We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ Развлечения
Hi Sam. My name is Tristan and I am 11 years old. I haven’t had Mac and cheese in a while and wanted to do it the right way. I decided to use your recipe because the foods you cook on your channel are really good including the Mac and cheese. The meal was successful and my family enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for the great recipe. Best wishes from New York.
Im proud of you
Nice! Great job, dude!
Great job, that’s awesome!
😃👍👍
Get it little dude.
As a southerner, the funniest thing I've heard in a while is Sam, a canadian in california, trying to imitate a southern accent hahaha
I agree, I agree!!!💯🤞🏾🤭😂🤣💁🏾♀️
Ayuh. As we say Down East.
Hilarious, but his “southern” Mac and cheese is very californianized
Possibly the worst accent I ever heard
Let a man from the south film himself making matzah balls while trying a yiddish accent, that'll go over well
My 14 year old granddaughter made this tonight (with some supervision😅} awesome. It was so good that 3 people demolished half the pan.
Here are two tips from someone who has been making baked mac for over a decade.
One, you don't really need to shred the cheese. Once you have your sauce liquid warm, just slice off small pieces from the block and toss them in.
Two, you can add some gruyere cheese, in a 1:4 ratio to the cheddar which will give it a more unique flavor. So that's not actually Southern style, but a twist on it. I have never tried using the Velveeta.
I'm good with the 5 second rule, my problem is, we have a 3 second dog.
Even less. Sometimes before it hits the ground.
That's what she said....
Mine hovers nearby to intercept and get little cuts of meat when I cook. Is something falls it's gone.
Count yourself lucky! My husky can be dead asleep in another room! The minute I drop something it's like she magically teleports & catches that shit before it ever hits the ground!
Your comment made me smile and chuckle. Long live dogs!
"that's what she said" is not too much. Michael Scott would be proud.
Those 2 comments were probably from Jan and Toby
Correction: Charles Minor
"That's too much." -- That's what she said.
@@oleo4925 I........declare..........BANKRUPTCY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha I love it, but yeah it’s too much. It’s been overplayed, time for new material boys. Pay attention to that man!!!
9:18 is the best praise for a food item I've ever heard in my life
So, I made this...and it was incredible. A friend of mine said it was the best Mac & Cheese she ever had in her life. Awesome. But when I made it, I realized that I didn't have enough bacon. So I mixed bacon with hot breakfast sausage and it turned out AMAZING. Thanks guys. This past year has sucked in so many ways, but your show is one of the things I genuinely look forward to now. Blessings.
2 rules I live by... 1. You can NEVER have too much cheese and 2. I only use pre shredded when the block isn’t available. I love your food!
"That's what she said" is a profound expression and must be used whenever an occasion presents itself to do so.
I'm sorry, I am ALL WOMAN!!! AND I have to Agree on this one!!! 🤷🏾♀️ Hell it's Funny!💁🏾♀️🤭😂🤣
I am pretty sure it's a law...somewhere... LOL!
That's What She Said!!! :-)
I just made this last weekend as part of my husband's birthday meal. My parents had dinner with us and they all said it was the best mac and cheese they've ever had. I agree. Thank you!
"RIGHT BOYS" most dad phrase ever.
they werent even listening. but they want the food in the end.
Sam, you’ve cursed me for life! Even when I’m cooking by myself, I say (out loud, to no one in particular), “Aaaaand, we mix.”
I was actually going to make mac and cheese for my little sister's birthday now i can try this 😁
Liar. You're making mac and cheese for yourself and if your sister is nice she can have some... maybe.
@Eighty Baby I like a lil bacon in my mac + a lil blue cheese
@Eighty Baby there's no such thing as the southern way...everyone make it different. We're not robots.
your going to eat it all bud
A hero in my book
Really enjoy your style and sense of humor, in addition to knowing that your dishes/recipes are winners.
Don't change anything Max and Sam, the TWSS are what makes me keep watching. I love making your recipes, thanks!!
Perhaps it is time to grow up, and watch it for Sam's stellar teaching and cooking skills.
Don't worry Lydia,
at SOME point Little Mitchy WILL grow up.
We just gotta give him time.
(and let's not forget, it takes some boys longer than others)
Sam: We want you to eat better...
Me: Running to the store to get bacon, Velveta, butter, cheddar cheese, Monterey cheese and pasta!
“Better” not “Healthier” eat GOOD not good my friend
Lmao 🤣
Sam! Can we get smoked pulled pork tacos?
Sam, your channel keeps my firehouse fed. We don't have the time or money to buy box graters and fancy ingredients. Love that you keep it simple. Don't ever change you beautiful man.
“That’s what she said” will never be too much.
Sam you killed me with the: "I am Jewish and I go to synagogue everyday" with the background of bacon and cheese
Yeah but he uses kosher salt hahaha
I know plenty of Jews who eat bacon.
@@Habitt5253 Orthodox vs non-Orthodox
@@bamachine you’re probably right, I sincerely doubt any of them are orthodox.
