- Welcome to the Brooklyn Brothers! Today, we are making Four Cheese Baked Ziti the Brooklyn Way! We picked up a few quality ingredients from our favorite Italian Grocer, Jimmy’s Food Store in Dallas, TX. When we cook, we only like to use the finest food products, especially for this Four Cheese Baked Ziti with meatballs. Our tomato sauce is made with imported San Manzano tomatoes and the cheeses are fresh. The four cheeses we use are whole-milk mozzarella, fresh Pearl mozzarella, Old-Fashioned Ricotta, and parmesan cheese.
This is one of the best Baked Ziti Recipes you will cook up. Great for large parties and it’ is really easy to prepare. You can get our tomato sauce and meatball recipes on our channel.

Watching that finished ziti come out of the oven makes my knees buckle. Wonderful!
Mine too!😂
I know it's such a stereotype, but guys that look and talk like these two are going to be good cooks.
I would love to eat all of their food!
@@barbaraanderson3532 You and me both!
2 real Brookynites that can cook
Can’t trust skinny cooks.
My girls are Italian and Sicilian from their daddy's side. I grew up with potatoes, beans, carrots and wild game in Wyoming. I learned how to cook, by watching channels like yours! I make lasagna now, with a bechamel sauce. I have learned to make my own Italian sausage with fennel
That sounds great! Will have to try that.
This has seriously become one of my all time favorite channels. You fellas are the real deal. Very very happy to see the real deal old world way here! Don't have to be rich, but top ingredients are the must.
Hey Josh! Just the simple pleasures of life. Thanks for watching!
@@BrooklynBrothersCooking you guys are the best
You’re both great my Italian group on Facebook loves your recipes. Can you do a Chicken Parm video?
@@radicischickenparmreviews8179 thank you so much
That’s almost the exact same way I make my baked ziti. I was born on Long Island NY and lived there for 28 years before relocating. Must be in the blood. I’ve always made mine with sliced Italian sausage. I never would have thought of using meatballs. Looks delicious and will definitely try this in my recipe. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your story! We lived in Bayshore for a couple of years. Sausage sounds great with ziti!
P.S. I made it! Two batches / froze one for later. Put about 50 meatballs in there. Family loved it.
Glad you all enjoyed it!
That's great glad your family liked it
Dang, this guy can cook! Look at those layers
Watch this video multiple times. Whole vibe totally reminds me of our family, growing up.
Oh man I would love to have gone to your dad’s restaurant. I cook very similar to you. We just don’t have those kind of restaurants around and I think that’s how most of us learn to do good home cooking Italian style🎉 Thanks guys for everything you do
He was a great chef
My grandmother used to layer tiny meatballs in her lasagna. 👌🏼❤
Our grandmother did as well! Here’s a video. Grandma’s Lasagna with Mini Meatballs Recipe

Brooklyn LazanYaZiti.
You are absolutely right to ALWAYS use good quality ingredients.
I used to live across the street from an family owned Italian grocery store in Buffalo NY - Guercio's. They sold only imported Italian & other European foods.
They never disappointed Me. When I cooked Italian meals with ingredients bought from them, a HUGE difference in taste as opposed to ingredients from an ordinary supermarket.
Sadly, as of late the store's family owners of 6 brothers & sister are aging, retiring, dying & the imports are not as much due to 19CONvid. I hope their children & grandchildren (adults) keep up with the pace as their elders did., when things get back on track.
Not too many of the Italian grocery stores anymore. But, there are major grocery store chains beginning to open a more high quality grocery stores like central market and Fresh
@@BrooklynBrothersCooking You're correct about the minimal amount of Italian grocery stores remaining.
The store I wrote about here in Buffalo NY is the only one of its type who sells imports.
People come from far & wide to purchase retail & wholesale.
Sheesh...! Those meatballs are over the top!
Reggie From Kansas City says, 10 out of 10 Again
Thanks Reggie!
Looks Amazing
Thanks Brian!
My dad owned am Italian catering hall./restaurant in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. I was watching your meatball video and I had to laugh when you said you don't measure ingredients. My dad always said the same thing. Putting meatballs in you baked ziti was a favorite of mine. Miss dad's cooking and I will never be the chef he was but your videos bring me back! Oh and we never called tomato sauce gravy. LOL
That’s fantastic! Sauce gravy it’s all the same. 😂
Thank you so much
My grandmother use to put mini meatballs in her lasagna too!
Incredible cheesy meaty goodness! Thank you for yet another great video. Cheers!
Hope you enjoy
Would loved to have been able to serve this up for my mom and dad. Can't wait to get my mom's sauce recipe back to try this when I get out of physical rehab and back into a new home.
Sounds great! Best of luck with your health!

