I have the core belief that potato chips on any sandwich is amazing. Seriously - any sandwich. Props on being able to open a new bag of chips and not eat half the bag before getting them to the bread. The Munchies episodes are always my favorites!
Well I've been a big fan of a tomato and mayonnaise sandwich ever since I was wee bobby and also believe that just about every sandwich has a perfect flavor and style of chip/crisp to add that extra crunchy depth to experience, although I have never thought of adding them to the simple tomato and mayo and now I'm looking forward to having later today for lunch 😀

We ate crinkle cut bbq chip sandwiches all the time growing up. Best ever. The crunch of chips against soft white bread is the best. Also Heinz salad cream is also the best, it makes the best potato salad dressing.

We eat tomato sandwiches here in the South. Plain old white bread, sliced homegrown tomatoes, salt, Hellman’s or Dukes mayo on both sides, slap the top on it, cut it, and devour it.
you need to try red hot dogs. They are a Maine thing but I'm pretty sure you can order them online. Jordan's makes them and they are delicious. The red casing gives them a nice snap when you bite into them. For the apple pies you could have used apple jelly or apple butter to make Max happy and give him gooey

I have left overs, and I have the Munchies. I created left over steak dinner quesadillas and steak dinner grilled cheese. This dilla's were baked @ 375 using fresh uncooked tortilla's stuffed with skirt steak, sauteed bella shrooms n onions, garlic blue cheese mashed potatos, and roasted bacon brussels. YUM! The fresh tortillas turned out more like a puff pastry. It was epic. With the remaining steak and potatos - A Grilled cheese on texas toast kicked up with some hatch green chilies... I urge you and other that follow to try this.. Something about the mashed spuds and cheese on both of these... even if they come from that guilty pleasure bag from that state known for spuds we all keep in the pantry. Oh, and those pantry potato's also make awesome easy gnoocchi - with all the flavors they come in; just think of the endless fuffy pillows of goodness you could create. Where I'm from, we live for tomato sandwiches made with with fresh garden tomatoes. It's one of my favorite things about summer. White bread, garden tomato, mayo, some salt and pepper, along with a bag of plain Lay's potato chips. When I was a kid, we had homemade biscuits for breakfast almost every morning. If there were any left over, we would sometimes make tomato sandwiches out of those biscuits. I still do that from time to time.
Chips tomato sandwich I grew up on those in my house.when we barely had anything. I used to make mine with salt and vinegar chips tomatoes on toasted sourdough bread with mustard

As a teen, I would slip down to the kitchen in the very late evening for a lettuce (iceberg then) mayo and white bread sandwich. I haven't had white bread in my kitchen in a zillion years. However, whatever that bread is that you used in this video has me VERY tempted. What is it? I have my Kewpie, but have not yet learned to like it. I'm a Kraft girl all the way. But, I am not giving up on the Kewpie yet!

Wow.!!! Didn’t have tomato sauce, so I used salsa. I had pepperoni, so I didn’t use hot dogs (I had a negative experience with bologna pizza many years ago). The results were amazing. Thank you, Sam!!!!

So, I'm sure there's going to be a munchies 6? Anyway to go with your "Meals with leftovers" cook book I have and love i was inspired after seeing munchies 5. I have left overs, and I have the Munchies. I created left over steak dinner quesadillas and steak dinner grilled cheese. This dilla's were baked @ 375 using fresh uncooked tortilla's stuffed with skirt steak, sauteed bella shrooms n onions, garlic blue cheese mashed potatos, and roasted bacon brussels. YUM! The fresh tortillas turned out more like a puff pastry. It was epic. With the remaining steak and potatos - A Grilled cheese on texas toast kicked up with some hatch green chilies... I urge you and other that follow to try this.. Something about the mashed spuds and cheese on both of these... even if they come from that guilty pleasure bag from that state known for spuds we all keep in the pantry. Oh, and those pantry potato's also make awesome easy gnoocchi - with all the flavors they come in; just think of the endless fuffy pillows of goodness you could create. Where I'm from, we live for tomato sandwiches made with with fresh garden tomatoes. It's one of my favorite things about summer. White bread, garden tomato, mayo, some salt and pepper, along with a bag of plain Lay's potato chips. When I was a kid, we had homemade biscuits for breakfast almost every morning. If there were any left over, we would sometimes make tomato sandwiches out of those biscuits. I still do that from time to time.

Chips tomato sandwich I grew up on those in my house.when we barely had anything. I used to make mine with salt and vinegar chips tomatoes on toasted sourdough bread with mustard

I haven't even finished the video yet and I must comment. That sandwich looks great!!! As a teen, I would slip down to the kitchen in the very late evening for a lettuce (iceberg then) mayo and white bread sandwich. I haven't had white bread in my kitchen in a zillion years. However, whatever that bread is that you used in this video has me VERY tempted. What is it? I have my Kewpie, but have not yet learned to like it. I'm a Kraft girl all the way. But, I am not giving up on the Kewpie yet!

Okay, I must comment again. I am a BIG fan of McDonald's Apple Pie (not much else besides their tea, but Apple Pie, yes). And, they are 2 for 1 right now here in Louisville. I agree with Max! Must be gooey, but NOT apricot jam. Team Max on this one!
