Aziz AA Teams have gotta learn...the return man can hesitate all he wants. If the whistle doesn't blow, live play...can't take any plays for granted and get caught out of position.
Noticed two themes in this video: The Patriots have great special teams. The Vikings line needs to learn how to block for FGAs. Seriously, they got victimized all throughout the video. Oh... and a third: It was nice seeing the Oilers once again.
He smiled when they beat Indianapolis after all that bullshit deflategate crap was brought back up even after Drew Brees Ron Jaworski Dan Marino every non retarded quarterback that I saw in the media said it was nonsense and just give people reason to hate the Patriots because they're a bunch of jealous cry babies he also smiled when they came back on Atlanta. But yes I get your point
...and then have one of the Browns' fans give the Ravens' player double-middle-fingers (it's the dude in the dark jacket, giving those fingers so hard, he nearly fell over the wall) as a touchdown greeting. 100% class!
J.R. Caldoon I hadn’t gotten that happy to see bitter fans flipping the bird until they penguins fans did the same to ovechkin in the 2018 playoffs. There’s no greater feeling as a fan of the away team.
Nathan Vasher and Devin Hester great Bears' moments. Interesting one on a good note for the offensive special teams was in 1980 when Alan Page as a Bear blocked a field goal right into the hands of the Green Bay famed Polish kicker, Chester Marcol, who took it into the end zone for a sudden death game winning TD at Lambeau Field. Bad Bears' moment.
Haven't we all seen that one enough? Poor Garo will always be remembered for that botched play in the SB, even though he was a very good kicker his entire career. I bet winning the Super Bowl and going 17-0 made up for it though. ;)
@@jeffgreen3376 To this day, some of his surviving teammates are still mad at what Garo attempted. If Garo had made the FG, the Dolphins would have finished their 17-0 perfect season with a 17-0 Super Bowl win.
This has to be the longest field goal returned for a touchdown, in NFL history. 109.9 yards. Cromartie's foot was less than an inch from the back of the end zone when he caught it. 7:43
Check out 4:35, you have the holder, a punter, chasing down a defensive back from behind. Don't see that too often. Unfortunately, he did not know how to tackle.
Yeah that was not 2006. The correct answer to your question is that the Cardinals are a very hot-and-cold team lately and can have random terrible games, such as the NFCCG vs Carolina
Missing one - Ravens @ Titans, divisional playoff game in Janurary 2001. Raven Anthony Mitchell picks up the ball on Keith Washington's block of Al del Greco's 37-yard attempt and takes it to the house.
2:09 to 2:44 - Flag was on the Giants for Unnecessary Roughness. Enforced on Kickoff. Bears won that game. 12:06 - The record is 109 as you might recall earlier in the video.
Raider fan thanks you for that final one, because that Eagle loss for Bucs meant we faced them in that disastrous Super Bowl thank you for NOT including one or the two pick sixes Gannon threw. RAIDER NATION -- unite - and great videos!
i was a kid at that last one, when Nathan Vasher ran that missed FG in for the longest returned TD at that time. It was so windy throwing and kicking were virtually impossible. BearDown
These videos are the only football I watch. I used to love the Steelers during the days of Franco, Joe, Lynn, and Terry. But the personality of the game has changed.
6:17 I was at that game with my dad. Thought for sure the Oilers were going to make that and win the game. The place went nuts when Seattle blocked it and ran it back for a touchdown. Could not believe it!
I think back in the day, pre-1974.when the goal posts were on the goal line, and kickers were mostly the old school straight-on types, they didn't have nearly the leg they do now, many more misses were returned out (especially since I believe the other rule back then was a missed FG wide in the end zone was just a touchback with the ball at the 20 unless someone ran it out- which is actually the logical result of the play instead of giving them the ball at the point of the kick as is the rule now).
Where's Chester Marcol getting rejected, having the ball bounce right back to him, and taking it to the house for the game-winning TD? That's an all-time classic play.
Louis Wright vs. Chargers week 11 1985. Chargers have the ball and are driving in OT to beat Denver. First blocked kick was nullified by a time-out. Dennis Smith blocked a 2nd straight kick, Louis Wright runs it in for 6 to win the ballgame. You should definitely check that out, Otherwise great compilation!
That Sendejas score...that was crazy! 😰😰😂😂 Usually the 'defense' scoops and scores on touchdowns from blocked field goals, but the 'offense' broke the rule! 😂😂😂😂 I guess DeSean Jackson's punt return is Miracle at the Meadowlands #3 instead of #2 as it was originally called... 😝😝
Aww, you showed the Vikings blocked many times, but missed Bobby Bryant's return in the 76 NFC Championship game on the frozen farm fields of Bloomington MN!

