible because of the pressure he puts on the sand, which is, in my opinion, a cool detail!
Spider-Man(The Cat) also shows up in the final celebration mission when Miles recovers all the historical instruments stolen from the museum. He's got the mask on and is riding on Teo's shoulder.
In the one of the music museum missions you play as a spider bot going through the museum. There is a large room you go through with various instruments. These instruments react based on where you shoot them. Like the various drums and cymbals on the drum kit play their respective sound. Also, each key on the piano and marimba are programmed to react when walked across. Such a nice detail but can be easily and permanently missed unfortunately so definitely try it out if you can!
When you play as Venom escaping Oscorp tower, one of the cutscenes has blue and red alarms going off in the room Venom is in, with each colour highlighting different sides of him. This is a reference to how Venom was shaded in the old animated series, and there's an unlockable suit for peter that also references this.
Best one out of the three! Really didn’t want the story to end!! Platinumed It, 100% Story & All Trophy’s. Now waiting on new game plus and hopefully some DLC comes too
wouldn't say it was the best. The previous games didn't have as many bugs/glitches and didn't crash which makes them superior to this one. But as far as DLC, Insomniac claims they don't plan any DLC for this game, what we got is all there will be... but there are several locations around the city (inside the playable area) that are off limits and will turn you around the same way you get turned around with a message "leavin the playable area". So I hope Insomniac is just lying about DLC.
@@Stainlessgamerbugs and glitches can be fixed, the core game is better than the other two at everything with the exception of stealth being better in the first one imo
Actually have an easter egg for you. Near the bridge on the left side of Astoria there is a mural of Norman Osborn on the side of a building with fire coming out of his mouth and devil horns. This is referencing the Devil's Breath from the first game but also his horns are green and purple, which are obviously a nod to his Green Goblin colors. Plus Goblin has had horns like that in other versions, like Ultimate Spider-Man
One of the documents (I think it's in the first kraven base) there is a document you can pick up that mentions a Dr. Stillwell and "Neogenics" which are references to the 90s Spiderman animated series. Also you can unlock the classic black suit which has a alt skin with a red and blue hughe also a reference to the same series
yup, it is the first time Peter enters a Kraven location but doesn't know a thing about it. i believe the document in question was in Kraven's den on the desk. it lists MANY details from the 90's series episodes generally titled, 'The Spider-Killer Arc'. it even references Trask Industries, which to my knowledge is ALSO a building you can visit in-game but just the exterior facia. you can't get inside or otherwise interact with it beyond normal climbing/sticking/running mechanics.
I don’t know if this counts as an Easter egg…but if you have the Spider Barrage/Rush/Shock/Whiplash abilities equipped, as well as the Superior Spider-Man, Iron Spider (MCU or Comic) and rather randomly, Spider-Man Noir, suits equipped…the arms will change to match the style of the suit, instead of the default white, Superior Spider-Man even has different arm colors for every style
Here’s an easter egg you missed: When you do the first Hunter Blind on the hunt for Scorpion, you can find a file on Farley Stillwell, the doctor who made Mac Gargan into Scorpion in the comics. The file also mentions Madripoor (an actual Marvel location from the comics that has also appeared in Falcon & the Winter Soldier) & Trask Industries (the company of Bolivar Trask, the man who would create the Sentinels in the X-Men comics).
Also, the mansion that the Flame blows up is the X-Men mansion, if you pay good attention you can notice that it looks exactly the same. Also, there is a nearby column that has the X-Men logo spray-painted on it.
I noticed several I believe references to Spider-Man 3 as well. Like how miles says “This is something else” which I believe is a call back to Toby using the symbiotic suit for the first time. Along with this I also noticed that the mission where you chase the lizard underground feels a bit similar to when Toby is underground in the movie.
tbh one of my favourite little details is when you use the superior spider man arms will change colour to fit the armour you are wearing.... idk if this happens across all the suits but its most prominent with superior spiderman
Most of the suits are metallic/white. Only some change. Try using the claws, them get into camera mode and change the suits through that. The arms will change according to the suit
Something cool i noticed is when you finish the cultural museum questline, when your looking around the museum if you look at the drums you will see the name Clyde Stubblefield, he actually did a lot of work with James Brown, for those who don't know, James Brown did the legendary People Get Up and Drive Your Funky Soul which was the song used in Spider-Man 3 when Peter Parker turned emo.
Something cool I noticed was during the prowler missions you get a dialogue from him and he basically implies to Miles that he did a mission with a crew in the past but it went wrong because of one of the thieves going rogue. Obviously Black Cat
For the crime partner dialogue option as peter as black suited, it won't show on miles after you had a beef with him after specific main story scene. I don't know if it's a bug or a hidden detail. but they still have the conversation as normal spidey pals while fighting a crime that's why it kinda looked like it was a bug.
