That's a gorgeous pair of blades. I had a Trailmaster in SM for a time and sold it for some reason. Kinda dumb. But I feel that way about all the knives I've sold. 😂
How about putting them to some serious job for such thickness of a blade, like chopping pig bone or something similare? Any knife can cut cardboard if properly sharpened, no need to purchase such an expensive one for that.

I have the San Mai III version of the Trail Master. Excellent blade. However, I do believe the Modern Bowie is just as good, if not better. It all depends on how much you are prepared to pay.