@@BrooklynBrothersCooking Your welcome Paisan I'm a Bronx boy I subscribed & always willing to learn love the baked ziti with the meatballs that's my next project lol SALUTO 🍷🇮🇹 ciao 🤙 Vic,
Baked ziti….the best crowd pleasing dish you ever wanna do! I’m sorry, but there’s something wrong with you if you don’t like Baked ziti! This recipe with the mini meatballs is awesome, but I use sliced Italian sausage sometimes too. Believe it or not but my husband and kids like it “just cheese” the best. I like the marble sized meatballs.
Another great video guys! I hope a lot more people find you’s because they won’t be disappointed! Here’s to your success! 🍷🍷 SALUTE’
Thanks Teri for the wonderful compliment!
Your baked ziti looks amazing guy's! I tell ya I'm getting ready to move to Texas. I'm sick of the cold and snow here in Syracuse, Ny. Lol
Come on down! I do not miss the winter months they’re up north.
I love you recipes
Thanks Eliane!
Like the way you make your baked ziti in one pot just mix in the ricotta and mozzarella cheese after you cook the pasta its a mix and dumb pasta dish with layers of yummy cheese filling and sauce almost like a lasagna layers of yummy good ness with meat balls definitely making this this week and definitely letting you know how it came out guys . I always go extra on the mozzarella I’am a Italian cheese freak lol . Ty you guys are the real deal , Sharon 👍👌😁🙋🏻♀️
Thanks Sharon! We appreciate the support!

Gramma would be proud of her grandsons sharing their Italian heritage I'm from a small Italian town in northern NY can't find anymore good Italian food no one doing what these boys are doing carrying on their tradition I almost want to go home and show em all how to do it and I'm not even Italian I'm Irish ha
Love your channel, going the ziti Sun. De Cecco is a little pricey and it's not bronze cut. I'm hungry.
Thank you 😊
I made it tonight it was a big hit
Thank you so much
Just made this today. You guys, I’m in Heaven! I’ve been making ziti for 35 years and never put mini meatballs in, I feel like I’ve wasted my life. 😂
Made the sauce and meatballs yesterday so this morning just had to cook the pasta, assemble and bake.
Thanks for yet another killer recipe! Happy New Year! 🎉
Thanks Meredith! Happy New Year!
I would get a silicone spatula and scrape every single glop of the cheese in the pot where you mixed up the ziti and I would lick the whole thing clean. I have no shame. Good heavens, that looks so delicious.
😂thanks!
This will be my Xmas dinner and I,ll also make sweet, hot sausage with it 🌺
Very nice!
Very nice happy holidays to you and your family
love this - second time to make it in last 2 weeks - did you say 450' oven? I didn't remember that from last time and have doubled for my daughter's housewarming party (in two pans) and don't want to mess it up
Hi Clare, glad you are enjoying the Ziti! Yes, 450.
Man come on you guys gotta stop your killing me hungry 👍👍👍👍👍
Looks amazing. Gonna try it out for NYE party. Is that recipe for just one box of ziti? so, double everything for 2 boxes. Yes? Do you think I can replace ziti for rigatoni? Thanks
Thanks! This recipe uses 2 lbs of ziti. It will feed between 14-16 people.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Can I ask are the meatballs cooked all the way when you add them, or halfway?? Fried, baked??
Yes, cook all the way.
I making this for my 2 oldest tomorrow but with Italibink sausage because I am lazy. 😂
😂 enjoy!
Very nice
Love you guys ! But why not pasta that’s better quality? Slow dried over 36-48 hrs supposedly is what is crucial idk
🤔
how would you freeze this. thank you for sharing
I would freeze this in an airtight container.
thank you @@BrooklynBrothersCooking
Me and mom are waiting for ure escarole and beans and lasagna
Coming Soon!
Hi guys , love watching you cook. I have a question , if I make a pan of ziti like you made on this video how many people do you think it will serve ? I’m cooking for 120 women from our church. Not sure how many pans to cook. Hope you can help me , Thanks Linda
Hi Linda, each pan feeds anywhere from 15 to 20 people.
If you lived here in Dallas I would volunteer to help you girls
Terrific looking recipe. I subscribed but can’t seem to find recipe with ingredients. Any advise ?
1lb. Ziti
56 oz of tomato sauce (recipe on channel)
1 lb of meatballs (recipe on channel)
Cup of ricotta
2 cups of mozzarella
1 cup of Mozz Pearls
1/4 cup of parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
Thanks for joining our channel!
Oh man those are some good canned tomatoes
Hey! Was I suppose to brown the meatballs before adding to the Ziti mixture? I didn’t hear you say.
Yes, cook the meatballs before you put together the baked ziti
How do I get the meatball recipe. I did subscribe to your channel
Hi Brenda, thanks for subscribing! You can find the recipe on our channel.
Do you use the peeled San Marzano or smashed?
We use peeled
👍
Wow… LOOKS AMAZING!! Are both y’all married?? I need a man that likes to cook!! Lol
Yes we are 😂
LMAO
Looks great but It went in with no foil then comes out with foil. At what point did you cover it and for how long?