The fourth color option for the classic Venom costume for Peter is a reference to Venom's costume in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, blue and red highlights included.
Everyone mentions that the Teo mascot is voiced by Nathan Fillion, but no one mentions that the copycat mascot is voiced by Alan Tudyk. He was a co-star with Nathan Fillion in Firefly, but he's also a prominent actor/voice actor in his own right. He was green arrow in injustice among many other roles
Its not only the other Spider-Man you can randomly encounter helping with the street crimes. You can also encounter Harry in his black suit after the Coney Island mission up until you do the mission where Peter gets the symbiote. And after finishing all the flame mission for Peter you can also encounter Wraith (Yuri) randomly stopping crimes (when it has to do with the Cult of the Flame) If you want to do an emote with her afterwards she outright refuses and Miles and Peter make an akward gesture by themselves instead.
A cool detail is if you do one of the Marko memory's side quest as Miles, and go invisible, the Sandmens? Sandmans? Anyway, they will be able to sense Miles. No one else (that I'm aware of) can do this.
Something I noticed but I could be wrong at this being a thing, if you complete criminal activities as Peter at the time in the story where the symbiote is causing him and Miles to fight then during a team up Miles will help you fight the criminals then just leave, he won't stick around for the little interaction afterwards
Another thing is in the end of the credits we’re they’re showing the artwork, one of them is the venom canister labeled “VNM-252” which is the comic in which he is debuted in as the black Spiderman suit
QTE Fails can result in interesting and engaging narrative differences in minor scenarios. When escaping the old steel forge with Agent Venom, failing QTE's may result in Peter being saved by Agent Venom rather than the other way around. This can be narratively satisfying given he's the one that helped Lonnie escape and stuck with him as the building collapses so Lonnie saying "Tell him thanks for looking out for me" might feel even more impactful if he's looking out for you too.
There are 42 spiderverse spiderbots, if that number seems familiar, its because the spider that bit spiderverse Miles was from Earth 42, love that refrence.
42 is also a common number across Spiderverse. The intro to the first movie shows that 42 was the number drawn that got Miles admitted to Horizons Academy.
In the oscorp lab in the "It chose you" mission you can find a capsule that was likely previously used to contain the venom symbiote and written on the inside is vnm 252 which is a reference to when venom was first introduced in the amazing spiderman #252
6:55 funny thing is this is actually brought up in the first game, Peter says there was no way he could get royalties from the plushies without revealing his identity, so unfortunately he’s not getting paid
Crusher Hogan is the guy Peter Parker wrestles before he becomes Spider-Man. In the Tobey movies he was played by Randy Savage. In the Comics it's a CH on his head. That's what's on the poster.
The Jurassic park Easter egg could also be considered a night at the museum Easter egg since that’s the same museum(and T-Rex) from the first movie/some scenes of the second and third films
Miles’ Family Business suit is Peter’s Iron Spider Suit. Wear it using Miles, of course and there’s a chance you’ll see him using the spider arms in a finisher.
In Dr. Connors house, you can find a copy of Amazing Fantasy in his kid's bedroom. There's also an early side mission that also references that photo as the first one that Peter ever submitted to the Bugle. By coincidence, I learned that it's much easier to run through civilians on the sidewalk than dodge road obstacles while on a bike.
Just a heads up at 8:17 Crusher Hogan is from Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1965 and he looks exactly like how he does in that poster, Hulk Hogan made his debut in 1977. I don't think it's a reference to Hulk Hogan and New Jack.
Can we also take in effect that the spider-bots had a reference to across the spider-verse by the portal opening, and there’s 42 bots, could be a reference to the universe Spider that bit miles was from.
With that final pose that Spider-man can do while falling, i think its a reference to spider-noir in the animated film as he always was trying to solve it!
You missed the other, and more obvious movie reference from the Felicia mission, and that’s the note from Wong saying they just got back from Nepals; which is where Wong left to go in Multiverse of Madness.
I only noticed it after seeing the clip, but the Oscorp guards seen after the EMF attack look the same as the soldiers fighting in Web of Shadows. Might be a reference or just a common design across games.
