5:43 If you look with a bit more of attention, you'll notice that Peter imediatelly turns around into the right direction where the other Spiders are, while Gwen looks around for a bit. You can even notice that, unlike the other two, Peter's face expression shows no concern about the situation, because he knows they are not in danger. All of this shows how he's the most experienced of the group and is more used to the spider-sense
5:55 @CafeQuente theres 2 purple balls in the window behind peter which the prowler has purple glowing eyes this means that they were stalked and watched by the prowler and you can see peter looking at the window that the prowler is in.
At 5:46, you can also note that Peter B. was the first one to look up, whereas Gwen looked from side to side and Miles wasn't aware yet. This shows how of all of them, Peter B. has the most experience.
Maybe.. but also could be something of the old noir movies... the main protagonist almost never lose his hats, glases o filth his suit... and if he's wet in one scene, the next is dry-
Did you notice that until miles was "fully" spiderman, he was animated at 12 frames per second while peter was animated in 24 frames per second? this was to show that while peter is very fluid and constant with his movement, miles was still learning and was unsure.
Sadly this is a fan theory. The actual animators didnt want to take credit for this and it was only to cut down on work considering how long the animation took to begin with - im pretty sure at least.
@@zut8448 That wouldnt explain why they would gradually increase the frames at which he was being animated at. if they wanted to cut work they would keep it constant
Also, at the end, when everything starts to get sucked into the particle accelerator, You can see the FLDSMDFR, from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, get sucked in for a split second.
@@dragonarchive7443 He doesn't mention it in the vid, and I don't remember what's the exact time in the movie but it was when everything was getting sucked in.
A little detail people have missed is miles at the start of the movie is always animated at lower FPS than the other characters, but after his leap of faith he’s at a same FPS as the others, indicating that he’s much more confident. The attention to detail is insane man
Also in the scene where Miles is yelling about how his thoughts are so loud, in the bottom right corner you can see Gwen’s ballet shoes indicating his spider senses we’re trying to tell him that she was also a spider person
When miles first gets his powers he's being rendered at 12 frames per second while all the other spider-man are rendered at 24 frames per second giving miles a clumsy look. But as he becomes more proficient with his powers, they started rendering him at 24 fps making all his movements smoother.
8:55 I heard her say “There could be a universe where I’m wearing red or wearing leather pants.” That could be a reference to Sam Rami’s Spider-Man 2, that might have been the exact clothes Otto was wearing when he first met Peter.
One Easter egg I noticed: When Miles tries to jump off a roof for the first time and trips over his shoelaces, he shouts out "Aaaaa" which is seen lettered between the 2 buildings. Later, when Miles is swinging through the city after the Leap of Faith, he swings up between the same 2 buildings shouting "Woohoo!" which is again lettered showing that he has risen up.
There’s a detail in this film that I have literally never seen a single RUclipsr talk about but I really love. Look at the fireplace mantle in Aunt May’s living room. There is a triangular case with the American Flag stars visible. That exact thing is given to a family after a military veteran has passed away. The fact that it’s featured so prominently in Aunt May’s house indicates that it was someone close to her, likely Uncle Ben
No matter who the flag belongs to, it’s my absolute favorite detail in the entire film, since I have four relatives who served in the military, and I have my paternal grandfather’s flag
When miles had his Spidey sense appear when peter saved him. The colours were purple and green much closer to the prowlers colors but when he meets Peter they become red and blue. The classic spiderman colours. So if Miles never met Peter then he would have become like his uncle. The attention to detail in this movie is amazing
I just noticed a detail about Gwen I previously missed. Just before she was sucked into Miles' universe, it appears she was fighting her version of Doc Ock, who had black metallic arms. We see this in her origin story just after she had fought Miles' Doc Ock with pneumatic arms.
When miles gets his hand stuck on gwens hair she tells him he needs to relax. She knows hes a new spiderman and she's trying to teach him he needs to relax to unstick just like peter does when miles is stuck on the ceiling
Kitty Smith it is also in reference that the number on the lotto ticket he won was 42, and that is why he is going to the boarding school in the first place. It makes me a little upset that instead of asking why 42 was in the movie Canadian lad assumed it was because of baseball related, it could have been literally the player for any professional sport that has numbers assigned to someone. And yes I know that the reason the lotto ticket winning number 42 was because it itself was a reference to the comic
When Marvel created their Ultimate Comics imprint to retell their iconic stories, the spider that bite Peter was test subject 42. They were just reusing that reference.
