      @@davidlonhol8016 Not that I'm aware of. It is my understanding that Nimrod means "to fall away", "to rebel". In modern American English terms, fool or jerk. Here's a bit more about the name according to Metaphysical interpretation.
      Metaphysical meaning of Nimrod (mbd)
      Nimrod, nim-rod (Heb.)--self-ruling will; arbitrary sway; fallen from allegiance; insubordination; rebellion; revolution; anarchy; despotism; misrule; impiety.
      a Son of Cush. "He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah" (Gen. 10:8, 9). b The land of Nimrod (Mic. 5:6).
      Meta. Nimrod ("a mighty one in the earth," also, "a mighty hunter before Jehovah," and meaning self-ruling will, arbitrary sway, rebellion, despotism, misrule) pertains to the rule of personal will in the animal forces of the organism; also to a material belief in courage and might. The adverse phase of the ruling personal will of man is under the observation of Jehovah, the true Christ self of the individual, since the will, in the process of unfoldment spiritually, must be cleansed of its adverseness and be made subject to and unified with the divine will.
      Nimrod brought forth in the material, as is evidenced by Genesis 10:10: "And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar." (See the metaphysical interpretations of these names.)

    M’Berashet Katov....
    "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves”
    This sentence is spoken in high levels of Pride...
    Other examples:
    Isaiah 14:12-15
    “How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.
    Proverbs 16:18
    Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

    Identifying ourselves as human beings, each uniquely created in the image of God, living with purpose within a community, will allow ourselves to view others in the similar manner.
    Otherwise, the alternative is to identify ourselves as mere pawns within a secular movement or ideology in order to achieve purpose. These conflicting views of ourselves produce conflicting results.
    Individual vs the "collective".

  • @2016709889
    @2016709889 2 года назад +10

    I liked it! Lol. From my understanding, just to put it in different words, everyone was in total agreement that they didn’t need God. They were also totally in sync with each other, working together, to show that they didn’t need God. Building the tower was not necessarily the wrong, but the idea of they can accomplish anything on their own, was the wrong. (Even though, who knows, stopping them from building the tower was mercy towards them, and us all, for by breaking them up and scattering them, gave them a chance to be in need of help. It was a chance for them to look to God for help).
    I’ve also surmised that Nimrod was a part of this endeavor, perhaps a leader of sorts. He was quoted to have said he wanted to climb to the top and shoot God with his bow and arrow.
    I suppose at one time the name Nimrod was associated with being a great hunter, fighter, and very smart. Isn’t it ironic (and fitting) that we associate that name now with being a numbskull and a fool.

    • @SaintRegime
      @SaintRegime 2 года назад +4

      Nimrod became an insult because Bugs Bunny sarcastically mocked Elmer Fudd by calling him the name of the great hunter.
      In similar vein, people think Rabbits like carrots. When in fact Bugs Bunny eating a carrot was in reference to a movie "It Happened One Night."
      For anyone out there wondering, Rabbits regularly prefer lettuce and cabbage.

      Would you be an asshole if you pushed someone who cannot swim, into the deep end of a pool, just to save them? 100% breeding is an egregious crime against the born. Because breeders don’t have consent and they’re handing out a death sentence.
      At the very least, that makes intentional breeding tantamount to kidnapping and murder. Breeding is the harm that entails all other harm. It is to unnecessarily open the door to every conceivable pain, anguish and horror, for no good reason.
      To breed is to cater to the lowest rung within physical reality. It is an appeal to the lowest most vain nature in animals and an affront to the highest principles of logic and reason. It is a futile egoic pursuit of evolutionary perfection, which marks a grave reflection upon the soul in need of forging another profane representation in response to its origins of deprivation and subsequently its continuum.
      Where do breeders get the “right” to impose unnecessary risk, suffering and death without consent?
      “To force non-consenting humans into this world is to bring wood into a burning building.” Breeders are the root of all evil.