When you go to visit Aunt May directly after taking the Venom suit off Peter he says a different dialogue line saying something like “I’m glad you weren’t here to say how I’ve been these last few days”
Don't know if it happened with anyone else, but when I started playing Spiderman 2 a couple of days ago, the very first time both Spideys teamed up in my game, they did the pointing meme and it was excellent 😁
There's a character tease that goes over a lot of people's heads. During the last act of the game, after saving Ganke and Rio Morales from a symbiote swarm, Ganke will tell Miles a bunch of secrets. One of these is that he's dating Andi, one of their Chem classmates that Miles describes as "real cool." Although unconfirmed, this could be Andi Benson AKA Mania, the symbiotic teen sidekick of Flash Thompson's Agent Venom. And of course the end credits scene introduces us to Rio's new boyfriend Albert Moon and his daughter Cindy. In the 616 universe, she was bitten by the same spider as Peter and is the heroine Silk.
Not sure if you already covered this. But I found out while playing today if you run into NPCs while running on the ground. There is a chance you can bump into them and make their phone into the sewer grate. and you can actually help them get it out and they will thank you. not really a easter egg but a cool detail If i can get a clip ill try and send it but it was hard to recreate but hopefully someone has also had this happen
There's a bunch of non-obvious civilian interactions too. You can happen by a construction worker laughing at his coworker stuck in a porta potty that's been lifted up with a crane. You can choose to break the crane's cable to bring the porta potty back down. The guy inside says he'll still be a few minutes though
(Spoilers to the main story) A fun little detail about the symbiotes you encounter is that they are all colored after Venom's children, sans Carnage and Scream, for obvious reasons. You have orange (Phage), pink (Agony), green (Lasher) and the big grey-ish blue behemoths (Riot).
If anyone didn’t know the entire game was to represent web of shadows. Venom taking over the world, the sad song, symbiotes everywhere it was spot on and I knew it. Now what’s crazy if all the bad bosses had some of the symbiotes like in the other game it would’ve been more crazy. I mean we got to see Agent Venom, The Pre stage of carnage, Anti Venom, and Comic Venom the one that grew wings. It would’ve been a massive chaos, but it would’ve been worth it.
If you suit up as Miles’ bodega cat suit when you meet to see Teo playing the trumpet, Spider-Man the cat will in fact not be in your bag and right there next to Teo, but right after he’ll be right back in your backpack
When you play as venom and perform a finisher there is one where he can pick up and enemy and bend / rip their body this is a reference to Web Of Shadows when spiderman rips wolverine in half when he tries to free him from the symbiote.
I believe this is a hidden reference but I equipped the across the spiderverse suit and miles said “shoulder touch” I think it’s a reference to the into the spiderverse movie bc uncle Aaron teaches him that. I should have a clip if you want it
Crusher Hogan first appeared in Amazing Fantasy 15 in 1962. 15 years before Hulk Hogan's first ever match (he wasn't even Hulk Hogan). So no, Crusher Hogan isn't at all a reference to Hulk Hogan.
Shortly After the fight with Sandman you have the Mission to get the spiderman App working again. The startup that gives you the Equipment is acctualy Emf
Of that’s the case then I hope she appears and beyond the spider verse also I think it might be for the best this valiant of miles doesn’t know who Spider-Man 2099 is ……… spider-Man 2099 is honestly kind of a grouch 13:45
Yuri Lowenthal (who plays Peter in the Insomniac games) did voice a character in the Spiderverse movies. In “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”, he provided the voice for the Insomniac Spider-Man from Earth-1048. so, these games are semi-canonically taking place on 1048. Kevin Feige DID say early in his career with Marvel... he wanted ALL the Marvel media to be linked somehow... if even indirectly... of course this was back when SONY still owned all of Spider-Man's movie rights.
The funny thing is that the red suit realises he can’t beat venom if he holds back, but, with the black suit he doesn’t hood back anyway because he just likes to BULLY people
In the first Flame mission when you help people trapped in that collapsing hospital, when the cultists mention a prophesy, Spider-Man asks if he would become a giant man-spider thing.
the one with the spider bots isnt just about delilah being cut out the movie, it mentions Miguel as in Spiderman 2099 which is the best part. hopefully someone we see in a DLC or even the next game
Also when wearing a cat backpack suit and u do a finisher, sometimes (rarily) the cat will finish off and make a meow to the oponent. I think its very cute.
During the bossfight where you play as (spoiler) he loses his tongue in a cutscene. You can actually see it flopping around on the ground during the fight
If you do side crimes after Harry becomes agent Venom, he can occasionally come to help you fight similar to wraith

wouldn't say it was the best.
