I have 40 years Experience in Paint & Body . The left front door on your Raptor simply needs the striker adjusted in slightly to pull your door in . At the same time will fix the air leak sound . It’s a 5 min fix . I am still laughing at the thought of Ford replacing your door for this tiny adjustment ! 14:48
Love the truck hate the shifter. The ones they made in 2018-2021 looked awesome, very solid. The ones today that fold down are all plastic. Great video, bro. Update: After having my F250 for about a year, i have since sold my truck. I totally miss it, but the gas mileage was absolutely horrible. I hated the shifter on the steering wheel column. Looked so old school. I did find a shifter for it, but to take it off the steering wheel and place it between the seats was over $1500 in just labor, and to me, it wasn't worth the cost.
I was going to tint my sunroof on my 2018 raptor. Multiple shops said not to do it because it can effect it's ability to shed the sunlight heat. Ultimately the glass could fail. Just passing on some info. I learned. Let us know if you end up having any issues. Thanks for the video!
Love my '23 Raptor. Only things wrong with mine has been the auto wipers didn't work from factory & it needed an alignment. 5k mark engine is broken in. I also did my first oil change around then. EPG will improve around there, I am at 15-16 avg, but hoolin it 13😂.
My 2023 Raptor has the same exact door panel transition. The bottom of the doors align perfect. The very top of the door aligns perfect. However the area just below the window, where you pointed to, the front door is about 1mm further out. Not bad enough for me to have it messed with. Body panels aren’t as good as my Lexus, but better than my friend’s Tesla.
I went and watched my Raptor get built...after production they have a team looking at the alignment of the doors and all the seams to make sure they line up correctly and actually fix any mis alignment on the spot...pretty cool...but it looks like they missed yours...they will fix this issue if you ask them to.
The standard Revolver covers are notorious for dents in them from acorns or hail- the standard trifold ones. The cover you have looks like it would be better for small dents
I just watched your video I do believe if you adjust your Stryker on your door that will fix your issue with the wind noise and the door sticking out. You'll be surprised how dumb the dealerships are that they wouldn't figure that out. Also your lights coming on every time you get next to it you will wear your battery out if you're walking by a lot you can shut that option off.
These are not necessarily problems. I was hoping to see common problems that occur with the Raptor. How is the reliability of the V6 engine, gearbox? Why exactly do people complain most often when they take their cars in for service?
I live in south Mississippi and I do not like heated steering. I have one on my Cadillac Blackwing and I acidentially turn it on and kinda burns my hands before I get it off and its too late. Fit and finish is fine...I have the 37" wheels with bead locks. I don't like tinted windows...and they attract cops especially in states that dont like tint. I have the Orange and Tufskinz make loads of decals and I have blinged mine with every letter in orange and they are making me a few special orders. I'm not a decal delete dude...I'm 66 and we loved chrome. BY FAR THE GREATEST TRUCK I HAVE EVEN OWNED OR DRIVEN. If you get invited by Ford Performace to go to the Ford Performance Racing School in Tooele, Utah at the Raptor Assault...Go for it and you will learn why these trucks are so special. 2023 BAJA 1000 WINNER - totally stock with lexan windows and ran the A/C for 1,100 miles. Everything is perfect...don't ruin it with stupid modifications for no reason. If you do I will send you the shipping and you can send me all those horrib;e OEM sucky parts.
I have the exact same color combo as yours I love this truck definitely needs power running boards. I bought the rough country need to get them installed.
Really would love a raptor but worry about reliability for such an expensive truck. Which do you prefer this raptor or the ram rebel? I know totally different
@Hammerdown Motorsports curious as to what they ended up doing to fix the door adjustment? I have the same issue with my 2024. Noticed it sometime after driving it
Looks beautiful brother! I have a 2014 Gen 1 Raptor that I do videos about on my page. I wish I had that automatic tailgate on my truck that’s a nice feature!
I heard this truck shuts down, loses 4x4 and driver mode when going through water. If the water reaches your front bumper, the problems listed above can happen
The heated steering wheel option is industry wide. Please correct if I am wrong, but I read this is all manufacturers. Sorry about the door, that would bug the crap out of me. Anyone have a great recommendation on extra lights?
Yea that shifter is the thing that stood out to me when I drove one. It is really bad quality compared to everything else, and all for a useless feature. I can only figure one use for it, but it's not the same one ford promotes it for lol
Is the steering wheel heat ready and jist need the option installed like the switch? Same wheel as the heated ones. That sucks. One og my fav and nessity items
no one complains about the ride being too stiff? Gen 2 has a much more comfortable suspension with leaf springs. The Raptor 37 is too sporty, there is not much left of the old gen 2 nice spring. Have to sell my gen 3 and keep the gen 2.
Each his own..... A coil spring 5 link is a huge jump in tuning and function over leaf spring in every situation (except towing). Not many actual offroaders would pick leafs over coils and multi link. Gen 2 is a downgrade all around over a G3 (except looks).
Ford took off the heated steering wheel and Advanced security system off the trucks cause it’s was causing issues with the truck. Dang you only get 13mpg I get 18mpg in my raptor and only have 300+ miles on it
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA thanks I'm looking see, if I get it but I want a reliable truck to keep for a while and I do love the 2024 raptor R. And again thanks for replying back 👍🏼
Gotta love FORD's junky plastic interior that is in literally every F series trim level. Their cheap leather seats wear out after 30,000 miles too. RAM has really surpassed these guys on interiors.
I have a 37 package 2021 and I can verify that the Recaro's are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in in my life!
I agree !

The loved the carbon fiber shifter in my gen2
I strongly agree, what dipshit at Ford thought it was a good idea to put in some garbage plastic shifter. Only reason I won’t buy the truck.
Agree 💯. Just traded my 2018 Platinum in for a 2023 Raptor. Awesome truck…but def hate the shifter. Loved the pistol grip shifter from my Platinum!
@Pilot545 Me too! I just sold my 2018 F250 had it for one year.
Just got my 24 and I hadn’t thought about it but you’re right it’s the only thing that bugs me
The adaptive headlights are the best thing to the automotive industry in years ! We have it on our new SUV as well
Super cool I have to see that thing sometime too
My 2007 Lexus IS 350 had adaptive headlights and cooled seats. It's nice for sure
I love my 22 Raptor! Did have to get the front bumper straightened. Waiting for my R now.
Be careful the new R’s are having massive oil leaks and tranny issues. Hopefully resolved by when you get yours.
@@BigMikeRobinsonFJB Yea, I'm hoping the delays are them resolving it.

they were able to fix it at the body shop
Got my 23 raptor a month ago and is already getting the tailgate motor replace lol . Went bad in a month

Hi Hammerdown could u tell me what's the brand of ur softcover and where can i purchase by any chance thank u love ur video😊

A simple striker plate adjustment will do the trick
The standard Revolver covers are notorious for dents in them from acorns or hail- the standard trifold ones. The cover you have looks like it would be better for small dents
you have to double press the tailgate button on the gen 3, so that's why you had to press it twice.

Lol! You got me .... people always like to complain.
I do like my 22 raptor. Only thing I don't like is the step rails I think are on backwards.if you look at the cut outs they don't match up
I've had two recalls for my 22 raptor. Went to the dealer and they did a 10,000mile service costing over 500$$

Dislike the wheels that’s about it. I like the ford headlock wheels.

Where can I find the vinyl decals for the front and rear Ford
I like mine being ford dark tbh looks better imo. but yours looks pretty good
24 with crooked door. Body shop adjusted it properly
What % tint did you do on the front windows and the back windows? Like the look of the truck!
18 all around and over the factory rears