I would much rather watch it that way. I cannot watch that 23 fps nonsense. And now watching this and seeing all of the horrible pop culture references I'm glad I can't watch this crap.
One more detail I noticed, but I'm a little confused about it When Peter B Parker asks Doc Ock if he can assume her friends call her Doc Ock, she says that her friends actually call her Liv And in another scene later in the movie, when Doc Ock comes to Aunt May's house where everyone is, Aunt May says " Oh great, it's Liv" So Aunt May was friends with Doc Ock ?
When Miles stick his hand on Gwen's hair she said "just relax" , when Peter and Miles break into Octopus Lab Peter said that Miles need to relax so his hands can stop sticking. So Gwen was trying to teach Miles how tu "unstick" his hand from her hair
I just love how they pay their tribute to the 60s spider-man by putting an easter egg of the theme song and putting the pointing scene in the post-credits.
7:59 I've read a theory that said that Miles' spidey-sense used that green and magenta color palette because up to that point in his life, he took most advices from his uncle. Had him not been taught the little he was taught by that universe's Spiderman, he would've been the same as his uncle years later.
Secondary note, showing how experienced Peter B. is with his spider sense than both Gwen and Miles. Peter immediately starts glancing up into the rafters after his goes off, while Gwen first looks around the room looking at eye level before glancing up.
I love how when he was talking about the spider having the number 42 on it and Miles being in between the numbers 4 and 2 he made those details number 42 on the list.
One of the things that i noticed was how miles swung and got around. When miles and PB are being chased in the woods mules runs and PB yells at him to swing and miles say he can run better than we swings. Keep that in mind. Later on in the movie after his leap of faith when he is swinging above traffic he's having a hard time and at one point he just stops and starts more or less running and doing what kinda looks like parkor and he does much better hopping from car to truck and running on the sides of buildings. I think thay scene does a really good job as showing miles style of swinging which is more parkor based and less swinging. And we see this through out the movie the different spider people have different style of swinging. Gwen is very agile and delicate like a dancer and PB is very slow and clunky. IDK i thought it was kinda cool and was just wonder what other people thought
Yep. This has been a detail they've maintained for a long time. I remeber watching the ultimate Spider-Man cartoons and movies as a kid, and they had similar details.
There are so many little details it’s impossible to get them all. But thank you for pointing this one out just shows how much detail they put in this movie. It’s one of my favorite Spider-Man movies ever made.
Another detail not many people know about in that scene is that PB is moving at two times the amount of FPS as Miles which shows that PB, even though he is old and slow, he is still experienced and Miles is not. It’s really hard to notice but the animators did it on purpose and I think it’s really cool
the Prowler theme being Miles' theme but backwards really holds a lot of significance now with ATSV Edit: 42 being referenced a few times in the film makes me nervous because it sounds like "death" in Japanese (shi-ni) and is considered an unlucky number because of it. I'm scared there's gonna be a destined death and i don't know if it will be Miles, i sure hope not
Yeah this is what is it, not because of Green Goblin. Miles was influenced by his uncle so his colors were seen instead. That is why Peter was having issues, once Miles realized what was happening, it turned to red and blue.
@@solar_savior4118 well he basically copies exactly what Spider-man did. He's still learning how to be a spider-man after the movie. And I bet that's gonna be the plot of the 2nd one
This is one of the best Spiderman movies out there. So glad they even put the time to put in small details that probaly no one will notice in normal speed and that is why Spider-man and the Spider-verse is so good!
Did you guys know that in the beginning when octavias said "my friends call me Liv, my enemies call my octavias" later on at Mays house may called her Liv not Octavias or doc Ock
I kinda thought Aunt Mary called her 'Liv' sarcastically... Like, "I'm not your friend....... Liv." Aaaand I've given myself an excuse to watch again 😁
12:11 In the background, it says “Applesauce”. Back during Spider-Noir’s time (1930s), Applesauce was more used as a curse word in America. So it was pretty much saying “F you” to Tombstone
what i noticed in this movie is that when Miles gets bit by the spider he is taking a picture on his phone, in the original 2002 spider-man movie, Peter Parker takes a picture on his camera. i think how Miles gets bit is a modern depiction of that scene from the original.
