    Most people call the hanging part a "loop" but don't worry, your English is just fine 😊

    i started over and i got 36 stitches this time. i am starting all over for 3rd time. i was using K hook instead of I hook. It was turning out huge. i have the hang of it now. It seems easy enough, it's just me. i watched bout 4 times now and wrote it all out. i have 15 to make for Christmas presents . The stocking and dishclothes should make some happy family members for Christmas. Thanks and God bless you. i am so glad you shared this video, i appreciate you.

    this is my first christmas stocking i am brave enough to try. i have been crocheting 50 years too. i got to the row where u do the 3 SC tog. you said should be 36 stitches, i only have 34. i guess i will have to pull it all out or can i just do 2 SC tog instead and see how that looks. Thanks so much for your time and talent to do the video. i can't wait to see the next christmas stocking. you have a soothing voice and you make it easy. (even thou i messed up somewhere )

    After the brown colour at the heel, my work is much more narrow than originally and doesn't have the same turn to it. The heel is like a square and the sock follows that 90 degree corner. What am I doing wrong?

    This pattern need an extra stitch in row 7
    I added a ch 1 after the cluster or dc 2tog stitch and it worked out

    • @FranTangles
      @FranTangles 2 года назад +1

      That's why she says that after the cluster you need to do a normal double crochet in the next stitch 😊

    Hi, I love how you answer questions quickly! I cannot find bernat premium yarn. Do you have any suggestions for another yarn that would be similar? Thank you so much!

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  7 месяцев назад

      You can use any brand. The best weight is worsted weight which is medium 4 or aran in some countries.

    Hi - On Round 6, if I count the initial chain 3 as a double crochet, I end up with 37 stitches instead of 36. Any idea of what I did wrong? Thanks.

    i noticed on ravelry you have a pattern for this stocking. It is a little different like hook size and different in round one. I didn't go any further ,but i was wondering which is best to go by.

    How come my rows just keeps getting bigger? Instead of a “sock” shape, I’m getting a fan shape. If that makes any sense? I’m on row 8. I have watched the video over and over. I’m so confused.

    • @PassionateCrafter
      @PassionateCrafter  2 года назад +1

      Hi, can you contact me on facebook or on email. i need to see a picture of your work to tell you what you are doing wrong. i think you are adding stitch somewhere therefore your shape is not "sock".

      When doing the post cluster round you skip every other post, don't put a cluster on every post

    In order to keep the accurate stitch count of 36 in every round, you must increase in your hdc rounds: 1 hdc in the first stitch, then 2 hdc in the next stitch and repeat this all the way around ending with 2 hdc in the very last stitch leaving you with a total of 36 stitches all together.
    Also, unless you want gaps in your work, ONLY CHAIN 2 WHEN WORKING ROUNDS OF DC AND ONLY CHAIN 1 WHEN WORKING ROUNDS OF HDC!!!!!