@@Stainlessgamerbugs and glitches can be fixed, the core game is better than the other two at everything with the exception of stealth being better in the first one imo
i think stealth is better in this game because of the web lines and double takedowns@@andresvalenzuela160
hearing him laugh while doing the "Ruh Roh" at 9:14 made me laugh
Actually have an easter egg for you. Near the bridge on the left side of Astoria there is a mural of Norman Osborn on the side of a building with fire coming out of his mouth and devil horns. This is referencing the Devil's Breath from the first game but also his horns are green and purple, which are obviously a nod to his Green Goblin colors. Plus Goblin has had horns like that in other versions, like Ultimate Spider-Man
I love how the tiny snickers and giggles that Pete and Miles does after they do the Pointing meme.
8:45 NAHH YOU DID NOT LMFAO good one
I don’t know if this counts as an Easter egg…but if you have the Spider Barrage/Rush/Shock/Whiplash abilities equipped, as well as the Superior Spider-Man, Iron Spider (MCU or Comic) and rather randomly, Spider-Man Noir, suits equipped…the arms will change to match the style of the suit, instead of the default white, Superior Spider-Man even has different arm colors for every style
Don't think it's an Easter egg but it's a good detail nonetheless
@@maxm.m.7219He mentioned it in the video already
I noticed several I believe references to Spider-Man 3 as well. Like how miles says “This is something else” which I believe is a call back to Toby using the symbiotic suit for the first time. Along with this I also noticed that the mission where you chase the lizard underground feels a bit similar to when Toby is underground in the movie.
tbh one of my favourite little details is when you use the superior spider man arms will change colour to fit the armour you are wearing.... idk if this happens across all the suits but its most prominent with superior spiderman
Same happens with the iron spider suits and I believe noir has black versions
one of my favorite details. gotta give love to the inspiration for the claws in the first place
8:52 NAH THIS CRAZY 💀💀
Finally someone reacts 😂
And after finishing all the flame mission for Peter you can also encounter Wraith (Yuri) randomly stopping crimes (when it has to do with the Cult of the Flame)
If you want to do an emote with her afterwards she outright refuses and Miles and Peter make an akward gesture by themselves instead.
You don't have to do all the Flame missions. I've seen her while playing as Miles before the Hospital mission.
Wraith also appears during the flame missions as well. I think she starts appearing after the first one.
I have fought hunters with her as well.
A cool detail is if you do one of the Marko memory's side quest as Miles, and go invisible, the Sandmens? Sandmans? Anyway, they will be able to sense Miles. No one else (that I'm aware of) can do this.
symbiote can
Flame cultists can
Something I noticed but I could be wrong at this being a thing, if you complete criminal activities as Peter at the time in the story where the symbiote is causing him and Miles to fight then during a team up Miles will help you fight the criminals then just leave, he won't stick around for the little interaction afterwards
Man, this game was a hell of a ride. I 100% it by the weekends end of release day.
When playing as miles and you pick up the “into the spider verse” robot spider Miles says “Don’t tell anyone but you are my favorite”
There are 42 spiderverse spiderbots, if that number seems familiar, its because the spider that bit spiderverse Miles was from Earth 42, love that refrence.
I never even thought about that until now
42 is also a common number across Spiderverse. The intro to the first movie shows that 42 was the number drawn that got Miles admitted to Horizons Academy.
@@jardex2275 it's also the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything... but that's something else ;) HHGTG
2:16 Did I just got Rickrolled!? 😂
The Crusher Hogan reference is from the 1st Spider-Man comic, Amazing Fantasy. The wrestler he faced originally was “Crusher Hogan” in that story.
In the oscorp lab in the "It chose you" mission you can find a capsule that was likely previously used to contain the venom symbiote and written on the inside is vnm 252 which is a reference to when venom was first introduced in the amazing spiderman #252
3:30 probably a little bit, since the trophy for the black cat mission in the first game was "bye, felicia"
Moonlight Sonata is also the song that Jill plays in RE 1 to unlock the secret passage to the emblem 👌
I legit thought this is what it was a reference to, and I even own Web of Shadows.
It's also Cid Kagenou's favourite song and only song he plays on the piano
And a reference to the piano puzzle in the first Resident Evil
6:55 funny thing is this is actually brought up in the first game, Peter says there was no way he could get royalties from the plushies without revealing his identity, so unfortunately he’s not getting paid
SPIDER PLUSHIE!!!!!!: Peter par- I mean Spider-Man
I find it interesting that after Peter knows about the Symbiote, the suit changes and looks more venomy and his attitude is more a holey
Ive been waiting for this Video since the game has come out
Ye
Crusher Hogan is the guy Peter Parker wrestles before he becomes Spider-Man. In the Tobey movies he was played by Randy Savage. In the Comics it's a CH on his head. That's what's on the poster.
Thats bone saw in the movie my man
@@jkudasai104 Damn you right!