@@Enixito. I watched into the Spider-Verse after watching the 2002 Spider-Man for the first time and I lost my mind when I noticed that he was bit in the same place
I think it’s also funny how Peter Parker felt at least some pain from the spider bite while miles just stared at the spider and killed it by smacking it off
Another detail: When miles gets left behind by the rest of the spider gang, in the background you can see a poster that says December 17. Which is the exact date that Spider-Man No Way Home is being released.
Another neat little detail to mention is that during the final battle when Miles plugged the goober into the machine the interface showed up with japanese text because penny was the one who made it.
8:08 actually, it's green and purple for showing Miles' connection to The Prowler which has a green and purple outfit (in the comics), which brings me to the fact that if Miles didn't meet Peter, he'd end up a criminal just like his uncle because they were too close and after that it changes color to blue and red
At 8:59 I understand why they were trying to hide the last name of Dr Olivia Octavius, but it would've been displayed on Miles' books and clothing instead and not hiding behind him because of how projectors work
It's just for how "us" (the point of view) are watching him, if you look at the shadow it's accuratte, even if it seems weird since the light source is in front of him and not on a diagonal angle
I had also found a detail , when all spiderman are hiding from miles friend we can see that peni parker is squeezed between miles and gwen because she does not have Spiderman powers !
I would like to add something. In the "leap of faith" scene, when he jumps at first we see him falling, but then the screen turns upside down and he can see him "going up". He is ascending, he is no longer just Miles Morales, from this leap of faith he has actually became Spiderman.
5:52 idk if anyone noticed, and don’t shame me if you did. But in the background, Spider-Man’s head is seen on the screen bouncing around like the dvd sign.
Can we just appreciate the fact that he watched the whole movie patiently in that slow speed just so that he can find some secrets and entertain us! You deserve more subs, my guy...
“Let me guess your friends call you Doc Oc”-Peter B “No actually my friends call me liv... My enemies call me doc Oc”- Liv *When miles returns to Aunt Mays to let everyone know the prowler is his uncle. Doc Oc enters the room* “Oh great it’s Liv”- Aunt May Aunt may is friends with Doc Oc? That might explain why may is able to make Miles’ web shooters.
About the "look out" part of the spidey sense, I mean this probably isn't even an easter egg, but something kinda funny to think about is, later when Peter is fighting goblin, they get to the collider, which kingpin say "look out, here comes the spider man"
There was one detail that I noticed and was my favourite: At the end when the collider was sucking everything, after miles was looking at the “Universe web” we can see a object getting sucked in the collider, if you look close, it’s the food machine from Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. I love that detail because the two movies are made by Sony, so love that knot between those two movies 😍
another detail you didn’t point out in relation to the chance the rapper detail is that the weeknd’s starboy album cover is pictured once on a city billboard and again as posters on a wall on the street but with the title “KISSLND”, referencing his 2013 album kiss land
Also, at 7:34 if you put the video to 0.25 speed, you can see a contact on Miles' phone named "Ez Ekiel", a nod to Ezekiel who is a character in the spiderman comics
At the end when the accelerator is sucking stuff in you can see the weather machine used in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. (Another Sony Animation property)
This movie literally won awards for animation. Nobody looked past how great it was. Also, the still shot of Donald Glover in Spider-man pjs was used in a fan petition for Glover to be the next Spider-Man. Brian Bendis created Miles due to that petition.
12:11 In the background, it says “Applesauce”. Back during Spider-Noir’s time (1930s), Applesauce was more used as a curse word in America. So it was pretty much saying “F you” to Tombstone
In the scene where Peter B. Parker and Miles are swinging through the forest, Peter is animated with twice the number of frames per second as Miles, making his movement look a lot smoother. This illustrates his level of experience relative to Miles.
The “empty mannequin” isn’t actually a missing suit. It’s the Dusk suit that Spider-Man wore during the Identity Crisis storyline. You can tell it’s not a missing suit as the gap between his arms and body only starts at his lower arm and has the Dusk wingsuit. If you want actual proof, the art book has the suit included with the other suits like Iron Spider and Big Time.
