Tim, I can't express how much I love your content. I'm 66 with a 13+ years personal practice. I'm on a hiatus from my practice because of the flair up of an old injury. This brief sequence is a great re-entry into my practice. Again, thank you for the mindful, knowledgeable, and uncomplicated practices you provide on your channel. You understand what's really important in yoga. You're the best virtual teacher I've come across.
Your timing is perfect, Tim. I broke my foot in May (three fractures and two low-grade sprains) and have come a long way in healing, but updog and a lot of balancing poses are going to be tricky for a while. At the same time, I need to rebuild quad, calf, and core strength. Anything to help gently tone and stretch without much one-legged weight-bearing or full ankle flex would be soooo helpful. Thanks for all you do.
So often my lower back just won't work in the morning, and I walk around shaped like a C, and anything that focuses on unlocking that specifically would be so appreciated!
There are a couple of great Back videos on Tim's channel that I've been using- I think if you just put Yoga for back pain in the search, they cover some really helpful stuff for lower back.
I've just used this at the end of a shift at work to stretch out before a meditation practice. Time is short some work days. I'd welcome some evening/chill out practices, shorter like this. Thank you!
64 and there's so much more 😂...sprint triathlon #4 tomorrow on a 21 year old full knee r. Ive now used your running warm ups...awesome and this before dinner rn. I know it says morning but it was just right to stretch and move at our campsite. Thank you! I appreciate physios who do yoga!!! ❤🎉

I was a swimmer so that's always fast ... Hilly hard bike I slayed, run through forest and huge hills tough but I walked and did intervals. No injuries. No DOMS. Ready for more yoga today after 4 k run! Thanks sooooo much for asking... As a former trainer and physio nerd, I appreciate yoga/ physio outlook. Your work is awesome! 😁🙏
@@yogawithtim Btw- the 3rd triathlon this summer , took 17 minutes off! Also took 2 minutes off 5 k Parkrun last week! Your mobility and attention to detail in practice helps offsets muscle soreness and preps for long runs! Yay! :)
What a great way to start the day, indeed. My lower back and hips are tight in the morning. If I don't start off right, it could be a day of shooting pain.
Hips are always a problem so excellent first choice👍 I actually used this as part of my restorative this morning then added more time for meditation. Stiff and sore shoulders is another spot to work on. Of course at 67 you could pick most any spot😁 Yoga keeps me moving like a younger person!!! Thanks Tim🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you, Tim. This is a beautiful morning practice alone or before another practice. It's says, "Good morning, and hello body, hello Tim, hello world!"😁
Wish you could 'like' more than once! Always great for a quick morning stretch when time is limited or in my case have been away for a while. Thank you Tim!
This was perfect for morning. I will try it before bed tonight as well and see how I feel after. Hips, shoulders hammies and even being able to roll over toes for vinyasa would be great. You're the best teacher Tim. Thank you.
Hips and lower back mobility od always of interest to me, as is the entire spine actually, and the rib cage...even the diaphragm when i think aboutit. Lots! Mobility is do important. Thank you for your work Tim, i'm big fan!
Ciao Tim, I love this mobility classes, I have a very physical job so this quick morning stretches are keeping me flexible and happy without straining my body. Thanks 🙏
Perfect way to open up first thing in the morning when I am not fully ready yet to dive into my practice from the Conscious Movement Community. Thanks Tim, take it easy.
Tim, I have spinal and joint pain from decades of abusing my hypermobility in heavy work. Mornings I wake up so stiff it makes anything but coffee tough to move for in the first hour I am up. This routine has given me back my morning, I feel like I am 25! Thank you.
Great unexpected start to the day. Just spotted this as about to start moving composted soil around the garden. Yeee!!!! I’m ready!!!!! Thanks again Tim. Sue from Sydney😜😜🧘🏼♂️🤸♂️🧘🏼♂️
Don't know what I did there, went too soon. The nausea is a symptom for me Tim so a slow pace into poses and stretching is good. Will give this more thought. With love and thanks. Lizi xx

I had frozen shoulder TWICE! Ouch. I did PT the first time and it resolved. The second time I did a resistance band routine at home (both times with yoga) and it resolved it as well.
Just did a quick 10 minute video today. I would love to join your community through your website, and I plan to one day, but like so many others....the pandemic has caused cut backs in the family budget. The subscription will wait for a future time, but I will keep on using your You Tube videos in the interim. Thanks so much for what you offer. We all appreciate it.
I totally understand. I hope you continue using our RUclips videos 'in the interim'. Hope to see you some day soon on the CMC. Thank you and peace to you and your family!
Having done two of your 30 day challenges Tim - my forward bends has improved significantly but they will never be perfect, I don't think, as my spine curves inwards, at least that's my excuse. Again thank you a million times and glad to say anxiety is manageable today. xx 🙏🏻
Thank you Joanne! Will do. I have a video for Yoga at you desk. Here is the link in case you want to check that one out :) ruclips.net/video/HIlfzR6F2E4/видео.html
I liked the explanation to “sit into the hip” as you reach over for a side stretch. I have always found it hard to keep both sit-bones on the floor until you stated it that way.
I know my flexibility in my hips is not what it is supposed to be, but I am not exactly sure what the problem is. How about a series that help you identify what the exact problem is? I am not sure, is it the hamstrings or the glutes or the hip flexors or perhaps all of the above! Or perhaps something else? I have been a long time follower of your channel and your classes are the best! The Conscious Movement took my practice to a whole new level. Thanks!
The area that I need to focus on is lower back, I have sciatic issues which affect left leg mobility, but no pain. I found your back practice session a few days ago which I have been doing every evening and things seem to be improving. I am also modifying the regular morning routines to eliminate poses that are not beneficial to back issues such as an UpDog for instance. Anything you can do to build on the lower back would be really great. Thanks so much for all you do.
@@samfernandez135 ruclips.net/p/PLOFaQQCGbVl8m-0pUho7CT5mKic4fpyLy When I injured my back I did this one twice a day for two months. It took that long to be able to do a down dog without pain.
