- Today we will show you how to fix your brakes that make a clicking noise when braking. This is a very cheap fix. Brakes will wobble back and forth if the hardware clips get too worn out. simply putting a new set of clips on will tighten everything up and make sure the brakes have nowhere to wobble
Thank you so much! ❤ The mechanics I went to were unable to figure it out. They've wasted my time and money for replacing the nuts in the front wheels and supposedly cleaning the brakes... Yeah, right 😮! I will go to a different mechanic on Saturday and I will bring these parts you've mentioned in your video with me, I will buy them myself. Thank you once again. 😊❤
Glad I could help! Please let us know the results. Hope the second mechanic was a good one. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

I have a slightly different style floating caliper where the pads have ears that slide along these pins on a caliper carrier. But my issue I think I the same. They are somehow jumping when I brake. So much to the point where I took the pads off and inspected and one of the inner pads had an actual lip. Any way to fix this on my setup? I’ve tried new pads and rotors and the issue remains. The car is a Mercedes e class
Thanks a bunch!!! Cheers

Hi, I have a question. Is it okay to run/use my car with this kind of clicking noise? I cannot bring my car to shop at the moment.
Unfortunately I can’t tell you through the internet whether or not your car is safe to drive. That’s a decision you will have to make on your own.
Thank u sir ❤ god bless you ❤

What do you call that part you replaced?
They are usually referred to as brake hardware or brake clips. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe
Or brake shims I think
No brake lube? I used to forget that stuff and learned over the years about uneven wear on the pads.
I don’t use it on the outside of the clips where the pad slides anymore. The clips are smooth and the pad will slide naturally. Grease there just builds up dirt and becomes worse than not having any grease.