Great set of clips!
Damn you went back a gazillion years to get footage. But not one Eagles kick 6.
I'm about to lose my mind
...NO!
might as well call this video Patriots returning blocks for touchdowns
No The patriots are not the only one who blocked it in the video

DJ Davis Productions also of the Ravens- wait nvm our head coach is a special teams coach lol

the way Devin Hester hesitated then went all the way is just savage
Aziz AA Teams have gotta learn...the return man can hesitate all he wants. If the whistle doesn't blow, live play...can't take any plays for granted and get caught out of position.
im just entering high school and trying out for a kick/punt returner and he's my idol
He hesitates to look for open lanes developing, he has great field vision
Nathan Basher (last clip) also stops for 2 seconds to allow blocks to be set up.
No, no, no, go, go, go.
Noticed two themes in this video:
The Patriots have great special teams.

I did.

Yea you did
Absolutely love when a player unselfishly lateral's to another teammate so that The Team Gets The Points
Probably just lateraled it to the faster player.
@@patrickstovall2262 That's the point...He unselfishly lateraled to the faster player so the team can get the points.

The guys with a Steelers logo is salty over the Patriots success. No surprise.
Of course, Bobby, the Pats almost always humiliate the Steelers, leaving them whining like little girls.
The block on the kicker at 4:39 is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen.
Guy throwing a block on the kicker standing still after the juke and then flexing after just made him look like a bitch.
Haha, that double block at 2:28!! Seriously, the Cromartie return for SD is the best of all time!!
That was pretty sick, though the last one where the Bears player spins 5 guys out is pretty great as well.

Love the Chris Berman call -- "He could go... all... the... way!!

That's one of his catchphrases.
There is something so satisfying about the camera having to catch up to what’s actually happening vs what is expected to happen
"Special teams players are often anonymous. And so are third string quarterbacks."
7:44 runs the entire field 109 yards for a TD. Absolutely ridiculous

Love hearing Chris Berman on some of the highlights from the original (the BEST) NFL Primetime
The Eagles returning their own blocked FG for a TD is the ultimate.
1:20 why are the bears winning 28-6 in arizona?
"KING" Of Kings Gaming they had devin hester in his prime they even made it to the super bowl that year
Venny Trevino no they didn't. The last time the bears made the super bowl was super bowl 41, quite a while before that.
"KING" Of Kings Gaming It was 2012, the Cardinals were terrible that year. John Skelton probably started that game at QB.
Yeah that was not 2006. The correct answer to your question is that the Cardinals are a very hot-and-cold team lately and can have random terrible games, such as the NFCCG vs Carolina
If you want to crown the Bears ass, go ahead.

Correction. It’s from 2006.
And it wasn’t from the preseason. Lawrence Tynes’ field goal got blocked and returned for a TD by Kelly Herndon.
3:00 I love how nobody realizes that they returning the kick for a TD until it's too late.
2:40 I guess you could say Feely had the feely’s after that

This video is solely blocked field goal kicks, so Gannon's pick sixes wouldn't qualify.
Did that Patriots vs Steelers one count? It looked like a forward pass at 3:29.
i was a kid at that last one, when Nathan Vasher ran that missed FG in for the longest returned TD at that time. It was so windy throwing and kicking were virtually impossible. BearDown
Chris Berman doing Sports Center top plays brings back some good memories

Louis Wright. Dennis Smith.
you forgot eagles-chargers 2005. Quintin Mikell blocks Nate Kaeding's FG, Matt Ware returns for GW TD.
he didn't forget, he didn't have room in the video because he had to fit more patriots plays
4:03 nice to see TOUCHDOWN SEAHAWKS make an appearance
You can tell the Patriots practice this sequence a lot.
Gotta love Chris Berman's commentary for the last one.
That Deuce McAllister run was so unexpected, even the cameraman didn't know it was happening!
What about aaron williams 52 yard return. Week 3, 2016: Cardinals vs Bills
The Ray Lewis block was one of the best special teams play eber
Chester Marcol of the 1980 Packers in overtime against the Bears had his field goal blocked but ran it in for a touchdown
you missed one and that would the blocked field that dallas returned for a touchdown against Minnesota in 2007
Patriots special teams have always made a difference. They just blocked a punt for 6 against the Giants last Thursday.
At 6:25, the guy laterals it to his teammate, but they are both running forward. So does that mean it was forward lateral.
Bill Belichick is possibly the most exciting coach to watch on the sideline. He practically oozes excitement 100% of the time.
The last missed field goal return was amazing!
Where's Chester Marcol getting rejected, having the ball bounce right back to him, and taking it to the house for the game-winning TD? That's an all-time classic play.

Soooo, why wasn't Cromartie's 109 yard td the last highlight? THAT'S the record.
The last one was the best. He spinned off 5 defenders at once.
Bobby Bryant blocked FG vs Rams 1976 NFC championship. 90 yards for a TD.
Bro Troy Brown's lateral to Antwon Harris was otherworldly
Fun fact: If you kick it in you get 3 points. If you run it in you get 6 points.

New England has always played such solid special teams
I was waiting for the Clyde Simmons TD in OT on the Giants' block.