10:39 how about this scene the spider man orginal suit is beside the empty mannequin but when it shows beside it shown a spiderman suit (I dont know what it is called) but check it out 10:39
Saranay Raña Jr. I wouldn’t say an error its just from the trailer and the actual movie scene they always change somethings that are in the movie from the trailer and it’s not an empty suit it’s the dusk suit.
Honestly, there were so many deep elements concealed in that movie that I'm pleased someone like you was able to locate them and share them with the rest of us.
5:52 to add to this: Gwen's spider sense was actually the first to go off by maybe just one or two frames. This could be wrong since Peter B's sense is smaller as he is further away but I still wanna think it means something.
I noticed after they went off, that Peter immediately starts glancing up, while Gwen keeps searching at eye level first. It could be tied, possibly being slightly smaller because it's not warning about danger, so it isn't as strong because it's not a threat. Both showing that Peter is more experienced, knowing both strength of warning and direction of source. Just a theory of mine.
Before reaching full potential you can actually see mile's animated in 12 fps while other spider people are in 24 fps, later when you he reaches full potential his animation is bumped upto 24fps. Credits : corridor crew
At the beginning of the film, Miles’ spider sense colors were purple and green. Prowler’s original colors were purple and green. That was not only hinting that Aaron would be Prowler, but also that if Miles’ continued his path following in his uncle’s footsteps, he would also become a villain.
I like the detail of how everyone reacts to their Spidey Sense going off. Miles looks surprised, Peter looks curious, and Gwen looks on suspicious and on guard
@@Cy.violett8 just imagine how boring it would be watching a whole movie in 1/4 the speed. the audio would be weird. it the action would be slow. and youd have to sit there for over 4 or 5 hours. dont beleive it. plus he says he did it for multiple other movies?!!?!? no they didnt, they found some funny you blink and you miss it things about the movies online and that was it. the dude is faking it for views.
also, if you turn up the sound/wear headphones during the "LOOK OUT!" scene, the music goes silent. you can hear someone (miles?) whispering "look out" in the silence
I think it's like a spider sense voice and its sensing to and telling miles to look out and sounds something familiar to him like his own voice or a friend's
5:55 you can see in that little window behind Peter theres some purple eyes looking around the prowler could've stalked them and watched them and peter turns around looking up at the window of that little control room which also might be why the spidey senses went off because the prowler was in there.
Cool how you left out the "no. 42" movie references till the 42nd point. Nice touch. And yes, till this day, my mind is still blown by how crazy that movie was animated. Never seen anything like it, wish to see more of it.
4:18 I'm pretty sure the LOOK OUT is more of meant to be akin to onomatopoeias such as boom and bang in comics, and only a way to visualize his Spider-Sense.
8:00 I've always felt that the green and purple was a nod to the prowler's color scheme. It shows miles and his uncle aren't that much different. Miles found a mentor, whereas Aaron did not. Aaron fell in a world of crime while Miles became a hero, hence why it turned to Spiderman's color scheme.
@Pepito i think it was showing the road miles was going down he was going to be a villain like his uncle who miles idolized until he found a mentor in spider man
The green and purple spider sense was to symbolize that Miles' destiny was to become the prawler but after the bite his destiny changed to become spiderman, not that the goblin was coming.

Are you serious? PB is not slow at all. Stupid.
@@nehh_aksat Yes, the PB is slow and clunky. He's almost 50 ffs what do you expect.
the Prowler theme being Miles' theme but backwards really holds a lot of significance now with ATSV

Miles' spider sense is actually also the same colours as his uncle the Prowler before changing to the red and blue of Spiderman.
Yeah this is what is it, not because of Green Goblin.
Miles was influenced by his uncle so his colors were seen instead. That is why Peter was having issues, once Miles realized what was happening, it turned to red and blue.
This fact indicates that, if Miles never met Peter or never went down the Spidey path, he would've become the next Prowler.

maybe B. parker is rusty since man's been depressed and eating pizza
I noticed after they went off, that Peter immediately starts glancing up, while Gwen keeps searching at eye level first.