@@Habitt5253 i know but its funny
The “that’s what she said” will never die when it works it works
Made this for Christmas dinner! Turned out excellent!! Only thing I changed was panko on top for some crunch. Thanks for the great recipe.
That Paula segment had me rolling!!!! Great video guys!!! Gotta try this soon!
"This is making me want to go to church" 😂😂. Baptists would go crazy for this episode
“That’s what she said” never gets old.
It way old.
I made this macaroni & cheese tonight and it was awesome! It is honestly the best I have ever tasted. Thanks Sam!
There's nothing wrong with pre-shredded cheese. It does dry out faster than block cheese because it has more surface area, but just use it before it dries out.
“ I am jewish going to the synagogue” five minutes later eating bacon. I recognize myself too much I’m there. 😂
“I could go on and on but then these boys wouldn’t get any”.......that’s what she said!
Exactly my thoughts lol
Came to comment this thank you
I Like the way You Think. :)
His bacon grease comment made my wife say for a Jew. Hmmm.
Me and my girlfriend went to the grocery store today and bought the ingredients for this! Making it as we speak! It’s in the oven and it’s looking delicious!!! ❤️ You inspire me to cook every video I see! I literally bought a cast iron skillet because I saw some of your videos omg totally worth it! Thank you! Keep the good ass videos up my guy 👍🏼🙏🏼
What did it taste like though?
Still make this every year for thanks giving, Christmas, and all back yard cook outs and BBQ’s. Love it. And the kids ask for it when ever they can lol
Just put the pre-grated cheese in serving bowls off camera.
And just like that, sam shredded it
Better yet,
Not giving grown adults acting like crybabies any attention.
Because doing the opposite just encourages poor behavior and is a detriment to all.
“That’s what she said” will NEVER be played out....lol. That mac looks delicious!
I did this recipe and was sooo good. Thank you so munch for sharing it with us. Thank you from Quebec Canada.
I made this for a family dinner this weekend and everyone loved it. Next time, I'll have to make more so I'll have some leftovers. Thank you for a great recipe!
Yes, love this! First. Let the haters talk shit about the ‘5 second rule’. Clearly they’ve been pampered all their lives. Ruffage build immunity!
nasty parasite infections were the reason southerners were lazy . well really sick and anemic
Ruffage build immunity! Fiber?
There’s not a lot better than hearing a Canadian California guy do a Southern accent. That was great
RIGHT BOYS?! Hilarious every time. Oh and the food's good, too. Gonna make this with my smoked brisket this weekend.
Got so excited when he pulled out the velveeta brick. FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS THE SECRET
Two things for Max.
1. I’m disappointed you didn’t make a “Macaroni Noises😉😏” comment lol.
2. Never give up or stop saying “that’s what she said.” 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I once told a joke about macaroni.
It was pretty cheesy.
8:24
This bit.... As soon as Sam let his country twang come rolling out, I flat out hollered 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shredding your own cheese makes it’s stick better anyway. So you’re doin it the best way! Yasssss! This recipe is fire.
"I'm Jewish and I go to Synagogue" Proceeds to put bacon on everything.
Was wondering if someone would hit the brakes there.... LOL
I think for many Jews "keeping Kosher" means avoiding that double bacon cheeseburger on Passover.
Yea I think it’s an ethnicity not a religion.
I would have bet he was not Jewish.
I’m Jewish and I eat bacon; but I’m also from Texas. We eat bacon on everything. It’s kinda the 11th commandment that Texans all abide by.
After hearing Sam’s fake accent... he’s not invited to the cookout
But then that Mac comes out of the oven.. alright you’re invited
I think he's watched Forest Gump for more than five seconds...
Nah he still not invented
Y’all love inviting everyone to the cookout..
Amen
I love this simple delicious mac and cheese. It’s the best. Thanks Sam
Absolutely great. I added some diced green chilies to kick it up a little. Also used Tony Chachere creole seasoning in place of salt.
This is like a "Mac-n-Carbonara". Definitely giving this a try.
You’re just pure enjoyment. Love seeing your videos not just for the great recipes but for the humor you guys have. Keep them coming!
That looks yummy! As a southerner baked mac and cheese is my favorite. I grew up making it with evaporated milk, imstead of regular milk and a sprinkle of paprika on top before baking. Also never used Velveeta in baked version, only stovetop. Funny thing is I just bought the ingredie ts to male baked mac and cjeesw for supper one night this coming week and I came across this video!
Being a Mexican American from the southwest part of the country, this is also very similar to how we make make and cheese. One major thing I do differently is sprinkle some shredded (or diced) jalapeño or cerrano pepper on mine before I eat. Not only for a splash of color but a bit of heat as well.
Looks delicious, I'll try this version. However, as a child of the South, the absence of ground mustard, a roux and some other seasonings is mildly disturbing. However, it looks amazing, and we are debating great versus fantastic at this point 🤷🏾♂️
I will second the ground mustard and roux. Idk about where you're at but here we've never used velveeta either. But damn it does look good!
