The real problem is that the hinges are installed upside down. The hinge pin should come out of the top. The heavy items that your sister would hang on the door had, over time, began to drive the hinge pins out with gravity.

Hey. Would you do a review of this product called ReSecure Latch? They have a channel on here that repairs loose door latches or deadbolts where the screws have lost their catch (Just spin). The product sits inside the door along side the latch. So you don't have to worry about splitting the door.
Great Review of Screw it again.

You should of taken the entire hinge off so you could get behind it. The product has a slot for a screwdriver so you can screw it in.

Yeah, I could have removed the 3 screws and then flipped the hinge out of the way, but either way it wasn't screwing into the wood any further. The hinge wasn't in the way.

Re: 6:27 also here’s an answer that’s cheating about then screw numbers. Screw sizes #2 - #16 correspond to a standardized numbering system for screws that indicates their diameter and sometimes their length. These sizes are part of the Unified Thread Standard (UTS) used primarily in the United States and Canada. The number increases with the diameter of the screw.
The screw sizes #2 - #16 can be roughly interpreted as follows:
    #2: 0.086 inches (approx. 2.18 mm) diameter
    #3: 0.099 inches (approx. 2.51 mm) diameter
    #4: 0.112 inches (approx. 2.84 mm) diameter
    #5: 0.125 inches (approx. 3.18 mm) diameter
    #6: 0.138 inches (approx. 3.51 mm) diameter
    #8: 0.164 inches (approx. 4.17 mm) diameter
    #10: 0.190 inches (approx. 4.83 mm) diameter
    #12: 0.216 inches (approx. 5.49 mm) diameter
    #14: 0.242 inches (approx. 6.15 mm) diameter
    #16: 0.268 inches (approx. 6.81 mm) diameter
Keep in mind that these values are approximate, and there can be slight variations between manufacturers.
In addition to the diameter, screw sizes can also indicate the threads per inch (TPI) or thread pitch. For example, a #8-32 screw is a #8 diameter screw with 32 threads per inch. However, metric screws use a different sizing system based on the diameter in millimeters and the distance between threads (also in millimeters).

Torque setting of 8 to put a door hinge screw in? Holy shit!

all you needed was a longer screw

The wooden frame is only so thick. After that you're drilling into a gap between drywall.

@@ItsBinhRepaired Incorrect, door frames are double studded and the standard screws are meant to stay within the first, a longer screw would solve your problem. EDIT: tried to link image: Google search >> standard door frame studs

1 don't use power tools for these jobs, I mean your screw originally came off bc it stripped, so you risk stripping it again? 😂
2 your not understanding the instructions. Your suppose to break off the tip of the plastic till it fits flush in the hole, then you use a screw driver to tighten the plastic screw deeper, not your weak fingers 🤦. Think of it like a wall anchor, it needs to grab the sides.
Next time ask daddy to help you, bc you don't know shlt lol

If you set the torque setting low, it won't strip it. It stripped because kids kept hanging on the door... lol
