Considering she could barely breathe out a few low notes and had trouble speaking when she first hired a vocal coach for her come back, she made a remarkable recovery. No doubt her voice was forever damaged and changed due to smoking, emphysema, etc., but for her to be able to even sing slowly executed notes really was something. She was a very ill woman in this video, but you can see she was humble and connected with her audience. It's a shame that her vices stole so much from her. RIP Whitney.

It's interesting how even with 10% of her voice left, she still had more soul and was more interesting to listen to than the majority of singers out there. Her talent was bigger than her. When people "come down" from cocaine use, their body IS tired, their heart is trying to beat slower from the rapid beating under cocaine, and she is NOT well in this performance. So very sad because she was so very talented, she still could hit those high notes here, but she was struggling. A very lovely lady to fell to the false highs of cocaine, like so many did (and still do) and it can leave them drained physically, but still high so, like Whitney, then they use other drugs to calm down (which were found in her system at autopsy -- she had cocaine, Benedryl, Xanax, Flexeril and weed (mj) in her system when she died. Thankfully we have her early recordings to remember her, which are so much better than her later concert performances, but her audience obviously still loved her. RIP, Whitney, we all loved you and your beautiful voice, and know you're at peace now.

her age is why it was maturer sounding, there a few voice actors i like and there vices changed more mature and they have not had any substance abuse or ciggs. All the extra richness and fullness of sound was due to her lungs like showed in the autopsy but her maturer sound was due to age

I really can’t imagine what pain she felt. Knowing that she once had the voice of a goddess. She had to live up to a standard that she created herself. Can you imagine trying to live up that expectation with a damaged voice? I can’t imagine that pain. Not having her voice was probably equivalent to an artist not being able to see, or an athlete who got paralysis. Inside, she knows her voice is still there, but when it comes out, it doesn’t sound like it. Her old voice is fighting with the damage and shows up some times, but it’s her dedication and the fact that she still chose to sing that gets to me.

He didn't look good at all, and people just so they would get paid, like Pat and Gary Houston, family, will allow her to go out there like that night after night, getting killed by the Press, knowing she had chronic COPD and emphysema, the album was great, it did number one on the hot Billboard 100, there was no need for her to tour, she could have did one concert on TV, on a very good week when she was not realizing all the time, had good Peak flow measures, and did one concert on television, and found just as great as she did on Oprah in 2009, and that the VMAs in 2009, which is why she was able to sound great, on some of her concert dates here, and the net sound like she has something calling her throw, it was from emphysema and COPD, which is a chronic form of asthma, by cigarette smoking, her vocal cords were in perfect shape on her autopsy record, but these are the only video still show from the tour, because even in death they still ain't get one and make money off of her, and embarrass her at the same exact time. What a shame before God. SMH.😢😭