3:55 “Spider-Man doesn’t ware capes” said by the great Peter b. Parker
Just a heads up at 8:17
Crusher Hogan is from Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1965 and he looks exactly like how he does in that poster, Hulk Hogan made his debut in 1977. I don't think it's a reference to Hulk Hogan and New Jack.
8:26 what are you talking about thats a character in spiderman chrusher hogans the guy he wrestles before uncle ben dies
Harry ricktrolled us☠️☠️
At 11:43 The Voice On The Right Is The Actor Of Krei From Big Hero Six
Can we also take in effect that the spider-bots had a reference to across the spider-verse by the portal opening, and there’s 42 bots, could be a reference to the universe Spider that bit miles was from.
I love how the portal is the same design from the ATSV movie!
With that final pose that Spider-man can do while falling, i think its a reference to spider-noir in the animated film as he always was trying to solve it!
I was surprised he didn't have that costume on in the video when demonstrating the animation.
Also, when wearing the Forever Suit (Black Panther suit), you can't hear Spider-Man's footsteps which is a reference to black panther movie.
You missed the other, and more obvious movie reference from the Felicia mission, and that’s the note from Wong saying they just got back from Nepals; which is where Wong left to go in Multiverse of Madness.
8:07 is also in a small mission where you help a budding photographer get a cool action shot, Jackscepticeye did that one
I loved web of shadows im glad a lot of elements from that game made it to here
I only noticed it after seeing the clip, but the Oscorp guards seen after the EMF attack look the same as the soldiers fighting in Web of Shadows. Might be a reference or just a common design across games.
Spider noir solving the rubix cube while web swinging is ultimate flex
The suit with the cat has a unique finisher in which the cat assists you in knocking the enemy out.
That was in the 1st game as well
When you go to visit Aunt May directly after taking the Venom suit off Peter he says a different dialogue line saying something like “I’m glad you weren’t here to say how I’ve been these last few days”
4:24 and if you go to the left corner, you'll notice that the street's name is "Boseman Way"
I was waiting for your Easter egg videos
The fact that there is exact 42 spider-bots is probablt a reference to the number of spider who bit Miles in first "Into the spider verse"
The piano note brought me back some good memories.💙
Don't know if it happened with anyone else, but when I started playing Spiderman 2 a couple of days ago, the very first time both Spideys teamed up in my game, they did the pointing meme and it was excellent 😁
Yeah I've only had that once. Was really cool
There is a chance you can bump into them and make their phone into the sewer grate. and you can actually help them get it out and they will thank you. not really a easter egg but a cool detail
If i can get a clip ill try and send it but it was hard to recreate but hopefully someone has also had this happen
There's a bunch of non-obvious civilian interactions too. You can happen by a construction worker laughing at his coworker stuck in a porta potty that's been lifted up with a crane. You can choose to break the crane's cable to bring the porta potty back down. The guy inside says he'll still be a few minutes though
@@UnseenBubby wow I haven't seen that. It will be cool to see how many of these small details people will find
In the one of the forst missions, when you are shooting drones, you can see EMF logo on one of the towers
Wonder if anything would happen if you delivered the spiderbots as Peter in the 2099 suit.
Nothing happens
(Spoilers to the main story)
A fun little detail about the symbiotes you encounter is that they are all colored after Venom's children, sans Carnage and Scream, for obvious reasons.
I'm back daddy Eggcellent
🤨
I mean, Jack's editor even caught onto the "bye Felicia" reference, since the subtitle is translated in the playthrough.
he just looks so depressed 1:26
No way he called Jada a Tupac Fangirl.😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
Shortly After the fight with Sandman you have the Mission to get the spiderman App working again. The startup that gives you the Equipment is acctualy Emf
When you go to the missions tab, the text is different depending on which Spider-Man you're playing as, in case you didn't know.
During the Coney Island level, you can find a booth for Dazzler.
@@lesliekilgore648 oh
The funny thing is that the red suit realises he can’t beat venom if he holds back, but, with the black suit he doesn’t hood back anyway because he just likes to BULLY people
Browhatthehellishappening
In the first Flame mission when you help people trapped in that collapsing hospital, when the cultists mention a prophesy, Spider-Man asks if he would become a giant man-spider thing.
the one with the spider bots isnt just about delilah being cut out the movie, it mentions Miguel as in Spiderman 2099 which is the best part. hopefully someone we see in a DLC or even the next game
Also when wearing a cat backpack suit and u do a finisher, sometimes (rarily) the cat will finish off and make a meow to the oponent. I think its very cute.
That was in te miles morales game though so it’s not new

During the bossfight where you play as (spoiler) he loses his tongue in a cutscene. You can actually see it flopping around on the ground during the fight