    You need to contemplate scripture more, meditate on the matters said. God told us why he confused their languages!
    Gen 11:6-8 ASV 6 And Jehovah said, Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is what they begin to do: and now nothing will be withholden from them, which they purpose to do. 7. ... 8 So Jehovah scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off building the city.
    If mankind stayed in one location having one single language, nothing would be impossible for them. What this tells us is that their technological avances would take them to where we are today in perhaps a very short time.
    There would be no march of nations, no separation into nations, Jews, Chinese, Japanese, Germans, Africans and all of what that implies. Their actions were not sinful as such; rather, these were going against God's purposes, his plans for mankind.
    Without national groups developing into nations and races, there would be no people of God, no Abraham to select, and no Israel - which would mean no Messianic redemption as promised in the prophecy of Genesis 3:14, 15.
    This circumvention of God's plan could not be tolerated; this is why God dispersed them all over the world, and to get them to disperse they had to feel separate from their fellow humans. The giving them different tongues did that. No longer being able to communicate with other families, their only choice was for each family to go their own way.

      I won’t disagree with your interpretation, but my interpretation is that a singular being with a singular focus can build anything, but what happens is individuals lose focus they are bombarded by thoughts outside of themselves that lead them in every which direction possible. This leads to them not living up to there potential. You can ascribe this similar theory in marriage that is supposed to be a union, and how a simple disagreement sows the seeds of doubt, your mind can race off into so many thoughts about a single event and each thought is essentially creating more smaller thoughts until you eventually dissolve the union.

    I recently read the book of Jasher and was fascinated by the story of the tower told there. It said that they wanted to build a giant tower so that they would not be forgotten as a nation and while building it it said that they planned to wage war against God and the angels once they got to heaven so that they can rule and set their own man made gods in heaven. If that's the case then it's obvious why God wasn't very happy with them.

      The only thing i can find on the book of jasher is that the only written copy was from about 1300 AD. So someone came in 1800 years later to fill in the gaps of a bible story.
      As for the story itself, there would have been thousands of people to take on such a large build. Where did so many people come from 100 years after Noah's flood when it was only 3 women and the 4th one was 600 years old? Did they have at least 15 kids each year for the 1st 20 years after the flood? How would that work?

    • @kamion53
      @kamion53 2 года назад

      nice parellel, but is the space station also a project of hubriss like the tower of babel always is presented to me.
      a more mundane explantion for the tower of babel is that it derived from the zigaruts of Babylon, a probably for ever going project in a city where many languages were spoken.
      And a city were a very large part of the Jews did not live due to their own choice.The zigurat could have become the same kind of symbol the Bastille was for the people of Paris; a symbol of the power of the state the Jews feld oppressed by.
      Is the space station too a symbol of oppression or hubriss? It only is when one considers the research of the working of the universe as hubris and there are a lot of people who think that all humankind needs to know is written down in the holy scriptures, a worldvieuw the loudly propagate using the byproducts of that research they consider hubriss. Internet would be impossible when the trip to the moon never had been made.

    1. Reread it. I was able to do it during the Sabbath observance (Matthew 24:20). The sin? Not observing Sabbath. The previous Cain and Abel comparison: controlling Temper, having patience, friendly competition, the 3 will perfect religious observance. 2. The sin was not about the construction of the Tower. The sin was their "imagination" and neglect of a day of rest to worship HaShem. 3. The "imagination" was a compounding of neglecting a day of observance and equating themselves to HaShem Elohim through constructing a tower not dedicated to him but themselves. 4. The Tower then became an idol in their minds. It was built with their hands but the imagination could also build idols. It was also a forecast of Nebuchadnezzar's idol of a man.

      Believe it or not, the tower of Babel incident was between two Anunnaki factions. The same two which have caused all the wars in history. And yes they were building to heaven, in the sense of rocket ships to Nibiru. I know it sounds crazy but the bible is full of amazing mysteries that gods wants us to discover. Read the lost book of Enki by Zachary Sitchen, it's on youtube, it's full of old testament stories and the possible truth behind them. The book is supposedly translated from ancient sumerian text, from the first civilization after the flood. Making it much closer to the source than the possible corrupted or purposeful altered versions we see in the bible today.
