Thanks for the refresher! Took a long break after finishing rise on switch, now getting PC to play with friends - very handy to see a refresher in early builds to get gunning again :)
honestly the LR set cant be completed until your almost in HR, due to the mats requiring the lava cavern unlock. the rest of the guide is stellar. tyvm
This is prime info. I didn't know you could efficiently play bowgun so early. Even though it's my prefered playstyle I think i'll play some melee at first since I'm pretty sure I'll only pewpew from afar for endgame farming >
Thanks for the guid. Been using viper shot gun with wroggi armor. Poison shots with rapid fire boom stick amo has good synergy with wroggi evade extender, ammo up, and poison build up. Going to use the rapid fire pierce High rank armor you showed as well for when spread ammo doesn't cover it.
The Izuchi LBG is better for rapid pierce and can rapid slice for HR (it's also easy to upgrade for more damage), till you can upgrade the Nargacuga LBG, Because you can't upgrade the Narga LBG till 6star. So you need to go through 4,5 star first and having 160 damage vs 100 damage is a rather clear choice even with the lower affinity.

Do you think you might include in another video some tips for getting better at fanning maneuver? I'm very inefficient with controlling the direction, distance, and timing.

I've basically been running your hr set in lr with the izuchi lbg and it's doing work. Only problem I find is with all the damage numbers popping up I can't see what the monster is doing.

Hammer go bonk! From what I know you will be fine, nothing crazy needed, but make sure to check out rise hunting horn if you want musical bonks, it differs greatly from world.
I was having trouble too. Shift E is what it told me to use (e is my special ammo button). In the ranged keybinds the very last multibutton keybind (lets you bind 1 key to a multikey imput) is for the silkbind. I bound that to a key and just hit one button to vault/maneuver.

Now that I progressed with the village quest it eventually was listed as possible bonus reward (was mainly doing hub quests because im playing coop most of the time). So I guess I just tried it to early? Or the listing is also rng, but it's always listed as bonus reward for me now.
I know this channel is bow gun fan based and bg are op in rise. But starting off with bg but not melee weapons you will loss chances to learn monsters move pattern, except you are doing no shield spread ammo hbg

The HR4 quest gives Elemental Reload. Fanning Maneuver is obtained just by getting to 3 Star quests on the Village or 2 Star on the Hub

There’s also Wind Thief L. Bowgun that’s easy to get from Great izuchi as a good rapid fire pierce before narga’s with slicing ammo too!

Probably but it’s technically not an early “set.” mainly because you need decorations but the decos aren’t that hard to get.
Wish me luck that Rise somehow ends up on GeForce now or I won't need this guide for a loooong while xD

Of course. for spread 3 Maggy is meta and that is single fire. For normal 3 - zinogre LBG is meta

it's rng based if you get in the submarine or not. make sure you send your cats at the right location
