My tower in cornwall uses cartwheels in the ropes! But i dont because whenever i have a loop the bell wont go up to balance and it’s tricky to set so i ring with an open tail end.
This is our own very unique art of devon call change ringing, as the bells are no where near the balance we tend to have a coil of rope in our hands rather than put knots in the rope to shorten it, hope that helps
wonderful cartwheel ringing! The conductor's voice is one of the most bizarre things I've heard in a while!

Why do they all cartwheel and have a loop wrapped around their hands, very unique!