I think he used the custard in place of the roux. I'm trying to figure out why he misplaced the minced garlic.
I know! I’m Australian though 🤣
But seasoning....
As another child of the South (MS & GA), I have never used eggs, Velveeta, or a roux in my mac... I guess it's all in how we were taught. But, that absence of dry mustard forever gets the side-eye.
@@MistressD1va maybe that's why it's soulfood and not southern
Must use extra sharp and highly recommend adding some Colby Jack for more flavor. You can also dump all the raw ingredients (still boil noodles or use the no-boil baking version) into a crock pot for 3-4 hours on low and let it slowly come together and fill your house with the cheese aroma.
Love that demeanor and style.... No matter what, Sam's recipes are all good!!
The only thing you’re missing is a little paprika over the top! Otherwise it looks amazing!! If you brought that to the house here in Birmingham we wouldn’t kick ya out!
paprika has literally 0 taste
I was going to say the same exact thing. To take it one step further use smoked paprika
@Lolo get out my head. Was about to say the same ting
@@bman31 its for spice man
@@yessuhyessuh2100 bro… you did not just. paprika ≠ spice. has no flavor my guy
NO. KEEP THE THATS WHAT SHE SAID. FREAKING HILARIOUS
I will definitely be making this. Every recipe so far has been great
Delicioso!!! I prepared the identical recipe and it was great thanks Sam, tremendous videos
You are NEXT LEVEL. Thanks for been so awesome in the Kitchen.
“THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!” Keep em’ coming!
Sam, as a born and raised Texan, bacon is traditional in everything.
Love this as a base concept! I may change some of the cheese around, something like pepper jack. Thank you!
It’s all in the vacuum packaging for Velveeta. Plus, it’s what’s called shelf stable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated. It’s very high in sodium and fat. That’s what makes it sooooo good.
Max can say that's what she said with unlimited power if he can prove himself worthy as a chef.
If Max has to stop saying “That’s what she said” the Sam has to stop saying “oh fuckin shit goddamn that’s hot”.
“Oh fuckin shit goddamn that’s hot.”
That’s what she said.
He burns himself every episode 😂
This comment is incredibly underrated

Made it. Ate it. Loved it. Thanks guys.
Just found your channel definitely binge worthy
Being from SC, I'll teach you what a southern accent actually sounds like in trade for a day of cooking.
Oh, and there's no such thing as too much "that's what she said".
I love how he added more cheese for “contrast” at 10:45
Leesten Leeenda. I love your recipes! I personally don't choose to use pre-grated cheese because it is coated with cornstarch to prevent it from clumping and affects the end product. I won't use it when I use your recipes, but I don't care if you do. You do you! That's what she said!! ;) If you like it, that's all that matters. Also, as a southern girl born and raised. Good job! That looks super tasty! Oh and using your grandmas cast iron skillet!?! Chef's kiss!
I love my box grater, and getting a little exercise while cooking is a good thing, and clean up easier.
its NEVER enough MAX!! Keep it up with the "that's what she said!" That's part of what makes this so good!!
Senators suck add danny boy
Forever will the phrase live "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID" Keep it going lol, the humor and good food makes this channel very comforting.
Lmao the way Max replies "WHO" at 13:32 KILLS ME LOL Like seriously when is thats what she said enough
Line about eating a little bit and not the whole ****ing thing made my wife and I bust out laughing! Great recipe!
“Velveeta gonna survive the zombie apocalypse” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 MAX IS THE BEST
Looks delicious. I've been subbed to you since 'the Best Burger you Ever Made' video. Best decision ever.

I am a rabid meatatarian so that video immediately engaged my interest, and forced me to hit subscribe! Your delivery is hilarious, also engaging, and makes me want to keep watching. Keep doing what you do! Signed, a new fan. Mac and cheese also looks fabulous. I concur that for your recipes, a fifteen second rule would be fine! To hell with the haters. Love the t-shirts.

i made this today and it was a huge hit with my family. everyone was very very happy with it!! we have added it to the recipe book for future dinners!
A rotary grater does well on cheese grating. Easy to clean too. I live and learn. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.
Definitely our new go to recipe!
“Creamy in my mouth...that’s not what she said” I fucking love it you’re killing me😂😂😂
I love the “that’s what she said thing” I do it along with you and I piss my pants every time 😅😂
I drop stuff on the counter all the time. 5 second rule is fundamental. You are a hero, not a villain.
Sam says "I could go on and on and talk but these boys won't get any." That's what she said. Pro southern tip try a touch of nutmeg in the Mac and Cheese.
There is no such thing as too much “that’s what she said”. I often find myself saying it while watching your videos when Max doesn’t say it because there was an opening for someone to say “that’s what she said” and I could not resist the urge.

He shreds real cheese then adds Velvetta - lol Oh man, you are so going to hear about that one!! Stay well Sam
