I bought physical copies of Mario Party 8-10 since they're not available for download from the store anymore. This should be perfect to get them running in digital format again 👍
I have a problem. When I get to the wudd, and I have it on SD, and dump partition as .app, I select the game, only for it to say: error: unable to create directory, make sure you have enough storage. However, my micro SD card is 128 gb with its storage barely used up with 117gb remaining, and the game is 6.8 gib. I believe i followed all the previous instructions as well. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong please?
Does the game disc have to be playable? I get the 103 memory error when I try to play any game from disc even though digital games work fine. I was hoping I could do this and not need discs anymore.
the nintendo switch has a different cpu architecture than the wii u's cpu, the ps vita and the ps3 are less powerful than the wii u, so its really not possible @@daviddicker7025

I managed to dump WW HD onto my Steamdeck, runs great. If I want to dump botw, would I need the dlc and update files made for the wii u version?
You need the Wii U update or it won't be playable. DLC is optional.

If you have a broken disc you aren't going to be able to copy it
@@ArchadesGames the disc isn't broken. It's a system issue. Any disc I play it gives the memory 103 error
When you emulate the games, do you have to use a controller or can you just use your keyboard, and if you do have to use a controller, which ones ?

Mac is not a good OS for hobbyist projects. Use a VM with Windows

You can use clean rip in modified VWii
@ArchadesGames not really sure what that means, but I try to figure out what that means. This gave me a good start.
vWii is the Wii mode included on WiiU to play Wii games. You mod vWii and run clean rip from the homebrew channel.

Is it not possible to install to the SD card in the Wii U?
There is a way to run games off SD but then you have to wait like 20-30 minutes for them to load
WUDD says ERROR_FAILED_WRITE_TMD every time I try to file dump even though the sd card is completely empty
